Dragon Monarch System Chapter 1234:- The Goddess of War

Meanwhile, at the front lines of the Anti-Emperor Faction’s army, Freya, the Goddess of War, had already entered the battlefield. Unlike the other military commanders who remained behind their soldiers to direct their movements, Freya had chosen to personally lead the charge.
The moment the two armies began clashing, she rushed forward without the slightest hesitation, leaving even the fastest soldiers of the Anti-Emperor Faction behind.
In her hands were two sharp katanas made from special ore, one held firmly in each hand. Their blades reflected the sunlight as she charged toward the densely packed formations of the Emperor Faction.
Freya’s movements were extraordinarily fast. Even among the thousands of cultivators fighting on the front lines, very few could follow her movements with their eyes. By the time an enemy soldier noticed her approaching, she had often already closed the distance and swung one of her katanas.
With a single horizontal swing of her right katana, Freya cut through the armour of a Fifth Order cultivator standing directly in her path. The soldier had barely managed to raise his sword to defend himself when both his weapon and armour were sliced apart.
Before his body could even fall to the ground, Freya had already moved past him. Another soldier attempted to attack her from the left with a spear, aiming directly at her exposed side. However, Freya did not even bother turning her entire body toward him. She simply twisted her left wrist and swung her second katana.
The spear was instantly severed, and the katana continued forward without losing any momentum, cutting through the soldier’s armour and body.
Freya continued advancing. Her two katanas moved almost continuously, cutting through anything that entered their range. Whether it was an enemy’s sword, spear, armour, defensive spell, or mana barrier, nothing seemed capable of stopping her blades.
The difference in strength between Freya and her opponents was simply too enormous. Despite being a Peak 6th-order cultivator, Freya’s strength rivalled 7th-order cultivators. So against someone like her, there was no way anyone could stop her.
Whenever an enemy attempted to block her attacks with a weapon, that weapon was immediately cut apart. Whenever someone activated a defensive barrier, her katana sliced through it before the cultivator could even react. Even the thick armor worn by some of the Fifth Order soldiers offered little protection against her attacks.
It was almost as if she were cutting through butter with a heated knife. And the most terrifying part was that Freya showed absolutely no signs of slowing down. With each passing second, she advanced deeper into the Emperor Faction’s formations, leaving behind a growing number of fallen soldiers.
Her movements were not random, despite how violent and relentless her attacks appeared. Every swing of her katanas was precise, and every movement of her body allowed her to maintain her momentum while avoiding the attacks directed toward her. Whenever an enemy approached from her right, her right katana would immediately intercept him. If another soldier attempted to attack from her left, her second blade would cut him down before he could get close enough to strike.
Even when multiple enemies attacked her simultaneously, Freya did not retreat. Instead, she accelerated.
Her two katanas flashed repeatedly as she moved through the enemy ranks. Three soldiers standing directly ahead of her attempted to stop her advance by raising their shields and forming a defensive line. All three were Fifth Order cultivators, and their shields had been reinforced with defensive formations.
However, Freya did not bother changing direction. She swung both katanas in quick succession.
The first slash shattered the defensive barriers protecting the soldiers, while the second cut through their shields and armor. Within an instant, all three soldiers collapsed, and Freya passed through the opening they had been guarding.
A few meters ahead, a group of Fourth Order cultivators immediately began casting spells upon noticing her approach. Several fireballs and lightning bolts were launched directly toward her.
Freya’s expression remained unchanged. Instead of slowing down or attempting to dodge every spell individually, she continued charging forward while swinging her katanas.
The incoming spells were sliced apart before they could reach her body. The fireballs exploded harmlessly to either side, while the lightning attacks dispersed after being struck by her blades.
Before the mages could prepare another round of spells, Freya had already reached them. A series of swift slashes followed, and the entire group was cut down within seconds. Their heads were severed by the impact of her katana, sending the severed heads flying into the crowd of soldiers.
