Lin Feng seeks out spirit beasts for combat training and, using a powerful and mysterious Chaos Qi, distorts reality to teleport himself and Sun Xiurong to the depths of a forest. They immediately encounter a powerful Early Stage Divine Blood Realm spirit beast, a giant black spider, which Lin Feng intends to fight alone.

"Junior Brother, you should at least wait until we understand its abilities. You don’t even know what kind of spirit beast this is.."

Lin Feng smiled faintly.

"Senior Sister, isn’t that precisely what makes it interesting?"

Before she could say anything further, he turned toward the giant black spider.

The beast had remained motionless between the towering trees, but its eight eyes were fixed on Lin Feng. It seemed to have understood that the human cultivator before it was challenging its authority.

Suddenly, its enormous body moved.

Despite its size, the spider was frighteningly swift. Its eight legs pushed against the tree trunks, sending its massive body hurtling toward Lin Feng like a black meteor.

The surrounding branches snapped under the force of its movement.

Lin Feng’s eyes narrowed.

Boom!

He clenched his fist and punched forward.

His yang blood qi surged through his body, gathering around his fist and reinforcing his flesh. The air trembled as his fist collided with one of the spider’s enormous legs.

A deafening impact resounded through the forest.

The spider’s leg bent slightly under the force, while Lin Feng was sent flying backward. His body smashed through several thick branches before he managed to stabilize himself in midair.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He had deliberately met the attack head-on to test the difference in their physical strength, and the result was clear. This beast was definitely stronger than average beasts of its realm..

The spider let out a sharp hiss before pursuing him again.

Its eight legs moved in rapid succession, allowing it to traverse the trees with astonishing agility. Before Lin Feng could fully steady himself, one of its forelegs swept toward his chest.

Lin Feng sensed the danger and twisted his body to evade the strike, but the spider’s movement was slightly faster than he had anticipated.

Bang!

The sharp tip of its leg grazed his shoulder, tearing through his clothes and opening a deep wound.

Blood splattered into the air.

Sun Xiurong’s expression changed immediately. She instinctively moved forward but stopped herself when she remembered his request.

Meanwhile, Lin Feng glanced at his injured shoulder. The wound was already closing.

His flesh knitted together at a visible pace, and within a few breaths, the bleeding stopped completely. Only the torn fabric and traces of blood remained as evidence of the injury.

Sun Xiurong was throughly shocked, she knew his regeneration was quite formidable but she never thought that it was to this extent..

Lin Feng flexed his shoulder before looking at the spider again.

He could feel the difference between them more clearly now, but it only made his blood boil in anticipation. He longed for this... The blood qi within his body began to surge more vigorously, and he moved...

His figure blurred as he crossed the distance between them, his fist aiming directly at the spider’s head.

The beast raised two forelegs to intercept him.

BOOM!

Their collision produced a shock wave that swept through the surrounding trees.

The spider’s legs were forced apart, but Lin Feng’s fist also suffered the impact. A sharp pain traveled through his knuckles, and the bones within his hand cracked under the tremendous force...but before the pain could spread further, his regeneration began repairing the damage.

Lin Feng paid it no attention.

Using the momentum of their collision, he twisted his waist and drove his other fist into the spider’s head.

Bang!

The spider’s body lurched sideways. Its enormous frame crashed into a nearby tree, causing the entire trunk to shake violently. Leaves and branches rained down around it.

Lin Feng didn’t give it an opportunity to recover.

He followed immediately, his fists striking one after another.

Each punch carried the full force of his reinforced body. He didn’t use any techniques. Every attack was driven by nothing more than his physical strength and the blood qi circulating through his flesh.

The spider roared in annoyance. Its eight legs began moving frantically, attempting to fend off Lin Feng’s relentless assault.

One leg swept toward Lin Feng’s head.

Lin Feng sensed it before it even moved and ducked beneath it before punching the joint of another.

A sharp crack echoed through the forest.

The spider’s leg bent at an unnatural angle, and its massive body briefly lost its balance. Lin Feng seized the opening and leaped upward, bringing his fist down toward its head.

BOOM!

The spider was smashed out of the air and crashed into the ground. The earth trembled, and a shallow crater formed beneath its body.

Sun Xiurong watched the exchange with widened eyes.

She had expected him to struggle against a beast whose cultivation surpassed his own, but she hadn’t expected him to fight so fiercely. More importantly, he wasn’t relying on some powerful technique to bridge the gap between their realms.

Nevertheless, she doubted that this fight was over, as she could see that the spider’s blood qi was raging far more fiercely than before.

Before Lin Feng could launch another attack, the black spider’s abdomen suddenly contracted.

A thick strand of black web shot toward him.

Lin Feng, who had already sensed it, immediately twisted his body, narrowly avoiding the first strand. The web passed beside his face and struck a tree behind him.

The moment it made contact, the surrounding branches were pulled together by the immense adhesive force.

Lin Feng watched it expressionlessly, but he was more alert than ever...since he felt a greater sense of danger than before..

And as expected, before he could even change directions, several more strands shot toward him from different angles.

Lin Feng moved swiftly through the air, dodging the first two, but he wasn’t able to dodge the third, even though he knew where it was coming from. Their speed surpassed his own by quite a margin.

The third web struck his hand and tightened instantly.

He felt a powerful force pulling him toward the spider, and rather than resist, he allowed the momentum to carry him forward.

The spider’s eyes flashed with vicious intent as it raised its remaining forelegs, preparing to impale him the moment he entered their reach.

At the last instant, when Lin Feng almost reached striking distance of the spider, he clenched his trapped fist.

His blood qi surged to limits..
