Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1827 Second Round - 2
Previously on Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100...
Max stood calmly on his pillar, as if the battle had not mattered much.
But many others were no longer calm.
Rakan Thorne clicked his tongue. "Body is monstrous. Sword is monstrous. Soul defense is monstrous. Does this guy have a normal weakness?"
Orion Starfall smiled. "If he does, he is hiding it well."
Damian Voss looked at Max in silence, his gaze sharper than before.
Kaiden Voidmere murmured softly, "Dimension of Soul?"
Ervin heard those words and glanced toward Kaiden, but Kaiden did not explain further.
Max ignored the reactions and looked back at the central stage.
The randomizer continued.
Aurelian Lareth was called soon after.
[Second Main Round, Battle Thirteen]
[Aurelian Lareth vs Corvin Nightsteel]
Corvin Nightsteel was not weak. He used dark metal armor and a heavy sword, and his first attack released a black storm of blade fragments that covered half the stage. Against most opponents, the storm would have been difficult to defend against.
Aurelian simply raised his hand.
Heavenly Luminance divine light spread outward.
The black blade fragments melted like snow beneath the sun.
Corvin tried to charge through the light with his armor glowing, but Aurelian's expression remained calm. A golden-white spear of light appeared above him and descended. It broke Corvin's armor, forced him to one knee, and stopped just above his head.
[Winner: Aurelian Lareth.]
[Corvin Nightsteel Eliminated.]
Max's gaze became cold.
Aurelian still had not shown the full depth of the bloodline he had received, but every time he used that light, Max could feel the connection more clearly. It was like watching someone use a stolen part of his own existence.
Selene Vaeloria's battle came later.
[Second Main Round, Battle Fifteen]
[Selene Vaeloria vs Aurelia Flamecrest]
This pairing became one of the first battles in the second main round where a famous genius was given a truly troublesome opponent. Aurelia Flamecrest had advanced through a hard-fought match in the first main round and possessed extremely powerful sunfire. The moment the battle began, she released a golden sun wheel that pushed even Selene's luminance aura back slightly.
Selene's expression turned cold.
She raised both hands, and the Heavenly Luminance Queen Avatar appeared faintly behind her. She did not use her Pseudo Cosmic Path, but the avatar alone increased the pressure of her light sharply. Aurelia's sunfire clashed with Selene's radiance again and again, and for the first time in this round, Selene was forced to take several steps back.
The crowd stirred.
"She is being pushed?"
"No, not pushed. She is measuring the attack."
Max watched calmly.
He could tell that Selene was not in real danger. Aurelia's sunfire was strong, but Selene's foundation was still higher.
As expected, after a few more exchanges, Selene's gaze sharpened.
"Twelve Luminance Edicts."
Twelve golden runes appeared around Aurelia.
Her sunfire trembled.
The edicts suppressed the flames from twelve directions, and Selene's palm descended immediately afterward. Aurelia tried to resist, but the radiant palm broke through her sunfire and stopped before her chest.
Aurelia clenched her teeth, then lowered her hands.
"I surrender."
[Winner: Selene Vaeloria.]
[Aurelia Flamecrest Eliminated.]
Selene returned to her pillar and looked at Max again, but Max's expression remained indifferent.
Her hatred was obvious.
Her strength was real.
But Max had already defeated her once when she used far more than this.
The battles continued one after another. Some of the hidden experts who had looked promising in the first main round fell quickly when matched against more famous figures. Some managed to struggle, forcing their opponents to reveal a little more of their foundation before losing. The second main round was doing exactly what it was meant to do. It was separating the strong from the truly dangerous.
Revona's second battle appeared near the later half.
[Second Main Round, Battle Eighteen]
[Revona vs Seraphine Lareth]
The moment the names appeared together, the arena became extremely quiet.
Seraphine's face turned ugly.
She had survived the first main round, but now she had drawn Revona. Her Radiant Judgment Path was powerful, but after everyone had seen Revona's Void Origin Eyes, no one knew whether Seraphine's judgment light could even reach her.
Seraphine entered the stage with a cold expression.
Revona appeared opposite her with her eyes closed.
[Battle Begins.]
Seraphine attacked immediately.
Golden judgment spears descended from above, filling the stage with radiant killing light. Revona opened her eyes, and the void-colored glow appeared again.
The first spear vanished.
Then the second.
Then all the spears within her gaze disappeared one after another.
Seraphine's expression became stiff. She clenched her teeth and released a stronger radiant wheel, trying to suppress Revona from above. But Revona looked up, and the center of the wheel was erased.
The entire technique collapsed.
Revona appeared before Seraphine and raised one finger toward her forehead.
Seraphine trembled with anger, but she could not deny the result.
"I surrender."
[Winner: Revona.]
[Seraphine Lareth Eliminated.]
14:52
Max smiled faintly.
Watching Seraphine lose so quickly was not unpleasant.
Fin Arclight's battle came soon after, and unlike Seraphine, he managed to draw an opponent who was not a top monster. His Pale Eclipse Path dimmed the battlefield, weakened his opponent's senses, and trapped them in a gray-white domain of distorted perception. After a short struggle, his opponent surrendered.
[Winner: Fin Arclight.]
Max watched Fin quietly.
Fin was not at the level of Damian, Rakan, or the others, but he remained troublesome. His Pale Eclipse Path was suited for weakening and trapping opponents, and if someone underestimated him, they could be dragged into a bad rhythm.
Morgana's next battle also drew attention.
[Second Main Round, Battle Twenty-Two]
[Morgana Starveil vs Rose Valen]
Rose's expression changed the moment her name appeared opposite Morgana's.
Max's eyes narrowed slightly.
This was a bad match for Rose.
Rose was clever, careful, and skilled at creating traps, but Morgana was a witch whose curse methods specialized in turning other people's preparations against them. If Rose tried to play a long tactical battle, she might end up giving Morgana more mediums to curse.
