Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 4 Dimension of Time

Max skillfully dispatched a group of goblins, showcasing his combat prowess and swiftly collecting their cores. Despite exhausting his mana and relying on his physical skills, he claimed seven goblin cores, igniting frustration among his fellow students. Known as the Overlord at the academy, Max's dominance was palpable, yet whispers of rivalry emerged as Carl plotted to undermine him by aligning with another powerful student, William. After leveling up to Novice Rank 1, Max discovered the potential of his second class skill, Dimension of Time, activating it and finding himself in a surreal realm of clouds, alongside a mysterious wooden door that appeared before him.

'I understand now; only my consciousness has been transported here. My physical form remains exactly where I stood before activating the Dimension of Time,' Max contemplated, absorbing the realization.

Based on the information he gathered, this realm served as a gateway to various dimensions. At his current level, however, he was unable to physically cross over and could only project his soul into this space.

'This implies that the wooden door before me is the entrance to the Dimension of Time,' Max concluded, observing the lone structure standing amidst the endless sea of clouds.

'Since this place originated from my class, exploring it shouldn't be dangerous.' With that thought, he pushed the door open and entered.

The door shut behind him of its own accord. Max found himself inside a colossal chamber with no detectable boundaries. The environment was an infinite, blinding void of pure white.

'What kind of place is this?' Max questioned, scanning the strange, empty landscape.

Suddenly, a new torrent of knowledge flooded his mind, explaining the true function of the Dimension of Time.

"I’m not certain if this will work, but I have nothing to lose by attempting it," Max whispered. He extended his right hand and began a slow, clockwise rotation. In response, a shimmering holographic clock materialized in the white void above, its hands whirring at a frantic pace. After a few seconds, the spinning ceased.

Max paused, his eyes landing on the notification that had emerged just as the motion stopped.

[Dimension of Time has been set to the first stage.]

[First Stage: 1hr = 1 year.]

'1 hour equals 1 year?' Max was stunned by the message. The implications were immediately clear to him. A full year spent within this Dimension of Time would only equate to a single hour passing in the outside world. The ratio was staggering: one hour of real-time was a whole year in this realm.

"This is… Godlike!" Max exclaimed, in awe of the skill's sheer utility. He had never heard of an ability so broken. It far exceeded any expectations he had when he first triggered the Dimension of Time.

"Doesn’t this mean I can practice here for years while only a few hours slip by in reality?" Max was gripped by the potential of the situation and felt an urgent desire to test it.

Briefly closing his eyes, he checked the status of the dungeon. The narrow corridor remained peaceful. No new goblins had appeared, and the other six students were still waiting for him to move.

'It looks like they are counting on me to lead them out,' Max noted, watching them. 'This is perfect. I can make good use of this window of time.'

With his plan set, Max summoned his status window to examine the Magic Bullet skill.

---

[Magic Bullets]

–Rank: [Common]

–Level: 1

–Description: The skill allows the user to conjure and fire basic projectiles made of pure magical energy.

---

'Level 1?' Max mused, seeing that the skill had progressed from level 0. 'At this level, I can only discharge one magic bullet at a time. Reaching level 2 will grant me two bullets, level 3 will grant three, and so forth… But leveling up doesn't just increase the quantity; it boosts the destructive power as well.'

He was well aware of this, yet he also knew that for a hunter, raising a skill’s level was a monumental task. Most hunters dedicated more effort to honing their skills than they did to actually clearing dungeons or leveling up their base stats.

'Mastery is the key to leveling a skill. You have to grasp its internal logic and mechanics, which usually takes an immense amount of time,' Max thought. He decided to conduct an experiment.

Assuming a firing stance with his right hand, Max activated Magic Bullet.

A tiny orb of blue light ignited at the tip of his index finger before streaking across the infinite white void like a physical round.

"I was right!" Max cheered, his theory confirmed. "I can spam skills here without limits! Because I am in soul form rather than my physical body, I can use any ability repeatedly without draining my mana."

His eyes widened as the full realization hit him. "Doesn’t that make this the ultimate training ground for my skills?"

By using a skill over and over, one could eventually decode its mechanics, leading to mastery and a level increase.

Under normal circumstances, this would be an agonizingly slow process. Without a massive hoard of mana crystals, it was impossible to train continuously without exhausting one's mana pool. But here, Max was exempt from the constraints of time and energy. The Dimension of Time provided the perfect solution. He could focus entirely on comprehension without any distractions.

'Even though this is just a no-rank dungeon, I still intend to take down the boss and the elite goblins. I shouldn't linger in this entry zone forever,' Max decided, opting to spend exactly three hours training his Magic Bullet skill.

---

While only three hours passed in the real world, three entire years elapsed for Max within the Dimension of Time. He spent every moment of those three years in relentless practice, focusing his entire being on the Magic Bullet skill.

Doing nothing but repetitive training for three years was a grueling mental challenge, but he maintained his resolve, practicing the same motion again and again until his time was up.

"I only managed to get Magic Bullet to level 10; this progress is far too slow," Max grumbled, clearly unhappy. After three years of dedication, reaching only level 10 felt like a failure. He had hoped for at least level 30, but the difficulty of mastery was a harsh reality.

"Am I just slow-witted, or is mastering a skill truly this difficult for everyone?" he wondered silently.

He stood still for a moment, shaking his head with a heavy sigh. "There is no use dwelling on it now."

Max shut his eyes. When he reopened them, he was back inside the dungeon, anchored in his physical body. However, the scene greeting him caused a cold sweat to break out across his skin.
