Andris reveals his ambition to become Aditya's teacher, which Aditya's parents had previously denied due to his ulterior motives. Aditya confronts Andris, who acknowledges Aditya's growth and immense power. Despite their past connection, Andris declares his unwavering loyalty to the Emperor and prepares to fight Aditya, who reciprocates the sentiment, acknowledging their roles as enemies.

Malakor Harrington thought to himself as he suddenly sensed another powerful presence on the battlefield.

He immediately turned his attention toward Aditya’s direction. When he looked over, he saw his grandson floating in the air, facing a man whose cultivation had already reached the Beginner Seventh Order.

Malakor narrowed his eyes slightly when he recognised the man. It was Andris, one of the Thirteen National Treasures of the Celestial Dragon Empire.

Although Malakor had expected Ren to send powerful cultivators to participate in this war, he had not expected another Seventh Order cultivator to appear at this particular moment.

After all, the Emperor Faction had already suffered a terrible defeat. Its soldiers were retreating, its backline had been almost completely destroyed, and Aditya had personally killed an enormous number of enemy troops.

Under such circumstances, Malakor had assumed that Ren would focus on protecting his remaining soldiers rather than sending another powerful cultivator to confront Aditya.

However, it seemed that Ren had other plans.

Seeing Andris standing opposite Aditya, Malakor could not help feeling slightly worried. He knew that his grandson was extremely powerful. In fact, Aditya’s strength was far beyond what an ordinary Beginner Sixth Order cultivator should possess.

However, there was still an enormous difference between the Sixth Order and Seventh Order.

Even though Aditya possessed many powerful abilities, facing a Seventh Order cultivator was not something that could be taken lightly.

Andris was especially dangerous because of his terrifying physical strength. Among the Thirteen National Treasures, he was widely known for his brutal fighting style and his ability to overpower his opponents through close combat.

Nevertheless, Malakor did not believe that the situation had gone completely out of their control. On the contrary, he was still confident that the Anti-Emperor Faction held the advantage.

After all, Aditya was not alone. Malakor himself was a Seventh Order cultivator, and Lou Han was also present on the battlefield. As long as they were nearby, they would never allow the enemy to attack Aditya without interference.

With this thought in mind, Malakor secretly turned his head toward Lou Han. Interestingly, Lou Han was already looking in his direction.

The moment their eyes met, both men immediately understood what the other was thinking. Neither of them needed to say anything. They had already reached the same conclusion. If Andris truly intended to fight Aditya, then they would no longer remain on the sidelines.

Until now, Malakor and Lou Han had been careful about how much they participated in the battle. They understood that once several Seventh Order cultivators began fighting seriously, the entire battlefield would become extremely dangerous.

However, if the Emperor Faction was willing to send another Seventh Order cultivator to attack Aditya, then the Anti-Emperor Faction had no reason to continue holding back.

Malakor thought to himself.

Lou Han appeared equally prepared. Although neither man moved immediately, both had already begun paying close attention to Andris. If the situation became dangerous for Aditya, they were prepared to intervene without hesitation.

At that point, the battle would no longer be a simple confrontation between two powerful cultivators. It would become an all-out battle involving several Seventh Order cultivators from both factions.

And the destruction caused by such a battle would be far greater than anything the ordinary soldiers had witnessed so far.

Meanwhile, Aditya was also fully aware of the danger. Although he was confident in his own strength, he understood that fighting Andris would be completely different from slaughtering ordinary soldiers.

Furthermore, if the other Seventh Order cultivators decided to participate, the surrounding area would quickly become too dangerous for anyone below their cultivation level. Aditya briefly looked toward the soldiers who were still present on the battlefield.

Although the Anti-Emperor Faction’s troops had already withdrawn from the front lines following his earlier command, many of them were still close enough to be affected by a serious battle between Seventh Order cultivators.

This was something Aditya could not allow. After all, the destructive power of a Seventh Order cultivator was simply enormous. Even a casual attack from someone at that level could destroy a large area. If two or more Seventh Order cultivators fought without holding back, the shockwaves from their attacks alone could cause devastating damage to the surrounding land.

And if ordinary soldiers happened to be standing nearby, they would have almost no chance of surviving. They would not even need to be directly targeted.

A powerful explosion, a sudden release of mana, or the shockwave from two attacks colliding could easily kill hundreds or even thousands of weaker soldiers who were unfortunate enough to be caught within its range.

The difference in strength was simply too great. Realizing this, Aditya decided that it was time to completely withdraw his troops from the battlefield.

He immediately used his mana to amplify his voice, allowing his words to spread across the entire Northern Grassy Plains.

"ALL TROOPS OF THE ANTI-EMPEROR FACTION, LISTEN TO MY COMMAND!"

