Victor confronted Aditya at a funeral, mocking him and vowing to make him suffer by killing his loved ones. Aditya, enraged but limited by his current cultivation, could only watch as Victor left, promising to wait for him. Duke Cassian also revealed his brother's death was orchestrated by a mysterious organization, leaving Aditya to grapple with his weakness and thirst for revenge.

Aditya Bainnith gazed at the skulls for a sustained period before he knelt, carefully placing each one into his storage ring.

"I still can't fathom why Victor despises Aditya to such an extent," Rin voiced her confusion aloud.

"Some time ago, I eliminated several disciples from the Night Rider Sect. They were acting arrogantly and disrespectfully within my own Dragon Palace. It's possible one of those disciples shared a very close bond with Victor."

"Actually, as I understand it, Victor is an Elder within the Night Rider Sect. However, despite holding such a position, he has never taken any disciples. He might be the sole Elder I've encountered who has never accepted a student," replied not Duke Cassian, but Aditya’s uncle, Wahid Harrington.

Aditya observed as Wahid advanced, walking towards him.

"My dear nephew, the reason I'm privy to this information about Victor is that, among all Elders across every Cultivation Sect, he presents the most formidable examination. Only those who conquer this trial are deemed worthy of becoming his disciple. Yet, this exam is practically insurmountable."

Both Aditya and Athena exchanged surprised glances. They had previously assumed Victor harbored resentment because Aditya had dispatched some Night Rider Sect disciples. It turned out the man had no students whatsoever.

"At best, he diligently fulfills his duties as a Sect Elder. He occasionally imparts cultivation advice to the general disciples. Sometimes, he undertakes missions, either accompanied by disciples or alone. The sole reason he attained the status of Sect Elder is his achievement of reaching the Peak 7th-order."

"Grandpa, do you possess any knowledge?" Aditya inquired, directing his gaze towards his two grandfathers.

"In my era, the Night Rider Sect did not exist in its current form. It emerged from the remnants of an Empire known as the Lunar Empire. Within that Empire, the most potent individuals covertly established an organization named the Night Walker. Their objective was straightforward yet perilous: to govern the entire Empire from the shadows, unnoticed by anyone."

"By the time the final Emperor of the Lunar Empire ascended to the throne, the situation had already begun to unravel. Following a protracted and draining conflict against the Chimera Shadow Sect, the Emperor was left weakened and susceptible. The war had raged for 208 years, depleting the Empire's vitality and resources. To sustain the fight, the Emperor was compelled to secure substantial loans from us and other neighboring allies. By then, the Empire was indeed teetering on the brink."

"At its nadir of strength, everything culminated in a single night. The Empire crumbled from within. What supplanted it was no longer an Empire, but the Night Walker organization, subsequently rebranding itself as the Night Rider Sect."

"Victor was not one of its original progenitors," Boris conveyed the history of the Night Rider Sect to Aditya.

"Periodically, the sect dispatches its disciples to assail specific Kingdoms or Empires across the Six Continents, primarily to plunder resources and also to hone the skills of their younger disciples. " It was at this moment that Aditya finally comprehended the reason behind the Night Rider Sect's destruction of Lara’s homeland.

Aditya carried a profound and agonizing history with this particular Sect. His inaugural encounter with them was an event he could never erase from his memory. It marked the moment he discovered that his wife's parents, along with countless others, had been brutally slain, and the entirety of the Great Starry Sky Empire had been annihilated by their hands. That was the genesis of everything.

Subsequently, circumstances only deteriorated further. Disciples from the Sect sought him out, not for any substantial reason, but merely to inflict humiliation. They treated him with utter disdain, viewing him as insignificant. His response was to ensure all but one of them met their demise.

And now, the situation had escalated to this critical juncture. One of their Elders had apprehended and subjected fifty-nine of his soldiers to a torturous death, exhibiting no trace of mercy. This transcended a mere past grievance or a distant conflict; it had become deeply personal.

The debt of blood and humiliation demanded retribution in kind.

"We shall depart for now. Ensure you arrive after sunset tonight." The group then utilized teleportation, arriving at the Harrington family's mansion. It was an impressively vast estate.

The sheer scale of the mansion was nearly double that of the William family's residence.

Aditya lacked the inclination to inspect every detail.

"Aditya, take some time to rest," Harrington advised, sensing his grandson's need for solitude. The only individuals capable of providing true solace at this juncture were the women in his life.

