The Primordial Race revealed a shocking secret: humanity originated from them, and they now survive by transforming exceptional humans back into Primordials. The top ten geniuses are gathered for a compatibility test to see if they can withstand the Primordial bloodline.

Arvantos raised one hand. "Stand still. Don't resist."

The next instant, beams of ancient light dropped from each of the thirteen pillars and connected with the central formation. The ceremonial ground came alive immediately.

Streams of golden liquid light started moving beneath the transparent floor like rivers flowing toward each of the ten participants.

At the same time, a huge illusory Primordial symbol appeared high above them, rotating slowly and sending out wave after wave of ancient aura.

The first thing Max felt was pressure. Not ordinary pressure. It felt like the entire history of an ancient race had come down onto his body and was trying to read every part of him.

The pressure didn't attack him, but it pushed into him with unstoppable force, moving through his meridians, bones, flesh, bloodline, soul sea, and even the hidden corners of his foundation that ordinary people could never sense.

Max's Dimensional Sovereign Body reacted first. The space around his body twisted faintly, as if it were instinctively analyzing the invading ancient force.

Then his Seven Divine Veins gave off a low resonance, followed by the sleeping power of his draconic essences, his Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline, his multiple refined Pseudo Cosmic Paths, and the countless hidden inheritances resting inside him.

For a moment, Max felt like his whole existence had turned transparent under the ancient light.

Around him, the others went through their own tests.

Revona stood with her eyes half-open, and the moment the ancient force touched her, the Void Origin Eyes in her pupils spun faintly.

The air around her body turned hollow and deep, and for a short moment, faint shadows of other selves seemed to flicker behind her like reflections from countless past eras. It was as if the compatibility test wasn't just measuring one life, but many.

Ervin's body gave off a dark abyssal pressure. A black sea seemed to rise invisibly behind him, while the aura of the broken gate inside him showed itself faintly under the ancient light. His body, soul, and abyssal path all looked extremely stable.

Damian Voss's sword intent rose on its own. He stayed motionless, yet his whole body felt like a perfectly forged divine sword. The test light passed through him, and every part of his foundation answered with a sharp, disciplined hum.

Orion Starfall was wrapped in starlight. It looked like an entire field of stars had woken up inside him, each one supporting his body and making his compatibility grow stronger with every passing breath.

Kaiden Voidmere seemed to merge with a faint void distortion. His space affinity was so high that even the Primordial light around him bent slightly as it passed through him.

Rosaline, Morgana, Rakan, Aurelian, and the rest also showed striking responses, each one different, each one showing exactly why they'd made the top ten.

The compatibility test dragged on for a long time. The thirteen pillars shifted color several times. First pale gold, then deeper gold, then white, then a rich ancient crimson. Each shift meant a deeper layer of examination.

By the time it hit the crimson stage, even the strongest among them wore serious expressions.

Rakan's muscles were trembling. Orion's smile was gone. Damian's sword aura had turned much sharper. Rosaline's brows had started to knit. Even Revona had fully opened her eyes by now.

Only Max still stood with a relatively steady look, though inside him the pressure had also climbed to an astonishing level. His foundation was simply too vast.

His body alone was already monstrous enough to suppress most geniuses, and then there was his Dimensional Sovereign Body, his Seven Divine Veins, his draconic essences, his Dragon Scales Transformation, his Heavenly Luminance Divine Bloodline, multiple strong inheritances, and his Pseudo Cosmic Paths.

All of it combined into a foundation so abnormal that even the Primordial Compatibility Test seemed to grow more active around him.

At last, the light slowly pulled back. The thirteen pillars dimmed one after another, and the huge Primordial symbol above the sky faded into countless streams of ancient runes.

The ceremony ground fell silent. Then, in front of all of them, a compatibility ranking appeared in the air.

Every genius looked up at once. At the very top sat one name.

[1. Max Morgan]

Below him came the rest.

[2. Revona]

[3. Ervin]

[4. Damian Voss]

[5. Orion Starfall]

[6. Kaiden Voidmere]

[7. Rosaline Lunara]

[8. Morgana Starveil]

[9. Rakan Thorne]

[10. Aurelian Lareth]

The moment the ranking appeared, several of the geniuses went quiet. Most weren't shocked that Max ranked near the top. They were shocked he ranked first so clearly.

Even Arvantos had expected a lot from Max, but seeing the result laid out so plainly still put a faint smile on his face.

"As expected," he said.

Orion let out a breath and laughed helplessly. "So even here, he's first."

Rakan crossed his arms and grinned. "I knew his body was monstrous, but this is still annoying to look at."

Damian's expression stayed calm, though his eyes sharpened slightly as he looked at Max. "Your foundation really is absurd."

Ervin smiled faintly. "After fighting him, I can't say I'm surprised."

Rosaline looked at the ranking, then at Max, with a complicated smile. "You really don't leave any room for the rest of us."

Morgana's purple eyes glimmered with interest. "First in the conference and first in compatibility. How greedy."

Aurelian's face had already gone cold. Landing last among the top ten wasn't a light hit to his pride, especially given how highly he thought of himself as a chosen genius of the second elven faction.

Revona looked at the ranking calmly, then at Max. "You really were the right person to beat me."

Max only smiled faintly. "I'll take that as a compliment."

Arvantos stepped forward again, drawing everyone's attention back to him.

"The compatibility ranking is done," he said. "Next, I'll explain the four tiers of Primordial Bloodline."

The mood turned solemn again. Arvantos raised one hand, and four streams of ancient bloodline light appeared before them, each one different in color and pressure.

"The first tier is the General Primordial Bloodline. This is the bloodline most Primordials carry. It brings a major transformation to your body, soul, vitality, and law affinity. Even receiving this bloodline alone is enough to lift an ordinary genius far above his original race."

The first stream glowed steadily.

"The second tier is the Special Primordial Bloodline. Only some Primordials have this one. Besides the natural boost the General Bloodline gives, this tier also produces one or more unique bloodline abilities. Those abilities depend on the source bloodline and the inheritor's compatibility."

The second stream pulsed with a deeper aura.

"The third tier is the Leader Primordial Bloodline. This belongs to the upper rulers and high authorities of the Primordial Race. It doesn't just strengthen you. It transforms your fundamental level far more deeply and carries stronger source abilities, greater control over ancient laws, and a much higher ceiling for future growth."

The pressure from the third stream made even the top ten narrow their eyes.

Then Arvantos looked at the final stream. It was only a small amount of bloodline light, but its aura was enough to make the previous three streams look dim by comparison.

"And the fourth tier," Arvantos said slowly, "is the Primarch Bloodline."

The whole ceremonial ground went quiet.

"This bloodline is extremely rare. Only the four Primarchs, myself included, carry it."

Even Max's eyes sharpened at that.
