Dragon Monarch System Chapter 966:- Lilith on the Receiving Side

Previously on Dragon Monarch System...
Lilith's playful antics upon Aditya's return caused a stir among the women, particularly frustrating Riya, who felt outmaneuvered. Amelia, Riya's mother, found herself in a familiar position of defeat against Lilith, despite their long-standing rivalry. Aditya then introduced his family to Alfred and his companions, revealing the presence of six goddesses. Rin, the goddess of music, exposed Lilith's poor teaching record at the Royal Academy, much to Lilith's embarrassment and Amelia's delight.

"Over 60% of the students in her history class failed the subject." Upon hearing this revelation, every gaze shifted toward Lilith. The Succubus Empress was suddenly overwhelmed by a profound sense of embarrassment.

She found herself unable to meet anyone's eyes. Driven by her own laziness, she had outsourced the creation of the exam paper to someone else, never imagining they would produce such a brutally difficult test. To make matters worse, the majority of the exam focused on topics that Lilith had either glossed over or completely ignored during her lectures.

While she acknowledged that her own negligence had led to this disaster, she was shocked that Rin had managed to uncover the truth.

Lilith hadn't even needed to visit the Royal Academy to learn the results; rumors had a way of finding her. Had the Principal not been aware of her true identity, she likely would have been dismissed from her position long ago.

'Curse it! I specifically threatened the principal to keep this from the Royal family,' Lilith thought, realizing she would have to return to the Academy for a stern conversation with the administration.

With few responsibilities, Rin had spent her time observing her sisters' daily routines. Although she had initially intended to accompany Lilith to the Royal Academy, her motivation had plummeted following Aditya's departure.

Consequently, she had ended up visiting the Royal Academy on her own accord.

Amelia, who had been searching for a way to get back at her rival, beamed with a predatory smile as her eyes sparkled with delight at Rin’s news.

Watching this reaction, a shiver of dread ran down Lilith’s spine.

The Elven Empress leaned casually against the wall, crossing her legs. Resting a hand on her thigh, she directed a mocking grin toward Rin.

"Honestly, did we expect anything different from Lilith?" Amelia remarked. Lilith shot her a fierce glare, but both Amelia and Riya were savoring every second of her discomfort.

It wasn't just those two; nearly every woman in the room was relishing the sight of Lilith being humbled. Even Clara, Aditya’s sister, hadn't been immune to Lilith’s relentless teasing. It had always seemed as though no one could get the upper hand against her.

Until now.

The group felt a wave of gratitude toward Rin for exposing the failure that Lilith had tried so desperately to conceal.

"Lilith has reached new levels of lethargy since Aditya left. She spends nearly the entire day asleep now." Her daily slumber averaged eighteen hours, sometimes stretching to twenty.

The only time she ever stirred—and usually not by her own choice—was to join the others for meals. There were even days she skipped eating entirely just to stay in bed. Her attendance record at the Academy since his departure was so pathetic that if Aditya found out, he would surely suggest she retire and let a professional handle the job.

"I'm convinced Lilith just slept at the Royal Academy instead of teaching. She probably told her students to go study by themselves so they wouldn't wake her up."

"Hey, that isn't true!" Lilith snapped in her own defense. While she admitted to taking breaks and assigning self-study, she refused to admit she was sleeping on the job.

'At most, I was just resting my eyes. That doesn't count as sleeping,' she told herself, though even she didn't believe the excuse.

"If that's the case, how do you explain your class's grades?" Amelia challenged. Lilith remained silent, unable to find a retort.

"You had some of the brightest minds in the Academy in your classroom, yet you failed to help them pass because you couldn't be bothered to do your job." Lilith’s face flushed with deeper shame.

She had only taken the teaching position because everyone else in the Dragon Palace had duties or roles to fill. Being the only one with nothing to do, she had followed Aditya's suggestion to become an educator.

However, she had come to regret that decision within a single week. Dealing with rowdy students was exhausting, and a few of them even had the audacity to harbor
