Rin briefly loses sight of Aditya in the disorienting purple fog of the Dragon Mountain Range, heightening her fear. Aditya reunites with her, Athena, and Laura after scouting a beast, then teleports them from a horde of Peak 6th-order Lightning Lions to a cave. Inside, they meet John Pedro, a disheveled mid-seventh-order cultivator trapped for thousands of years, who admits to killing stranded cultivators for resources amid piles of skeletons and now demands their aid to escape.

"It’s John Pedro."

"Which Empire or Sect are you from?"

"I am a core disciple of the Night Rider Sect." Truth be told, he seemed more like a former core disciple of the Night Rider Sect. From Aditya’s perspective, had the Sect truly valued him, they would have dispatched rescuers in the initial days.

"Then why hasn’t your Night Rider Sect sent anyone to save you?" Cultivators at 7th-order from outside remained unaffected by the purple fog; by now, an elder should have arrived for his rescue.

"Even I don’t know the answer to that." John Pedro himself appeared puzzled.

"I’ll uncover that truth eventually, but for now, assist me in escaping this forsaken place." His tone sharpened into icy command at the end.

The flare of his Aura and commanding voice made it clear he wouldn’t accept refusal.

"And if I refuse?" Aditya never yielded easily.

"Then I’ll begin with those three stunning women." Aditya grasped his implication perfectly. Confined here for millennia, this man harbored pent-up urges from endless years of isolation.

"Fine! I’ll teleport you out from here. But I must place my hands on your shoulders first." Confronted with his deepest craving—freedom from this nightmare—John Pedro harbored no doubts about Aditya. His overwhelming power bolstered his assurance; any trickery from Aditya would end in instant death before escape.

Pedro simply approached Aditya, resting his hand on Aditya’s shoulders.

A searing pain stabbed Aditya’s right shoulder. He sensed his shoulder bones had fractured. Glancing at Pedro, he received only a ferocious grin in return.

That pain served as a stark warning: any mischief meant immediate death.

"You girls, stay put here." With those words, Aditya and Pedro vanished.

Following the initial teleport, Aditya executed a second one.

Before Pedro could question it.

"I’m limited to short-range teleports. Relax, just 7 more jumps and we’ll hit the exit."

Noting Aditya’s apparent honesty and lack of treachery, the arrogant Pedro, supremely confident in retaliating later, relaxed his vigilance.

Yet Aditya stretched it to 10 teleports instead of 7. On the tenth, they materialized in the Lightning Lions’ lair, surrounded by several Beginner 7th-order lions.

Their leader was a Peak 7th-order powerhouse.

Upon arrival, the Lightning Lions lounged lazily with eyes shut, while others frolicked with cubs.

Aditya teleported away before Pedro could seize him—just 10 meters distant, rendering him invisible to Pedro’s sight.

Sadly, Pedro’s vision barely pierced a few meters amid the fog, blinding him to the glaring Lightning Lions.

"You dared threaten my women."

"Did you believe I’d simply whisk you from this Prison unscathed?"

"Plus, your Sect and I share ancient grudges."

Pedro finally grasped the deception, rage boiling within him.

"You filthy Bastard!!!"

"Should I break free, I’ll track you and slaughter you myself." The fog concealed the beasts encircling him; he couldn’t detect their numbers or positions.

"I doubt you’ll live to see tomorrow," Aditya shot back coldly.

"I’d relish ripping your limbs and heart out personally. But today’s mission calls. My allies, the Lightning Lion clan, will gladly finish you for me."

Aditya vanished in a flash.

Instantly, Lightning Lions unleashed a barrage of assaults on Pedro, who couldn’t even spot their origins.

Aditya paused at the echoes of Pedro’s agonized roars, smirking triumphantly before vanishing once more.

Returning, he found the girls clutching oversized, coconut-like fruits glowing in soft purple light.

"What are these?" Aditya had never encountered such fruits.

