Dragon Monarch System Chapter 994 994:- Mysteries of the Crown of Seven Seas

"Let me use my ability on this Crown."
"Is there any way that I can be of help?"
"Grab my palm so you will be able to experience everything with me."
Aditya didn't have to shut his eyes whatsoever. The world around him shifted entirely in an instant.
It felt like they had entered a majestic throne room. This enormous hall brimmed with masses of spectators. The throng was chanting fervently.
[Long Live the Crimson Empire!]
[Long Live the Crimson Emperor!]
[Long Live the conqueror of conquerors!]
[Congratulations, Your Majesty! Another mighty empire has fallen. No might can stand against the conqueror of conquerors. The crimson empire expands once again.]
[Your Majesty, you are the King of Kings. The entire main continent is now under your control. You are the ultimate king of heaven and earth.]
[The reign of the Crimson Empire will continue for eternity.]
Countless individuals from diverse tribes and races bowed low before the formidable being hailed as the King of Kings. These were peoples that Athena and Aditya had never encountered or even known about. Some races she recalled from dusty ancient tomes, extinct for hundreds of thousands of years. Yet this spectacle obviously unfolded at least half a million years ago.
Standing out most strikingly to her and his gaze was the race of Majins. Precisely the same lineage that had bestowed upon him the Crown of Seven Seas.
'So they are the ancestors of the Majins.' Aditya felt certain about it.
Athena caught glimpses of numerous rapid images and hazy visions from bygone eras. She and Aditya absorbed various voices echoing in their thoughts. The barrage of sights and sounds surged so swiftly that an ordinary person's psyche would shatter in mere moments. Visions appeared of the crimson emperor's forces surging forward against foes.
Scenes showed the valiant King of Kings' soldiers obliterating demonic hordes.
Other flashes depicted the mighty Dragon King of Heaven and Earth's warriors crushing brutal clans.
Oddly, no depiction included the Emperor's own visage. Yet soon they realized they viewed these through the eyes of the Emperor himself, adorned with the Crown of Seven Seas.
"I would like to upgrade my Crown. Turn it into an almighty, powerful artefact that the world has never seen before. Can you do it?" Aditya and Athena watched the Emperor converse with a brown-skinned half-dwarf.
"Of course! As a blacksmith, it would be my honour to make something that is extremely powerful and turn this Crown into a mighty artefact that the world has never seen."
"You know that I am currently in possession of two of the four pearls. I want the Crown to have the strength and durability to harness the full strength of the pearls." At these words, both Aditya and Athena felt stunned. This revelation underscored the man's immense power and dominance in his era.
"Your Majesty, I apologise for saying this, but that might be impossible. Each of the pearls holds too much power."
"Surely, there must be a way."
"I will need time to research and find a way."
Suddenly, the vision shifted once more. A torrent of hundreds of scenes bombarded their vision. Amid these myriad images and the deluge of voices flooding their ears, they pieced together a broad sense of the era's timeline.
The Crimson Empire kept expanding and thriving. Witnessing this, Aditya nearly sensed echoes of the Istarin Empire. Altogether, the realm boasted a billion inhabitants. The whole Main Continent fell wholly under the Empire's dominion.
Next, they observed the identical dwarf forging the Crown relentlessly for days on end.
Some days afterward, the Crown's form had transformed, yielding the very iteration they now possessed.
"Your Majesty, I have succeeded."
"Crown will be able to harness the vast power of the two pearls by relying on five other special diamonds. Together there will be 7 stones on the Crown, which in my opinion makes the Crown look even more beautiful and magnificent; worthy of being called the Crown of the King of Kings."
"It has been nearly a hundred years. But you succeeded. I am very happy today."
"Now I just need to carefully place the Pearls onto the Crown, and this Peak 8th Artefact will be complete."
Yet catastrophe erupted before that could occur. Turmoil engulfed the entire Empire.
As the Dwarf labored on the Crown, one of his apprentices—a human—struck him fatally from behind. Concurrently, the battle-wounded Emperor rushed in to retrieve the pearls from the dwarf.
"Your Majesty!" The human grinned toward the Emperor. His tone and demeanor betrayed no dread of the ruler.
"You stabbed Liam!" The Emperor poised to slay this human, but pursuers overtook him, their blades and shafts striking his back and forcing him down.
"I am sorry to say this, but you are not the owner of the Pearls. These Pearls belong to my master and me. Without my master, I am the rightful owner." The human seized the Crown and Pearls from the slain Dwarf, then sneered mockingly at the Emperor.
"You might have wondered within just two days why everything suddenly changed."
"Let me tell you a secret. All these people who turned on work for me."
"I just needed to nudge them in the right direction, and greed took over. I mean, who wouldn't want to be the Next King of Kings, the Grand Emperor of Emperors?" Upon hearing this, the Crimson Emperor grasped the full truth. His comrade had allowed a viper into their midst, and now they suffered the consequences of their oversight.
The Emperor clenched his teeth and summoned his strength for a final surge.
"I don't know who you are, but I definitely know about your master. I won't allow you to destroy the world as your master did." Before the human could respond, his arms were cleaved off, and the Emperor escaped bearing the Crown and the stones.
By then, his Empire lay beyond redemption. Ruins dominated the landscape. Invaders had seized control. The Emperor rallied his surviving faithful followers. He entrusted the two pearls to separate factions, charging them to conceal the gems eternally in unreachable hiding spots.
In the end, the Emperor passed the Crown to his devoted Majin allies, commanding them to disappear alongside it.
Before any more revelations emerged, Athena crumpled to her knees.
Athena suffered intense vertigo. Blood trickled from her nose and eyes, for the Crown's antiquity overwhelmed her, taxing her mind and spirit excessively. Furthermore, connecting Aditya and sharing every detail amplified the burden on her psyche.
The toll of deciphering such an archaic relic proved staggeringly high. Despite siphoning his mana throughout, it fell short. Exhaustion claimed her fully, as it did Aditya. Worst, darkness clouded her sight, and she teetered on the brink of unconsciousness.
"Athena, are you alright?" Aditya himself heaved for breath. The ordeal had drained his mana reserves. Scarcely a few hundred points lingered within him.
Athena remained silent. Alarmed, he swiftly produced several superior potions and administered them to her. Moments later, her gaze sharpened slightly, fixing upon him.
"There is no need to continue using his ability" He discerned her disorientation and near-collapse from the overwhelming cerebral fatigue. Halting her now seemed wiser; persisting risked grave injury.
"Rest!" The emperor tenderly encircled her waist with his broad hand, drawing her to rest against his torso.
She shut her eyes and concentrated on mending herself. Such an embrace offered profound solace. Within his hold, slumber nearly overtook her.
"How are you feeling now? Do you want to continue or take a much longer break?" With the bone sphere, they could access this pocket realm at will. Yet her well-being took precedence now.
"Let me rest for another 10 minutes." The elder the artifact, the greater the cerebral toll it exacted. Coupled with the vast mana demands, even their merged reserves sustained the ability for nearly five seconds.