By this point, Freya had completely entered a berserk-like state. Her attention was focused entirely on the enemies standing before her. She did not waste time observing the larger battlefield or worrying about the soldiers fighting behind her.
Her immediate objective was simple: break through the enemy’s front lines and eliminate anyone who attempted to stop her. With her extraordinary speed and overwhelming offensive power, she was accomplishing that objective at a frightening pace. Anything that entered a radius of two to three meters around her was immediately cut down.
Enemy soldiers barely had enough time to recognise the danger before one of her katanas reached them. Those who attempted to retreat were often too slow to escape, while those who tried to fight back discovered that their attacks could not keep up with her movements.
Some soldiers attempted to surround her, believing that attacking from multiple directions would finally force her to stop. However, that only made them easier targets.
Freya could switch between attacking with her left and right katana almost instantaneously. Her movements flowed naturally from one attack into the next, allowing her to strike enemies approaching from different directions without interrupting her advance.
When a soldier attacked from behind, she shifted her body slightly and swung her left katana backwards, cutting through his weapon before he could complete his attack.
At the same moment, her right katana struck down another soldier approaching from the front. She then took another step forward, avoiding a spear thrust from her right before cutting down its wielder.
This entire exchange lasted less than a second. And throughout all of this, not a single enemy soldier managed to land a successful strike on her. It was not that the soldiers were unwilling to fight. Many of them were experienced cultivators who had participated in numerous battles before the civil war. Some were even Fifth Order cultivators who held respectable positions within their respective military units.
However, against Freya, their experience and cultivation were simply not enough. Her speed was too great, her reactions were too sharp, and the power behind her katanas was far beyond what their defences could withstand. Even when dozens of soldiers attempted to attack her simultaneously, she moved through their formations without suffering a single injury.
From a distance, Freya appeared almost like a blur moving through the Emperor Faction’s army. Wherever she passed, soldiers collapsed one after another, and the defensive formations that had been established to hold back the Anti-Emperor Faction’s advance were quickly torn apart.
The soldiers fighting behind Freya could hardly believe what they were witnessing. While the rest of the Anti-Emperor Faction’s front-line troops were still engaged in fierce combat against the Emperor Faction’s first defensive formations, Freya had already broken through them.
She was the first to penetrate the enemy’s front lines, and rather than stopping to consolidate her position, she continued charging deeper into their army.
Her advance created a narrow but rapidly expanding opening in the enemy’s formation. The soldiers who had been standing in her path were either killed or forced to move aside, while those behind them struggled to understand what was happening.
An officer from the Emperor Faction shouted desperately after noticing the destruction Freya was causing.
Several nearby soldiers immediately rushed toward her, attempting to block her path with their weapons and defensive spells. However, their efforts accomplished very little.
Freya swung her right katana, cutting through the first soldier’s weapon and armor.
Her left katana followed immediately, cutting down two more soldiers who had approached from the opposite direction. Without stopping, she stepped forward and delivered another series of rapid slashes, eliminating the remaining soldiers attempting to block her path.
The entire group was defeated before their commander could issue another order. Freya did not even spare them a second glance. She simply continued moving forward.
By now, only a few minutes had passed since she had entered the enemy’s front lines, yet she had already personally killed more than five hundred soldiers, with the number rapidly approaching six hundred.
And that number continued increasing with every passing second. What made her performance even more terrifying was that she had accomplished all of this without receiving a single injury.
Not one sword had touched her body. Not one spear had managed to pierce her defenses. Even the numerous spells launched in her direction had failed to stop her advance. Her two katanas continued flashing through the air as she moved deeper into the Emperor Faction’s army, cutting down enemies from the left, right, and directly ahead of her.
The surrounding soldiers were beginning to realise that the woman charging through their formations was not someone they could defeat through ordinary means. Yet with hundreds of thousands of soldiers participating in the battle, there was no shortage of enemies standing in Freya’s path.
And Freya had absolutely no intention of stopping. As the Goddess of War, she was completely in her element.
The battlefield was the domain of the Goddess of War!