"I shall summon you to the living room shortly."

Harrington then summoned a maid.

"Escort my grandson to his chambers." Words fall short of expressing the immense happiness and joy encapsulated within that simple directive. After such a lengthy separation, Harrington had finally been reunited with his grandson and brought him back home.

Aditya looked towards Harrington as he heard these words.

"Yes, this is precisely the same bedroom where you stayed during your previous visits and overnight stays." Even after so many years had passed, Harrington had maintained a strict policy of forbidding anyone from occupying that particular bedroom. The only individuals permitted entry were those tasked with its cleaning and the changing of bed linens.

"Grandpa, I have a request to make."

Upon hearing his grandson finally voice a request, Harrington was filled with immense joy.

"You may ask for anything, my boy." Harrington presumed Aditya sought something to enhance his comfort during his stay.

However, Aditya's intentions were far from mundane, especially at this critical juncture.

"I wish for you to arrange for the return of all my soldiers' remains to my empire. I cannot dispatch Alfred for this task, as his presence is required here for the subsequent phase of our plan." The most pressing matter, in Aditya's view, was ensuring his soldiers received a proper burial.

Instead of merely storing their skulls within his storage ring, it was far more honorable to grant them a dignified send-off and officially notify their families of their tragic fates.

"Certainly, I shall dispatch my most dependable associate to oversee this solemn duty."

"In that case, I shall also draft a letter to my Prime Minister, outlining the necessary actions he must undertake in my absence."

Aditya was determined to ensure that the families of the fallen soldiers would be adequately provided for. To him, mere monetary compensation, whether a few hundred or a few thousand gold coins, would be utterly insignificant when weighed against the magnitude of their sacrifice. He envisioned a provision far more substantial.

His aim was for each family to receive an abundance of wealth, sufficient to alleviate financial worries for the ensuing five centuries. This, in his mind, transcended simple compensation; it represented a lifelong security, a means to guarantee that the families left behind would never face hardship due to their profound loss. He desired for them to live lives of dignity, unburdened by future anxieties.

Concurrently, he resolved that the entire Empire should formally recognize their ultimate sacrifice. His plan included the proclamation of a day of mourning throughout the realm, dedicated to honoring the memory of the fallen warriors.

"Furthermore, I require one additional matter to be addressed."

"Proceed," Harrington responded, though a sense of premonition suggested he already had an inkling of his grandson's next request.

"I need comprehensive intelligence regarding the Night Rider Sect."

"While I possess foundational knowledge of the Sect, my inquiry extends beyond that. What I seek now is far more detailed and actionable intelligence."

"I require precise details concerning the Sect's primary base of operations – their headquarters and the structural organization of their territory. Additionally, I need exhaustive information on their defensive fortifications, including their operational mechanisms and assessed strength."

"Most crucially, I demand complete profiles of every significant powerhouse within the Sect: their individual strengths, designated roles, and overall capabilities. I must have an exact understanding of who we are confronting." In essence, Aditya needed an all-encompassing dossier on the sect.

"Consider it done." The Harrington faction boasted a formidable intelligence apparatus, operating independently of the Emperor's own network.

Moreover, Harrington himself had personally visited the Sect's domain some millennia ago, during an incident where a disciple attempted to harass Aditya's mother. Thus, he possessed an intimate familiarity with the location.

If deemed necessary, he was even prepared to undertake a personal journey to the Sect's stronghold to procure the most accurate and up-to-date intelligence for his grandson.

"If your intention is to launch an assault on their territory, you cannot undertake such a venture alone." Following the funeral rites, the fiercely determined Harrington felt an insatiable urge for direct engagement, not merely skirmishes, but a complete annihilation of certain individuals.

"For the present, our focus will remain on tonight's strategic meeting. As for the Sect, I shall address them at a later juncture." Aditya acknowledged that the ultimate decision regarding the commencement and execution of the civil war, including the initial moves and timing, rested beyond his sole authority. However, the discussion of potential strategies against the Emperor during the scheduled meeting remained a viable course of action.

My sincere gratitude extends to all who have offered their support through valuable golden tickets and gifts. I trust we can maintain this momentum!

At present, I will be releasing one or two chapters. Last month, I managed to publish 44 chapters, which has left me feeling somewhat mentally depleted. From tomorrow onwards, we shall revert to our established schedule.

Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated.