"These rare magic fruits thrive solely in the Dragon Mountain Range. The purple fog has tinted them violet."

"Known as Violet Spirit Fruit."

"They can mildly boost the cultivation of 5th-order cultivators." Aditya’s eyes widened in shock. For 5th-order cultivators, this fruit was extraordinarily scarce and precious.

"To give you a clear picture, this fruit is incredibly scarce, with demand for this magic fruit so intense in the market that certain 7th-order cultivators endanger their lives by venturing into the Dragon Mountain Range just to hunt them down."

"It takes these fruits 100 years to ripen." A single Violet Spirit Fruit can fetch prices soaring up to 10 million Platinum coins.

"Aditya, you ought to eat several of these. Your cultivation will surge rapidly to Mid 5th-order, or perhaps even Peak 5th-order." Right now, Aditya urgently required a swift boost in his cultivation. This would equip him much better to confront those Higher Order cultivators.

"I plan to. How many of these fruits did you all discover here?"

"Nearly 200."

"That’s an astonishing amount." Aditya felt immense shock.

"My guess is Pedro gathered all these fruits from the cultivators he slaughtered. Yet they hold no value for 7th-order cultivators. So he simply hoarded them away in his cave."

"Moreover, even inside the Dragon Mountain Range, these fruits remain scarce. I’m truly amazed Pedro collected almost 200."

Aditya stored every Violet Spirit Fruit into his storage rings. Rin had no need for them since she teetered on the edge of breakthrough. Even Laura had hit Peak 5th-order and could pass on them.

Within their group, Aditya stood to gain the greatest advantages from devouring these magic fruits.

Yet for Aditya himself, these fruits weren’t necessary. However, his women and subordinates could reap tremendous benefits from them.

Still, he could leverage these fruits as a cover to gradually elevate his cultivation to Mid 5th-order and ultimately Peak 5th-order.

’Starting tonight, I’ll incrementally boost my cultivation a few levels each night, reaching Mid 5th-order after a week.’

"What happened to Pedro?" Athena inquired with a grin. Familiar with his nature, she knew he wouldn’t simply release Pedro from the Dragon Mountain Range.

"I sent him straight to the heart of the Lightning Lion den." Previously, Lightning Lions had pursued them for nearing their den too closely.

"He’s probably dead by now, his body devoured by the Lightning Lion cubs."

"He deserved it." Sympathy for him was absent from everyone.

"Let’s press on." Seizing the girls, Aditya dashed toward the Dragon Mountain Range’s core using brief teleportations. Along the way, they encountered more ensnared cultivators, though these proved the fortunate ones.

Notably, every trapped cultivator mirrored Pedro’s frenzied state. Trapped for endless years, they adapted into brutal savages for survival, while the unadapted perished.

Skeletons of fallen cultivators outnumbered the living by far. This held logic, as Magic Animals pierced the purple fog with perfect clarity.

Cultivators, however, could not.

Thus, regardless of their might, blindness rendered their strength and perceptions worthless.

They also faced magic animals vastly more ferocious and potent than Pedro. Yet rapid short-range teleportations let them evade swiftly from those domains.

Those mighty beasts ignored pursuing feeble cultivators merely traversing their lands. Had Aditya lingered beyond a second, trouble might have ensued.

In another stroke of luck, the group located 11 additional Violet Spirit Fruits, pushing their haul to 205 total.

Guided by the markers and guidance from his father, Aditya forged ahead.

His father described a tiny 1-meter temple statue nestled between two mountain peaks amid dense bushes.

To outsiders, it appeared as an ordinary gray Dragon Statue. But bearers of Celestial Dragon Empire’s Royal Blood needed only a drop of blood to unlock the Pocket Dimension housing Boris’s slumber.

"Dad mentioned that this Pocket Dimension holds most Elders and past Emperors of the Celestial Dragon Empire in deep sleep. So upon entry, we must tread lightly to avoid rousing them. Our goal is solely to reach my grandfather’s tomb and awaken him."
