Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100 Chapter 1569 Saint Token

Mira's unrelenting screams echoed ceaselessly while the black flames devoured her without mercy. Max observed her in utter silence, but no emotion stirred inside him. Satisfaction from her torment was absent. Anger at her deeds was nowhere to be found. He felt utterly nothing.
Nothing but silence filled his inner world.
Such was the essence of the path Max had embarked upon.
The cosmic path of the Severing Sword went far beyond merely slicing foes or shattering barriers. Fundamentally, it meant cutting away all ties that held a person back, even their deepest feelings.
Max had now set foot on this path.
Emotion Severing.
Should he fully sever his emotions, no power in the world could stand against him. Fear would cease to hold him back. Pain would lose its grip on his resolve. Attachments would no longer blur his decisions. In that realm, he could slash through anything—foes, ideas, or even elusive fate itself.
Though the path was still unfinished, its effects were already profoundly fearsome.
The serenity inside him felt profoundly unnatural. Utterly absolute. Completely void.
From that void sprang a power that was icily formidable.
Having observed Mira's agonized cries for long minutes, Max's interest finally waned. His face unchanged, he let go and flung her form toward the Sword God Palace members. With that action, the icy detachment in his gaze dissolved, as he slowly emerged from the emotionless void.
"Do not worry," Max stated evenly, eyeing the tense and worried Tamara and Luna. "She is not dead."
Tamara's face stayed icy as she held his stare. "You will regret what you have done."
"Regret?" Max gave a subtle smile. "Then tell me how this should have ended. Should I have simply allowed Mira to kill me?"
His smile grew a touch deeper. "If we follow your logic, my death would have been the most acceptable outcome, would it not?"
He shook his head gently and delved into his dimensional space, pulling out a token. He displayed it for them to see. "Do you know what this is?"
Tamara's eyes flew wide the instant she spotted it. "That is… a Saint Token of the War God Palace. How do you possess something like that?"
Max regarded her steadily. "Then you must also know what it represents."
Tamara's look grew grave as she responded, "Whoever holds a Saint Token speaks with the authority of the Saint it belongs to. Their words carry the will of that Saint."
"Good," Max replied with a faint smile. "Then listen carefully. With this Saint Token, I order you to do everything in your power to protect the Black Dragon Clan if the Sword God Palace launches an attack against them."
"What?" Luna and Tamara exclaimed together, their shock plain to see.
Max faced them with steady composure. "Is there a problem? Or has the Saint Token lost its meaning within the War God Palace?"
"No," Tamara answered after a short hesitation, her tone resolute yet burdened. "If you hold the Saint Token, then your command must be honored. We will carry out what you have said. However, I want to know one thing. Which Saint does this token belong to?"
"Saint Reiner," Max replied evenly. "If I remember correctly, his name is Saint Reiner."
Those words hit Luna and Tamara like a thunderbolt, shaking them visibly.
"Saint Reiner?" they echoed nearly in unison.
Of all the Saints in the War God Palace, Saint Reiner reigned at the pinnacle. Only a select few could rival his stature. His sway and prestige dwarfed those of typical Saints.
Tamara struggled to grasp how Max had acquired such a token, especially one tied to a figure like Saint Reiner.
But that no longer mattered.
The command was issued, and obedience was mandatory.
In that instant, a flicker of remorse stirred in her heart. Had she acted sooner to halt Mira's assault on Max, events might have unfolded far differently. She could have forged ties with him—and by extension, Saint Reiner.
Yet she had let tensions boil over.
Now, she teetered on the brink of making him a foe.
"I hope you understand the weight of that Saint Token and treat it with the seriousness it deserves," Max said steadily, glancing at Luna and Tamara as he readied to depart.
Right before he turned away, Tamara added, her voice laced with unusual worry, "Be careful of Edwin from the Sword God Palace. His strength is on par with mine, and he should also be within this secret domain. If my judgment is correct, he has likely already reached the center."
Her face turned even graver as she went on speaking. "Edwin stands as one of the mightiest geniuses in the Sword God Palace. The moment he discovers what you've done to Mira, he'll act without delay. He'll seek your life relentlessly. Stay extremely vigilant when you confront him."
Max paid close attention in silence, then offered a small nod. "I will keep that in mind."
Upon saying this, his form flickered and vanished completely, erasing all traces of his presence from the area.
A short hush settled over the scene.
"Well, that proved to be a truly captivating display," a voice echoed as Ash advanced at last alongside the Ascension Hall members.
A subtle smile played on his lips as he looked toward Tamara. "Who could have foreseen events unfolding in such a manner? I suspect Miss Mira won't let this slide once she awakens."
He halted briefly, then mused aloud, "That said, it might not make much difference in the end. If the Sword God Palace fails to subdue him right here in this domain, they likely won't find it any simpler to handle him beyond its borders."
Though Ash belonged to no faction in the War God Palace, he grasped the true weight of a Saint Token. The entire Divine Realm recognized its immense value. Possessors of such a token enjoyed the direct support of a Saint, a shield potent enough to ward off even the strongest organizations.
In Ash's view, Max would stay protected after departing from Orion.
Tamara stayed quiet for a beat while absorbing his words, her mind churning with unease.
At length, she addressed her companions with a firm tone. "We are leaving. The clash has stirred far too much chaos already. Lingering further risks attracting the devils' notice."
At her directive, her team started to pull back, abandoning the battlefield entirely.
