Aurelian and several other top participants secured swift victories in the ongoing tournament. Max also continued his winning streak, effortlessly defeating Kael Thornclaw. Ervin and Rakan also claimed wins, with Rakan regaining some morale. The tournament nears its next major clash as the top contenders, including Max, Damian, Orion, and Revona, maintain their undefeated records.

Two beams of light descended from above.

Orion Starfall appeared on one side of the central stage, his dark gold armor reflecting the flowing rivers of time-light that streamed above the Eternal Hourglass.

The nine star marks on his body glowed faintly, not yet fully awakened, but bright enough to make him look as though he carried a small night sky within his own flesh. His expression remained composed, and his familiar smile still rested on his face, though the easy playfulness in his eyes had noticeably thinned.

Revona appeared opposite him. She stood quietly with a relaxed posture, her eyes half open while a faint void-colored light flickered within her pupils. Compared to Orion's radiant aura of stars, she felt almost silent, yet that very silence was what made her so dangerous. Her Void Origin Eyes had already nullified far too many attacks for anyone present to take her lightly.

For a moment, neither of them attacked.

Orion studied her with interest and asked, "Before we begin, may I ask you something?"

Revona's expression did not shift. "Ask."

"Is there truly a way to bypass the ability of your Void Origin Eyes?"

The question made several participants lean in with sharper focus. Revona's eyes flickered slightly, and then she nodded. "Yes."

The answer sent a ripple of surprise across the pillars.

Orion's eyebrows rose. "There is?"

Revona turned her gaze toward one particular pillar, where Max stood in silence. Orion followed her line of sight.

Revona said calmly, "One individual managed to do so in the past."

Orion paused before asking, "Who?"

Her answer was simple. "Max."

The arena went quiet for the space of a breath, and then many gazes swung toward Max all at once. His expression remained calm, as though the matter had nothing to do with him at all.

He had defeated Revona once before, but he understood perfectly well that the Revona standing on the stage now was no longer the same woman he had fought back then. Her Void Origin Eyes had awakened further since that day, and her power to nullify attacks had grown far smoother and far more complete.

Orion stared at Max for a moment, then shook his head with a wry smile. "Of course it would be him."

A few of the participants wore complicated expressions after hearing it.

Rakan Thorne chuckled softly from his pillar. "That guy really is everywhere."

Morgana Starveil smiled faintly. "At this point, I would be more surprised if Max had not done it."

Kaiden Voidmere looked toward Max with thoughtful eyes, while Damian Voss said nothing at all.

Orion turned his attention back to Revona and exhaled lightly. "Then I suppose I will have to find my own way."

Revona opened her eyes fully, and void-colored light spread through her pupils. "You can try."

Angelina Valerius raised her hand.

[Battle Begins.]

Orion moved first, though he did not rush forward. In truth, he showed no intention of entering close combat at all. As the strongest genius of the Nine Star Court, Orion Starfall rarely fought with fists, blades, or techniques of short range.

His strength lived among the stars. His attacks descended from above, crossed vast distances as beams of light, and overwhelmed opponents through precision, sheer numbers, and celestial pressure. He was a long-range fighter by his very nature, and nearly all of his methods were built around commanding the battlefield from afar.

One star mark on his body lit up, and a single beam of starlight dropped from above the stage. It was thin, bright, and fast enough to arrive before most people could even react. The beam shot toward Revona's shoulder, and it was clearly intended as a probe rather than a genuine killing blow.

Revona looked at it, and the beam vanished. There was no explosion, no resistance, and no sound of any kind. It simply ceased to exist the instant it entered the range of her gaze.

Orion showed no surprise. A second star mark lit up, and this time two beams of starlight descended from different angles, one aimed at Revona's left side while the other curved around toward her back. Their paths were clean and precise, designed to force her to either turn or defend in two directions at once.

Revona's eyes shifted. The first beam vanished, and then the second followed it into nothing.

Orion smiled faintly. "So two is not enough."

Three star marks lit up, and then five, and then ten. The sky above the central stage darkened as ten points of starlight bloomed in the air. Each point released a beam, and the ten beams descended together like divine arrows loosed from the night sky.

Nor did they travel in straight lines alone. Some curved, some split apart, some accelerated at the halfway mark, and some delayed themselves by a fraction of a breath so they might strike after the first wave had been erased.

Revona stood without moving as her Void Origin Eyes shone brighter. Wherever her gaze swept, the star beams winked out one after another. Some vanished long before reaching her, some disappeared mere inches from her body, and some were erased in the middle of their curving flight, leaving behind nothing but faint ripples of empty space.

The ten-star attack failed.

Orion raised his hand, and a hundred stars appeared. The entire arena brightened. Many participants narrowed their eyes as one hundred points of starlight took shape above the stage and surrounded Revona from every direction.

The pressure of this attack belonged to an entirely different order than what had come before. Each star carried a compressed beam, and together they wove a vast celestial net that left almost no gap through which to escape.

"Nine Star Court. Hundred Star Descent."

The one hundred beams fell, and for a moment the stage looked as though an entire starry sky were collapsing upon it. Spectators across the Divine Realm held their breath. The attack was grand, beautiful, and terrifying all at once.

Every beam carried enough force to punch through a formidable defense, and with one hundred descending in unison, the pressure was enough to make even some of the top geniuses treat it with respect.

Revona finally moved, though she went neither backward nor forward. She simply turned slowly in place while her Void Origin Eyes glowed like two entrances into nothingness. The first twenty beams vanished, then forty, then seventy, and then all one hundred.

The entire Hundred Star Descent was erased before a single beam could touch her.