His powerful voice immediately attracted the attention of the soldiers below. Even those who had been busy helping their injured companions stopped what they were doing for a moment and raised their heads.

"FALL BACK IMMEDIATELY! THE FIRST BATTLE IS OVER!"

Aditya paused briefly before continuing. "THE NEXT PHASE OF THIS BATTLE WILL BE FOUGHT BETWEEN SEVENTH ORDER CULTIVATORS!"

Hearing those words, many soldiers were immediately shocked. Although they had already noticed the powerful auras appearing on the battlefield, they had not expected the situation to develop into a direct confrontation between Seventh Order cultivators.

However, Aditya had not finished speaking. "UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET CAUGHT IN THE SHOCKWAVES OF OUR ATTACKS, I SUGGEST YOU—"

Aditya suddenly stopped himself. His expression became serious as he corrected his words. "NO! I ORDER ALL OF YOU TO FALL BACK IMMEDIATELY! GET AS FAR AWAY FROM THE BATTLEFIELD AS POSSIBLE!"

His voice carried absolute authority. "DO NOT REMAIN HERE TO WATCH! DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARTICIPATE! LEAVE THIS BATTLE TO US!"

Aditya knew that some soldiers might be tempted to remain nearby and watch the fight between Seventh Order cultivators. After all, witnessing such powerful individuals fight was an extremely rare opportunity.

However, he had no intention of allowing his soldiers to risk their lives simply because they wanted to watch. A battle at this level was not something ordinary cultivators could safely observe from a short distance.

Even the strongest soldiers in his army would be in serious danger if they remained too close. Furthermore, Aditya did not want to divide his attention between fighting Andris and protecting his own troops.

If the Anti-Emperor Faction’s soldiers remained nearby, he and the other Seventh Order cultivators would have to worry about accidentally injuring their allies. That would only place them at a disadvantage.

By ordering everyone to withdraw, Aditya was making sure that the strongest cultivators on his side could fight without worrying about the safety of their own soldiers. As his command spread across the Northern Grassy Plains, the Anti-Emperor Faction’s officers immediately began organising their troops.

They understood the seriousness of the situation. Although many soldiers were still exhausted from the earlier fighting, they did not dare to delay their withdrawal. After all, their Emperor had personally ordered them to leave.

Meanwhile, Malakor Harrington heard Aditya’s command and nodded slightly. He completely agreed with his grandson’s decision. The first battle had already ended in their favor. There was no reason to risk losing thousands of additional soldiers simply because a few powerful cultivators wanted to settle their differences.

Now that the ordinary troops were being ordered away, the Seventh Order cultivators would have much greater freedom to use their abilities.

Just as Lou Han was preparing himself to intervene if the situation became dangerous, Aditya’s voice suddenly appeared directly inside his mind.

Hearing Aditya’s voice, Lou Han was momentarily stunned. He had not expected his master to suddenly communicate with him through their mental link. As far as Lou Han knew, his master had not possessed such an ability in the past.

This was why hearing Aditya’s voice inside his mind came as such a surprise.

Lou Han wondered.

He knew that Aditya had grown considerably stronger over the past few months. His cultivation had improved, his physical abilities had reached an unbelievable level, and he had gained several new powers.

However, Lou Han had not expected his master to develop an ability like this as well.

After all, directly communicating with someone through a mental connection was completely different from ordinary communication. It allowed Aditya to send his thoughts to his subordinates without speaking aloud, making it possible to issue private commands even in the middle of a battle.

Furthermore, their enemies would have no way of knowing what was being discussed. Lou Han quickly recovered from his surprise and turned his attention toward Aditya, who was still floating in the air opposite Andris.

Although he understood his master’s confidence, he could not help feeling slightly concerned. Andris was a Beginner Seventh Order cultivator, and the difference between the Sixth Order and Seventh Order was enormous. Even though Aditya possessed incredible strength, Lou Han knew that fighting someone at Andris’s level would not be easy.

However, Aditya’s words also made sense. His teleportation ability gave him an enormous advantage. Unlike ordinary cultivators, who might find themselves trapped after making a mistake, Aditya could instantly move away from danger as long as he was still capable of activating his ability.

This made him much more difficult to defeat. Furthermore, Lou Han understood that Aditya was not someone who would blindly rush into a battle without considering the risks. If his master was confident enough to face Andris alone, then he must have his own reasons.

Lou Han finally replied through their mental connection.

Aditya replied calmly.

Hearing those words, Lou Han could only sigh inwardly. He had already realised that his master had no intention of backing down from this fight. Nevertheless, Lou Han decided to respect Aditya’s wishes.
