Max and his companions cautiously entered the corrupted Celestial Beast Temple, wary of the dangers within. They discovered a massive blue sphere, identified as a portal activator by the leaders of the Four God Nation, who began channeling their bloodline essence into it. As they did so, numerous powerful golems began forming from the temple floor, forcing the other members of the group into a fierce battle. The sphere eventually activated, engulfing everyone in golden light and transporting them to another hall.

The massive blue orb had vanished. Standing in its stead was a gargantuan, ancient door, tightly sealed and covered in a network of grooves and symbols that throbbed with a malevolent crimson light.

Max’s eyes sharpened as he detected a sudden shift in the atmosphere. His survival instincts flared with alarm. "Everyone get back!" he commanded.

The shout was timely. Thick, scarlet vines burst forth from the floor, walls, and ceiling like writhing tentacles. They lunged with lethal velocity, lashing out in every direction and choking the entire hall in a matter of seconds.

Nowhere remained safe; not a single inch of ground was left untouched. The tentacles struck with bone-crushing power, emitting a corrosive and hateful energy that seemed intent on devouring its prey rather than just killing them.

Realizing that only he and Lucien possessed the strength to endure such a barrage, Max reacted without hesitation. He unleashed his fifth-level concept of space with absolute precision.

A spherical dome of high-pressure space manifested around the party, encasing them in a detached pocket of reality. As the vines crashed against the perimeter, the fabric of space itself fought back.

Thunderous impacts resounded as the initial wave of tentacles hammered the barrier. Many were instantly shredded, sliced into ribbons by the intense spatial pressure. Others were flung back, their forms twisted and broken before they could even apply force. The dome remained steadfast and unyielding, an impenetrable fortress amidst the surrounding madness.

"Stay close and move forward," Max instructed calmly, beginning his advance. The spatial sphere traveled with him, carving a path inch by inch through the dense forest of red vines.

Tentacles continued their relentless assault as the dome pushed through. Upon contact with the boundary, they were annihilated—crushed or severed by the supreme spatial authority. This progress wasn't achieved through mere physical strength, but through total dominion over the dimension itself. Step by step, the group proceeded as the dome forced a narrow passage through the living nightmare.

While the air inside the sphere was still, the hall outside churned violently, as though the room itself resisted their passage. The red vines retreated and reformed over and over, only to be obliterated the moment they touched the spatial edge.

Despite the heavy resistance, Max’s focus never wavered. With a steady gaze, he navigated the group toward the sealed gateway at the end of the corridor.

After a period that felt like an eternity, the onslaught began to fade. The cluster of tentacles grew sparse until the writhing mass finally withdrew. The dome came to a stop right before the colossal door. The crimson vines retreated back into the masonry, leaving behind scorched earth and deep fractures where they had been destroyed.

Max lowered his arm, and the spatial sphere dissipated smoothly, returning the group to the silence of the hall. They now stood directly in front of the ancient seal, its surface pulsing as if it could sense their arrival.

"This place does not want us here," Lucien remarked in a low voice.

Max stared at the door with icy concentration. "That only means we are exactly where we need to be."

"Whatever lies beyond this door is deeply evil," Lucien said solemnly, his eyes fixed on the ancient seal. "Most likely it is the crown tainted by the True Origin Devil Blood."

Max gave a slow nod. As his senses reached out toward the area behind the door, his features hardened. "I can feel it too. The evil energy behind this door is at its peak. It is far denser and more malicious than anything we have encountered so far."

Before a response could be made, Lucien moved with sudden speed.

His form flickered and reappeared in front of one of the squad leaders. A loud thud filled the room as he slammed the man onto the stone floor, pinning his arms behind his back with irresistible strength. The man held beneath him was Michael.

For a split second, the entire party stood frozen in shock.

"I will kill you! I will kill you all!" Michael shrieked like a lunatic, his voice raspy and overflowing with pure hatred. His eyes burned with a sickly red glow, and dark veins branched across his face and neck. His skin had turned a pale, sickly hue, as if something foul was rotting inside him and trying to break free.

"What happened to him?" Victor cried out, his face pale with shock.

Seraphina, Daniel, Arthur, and the rest looked on in horror. They couldn't reconcile this sight with the dependable comrade they had known. Even the four leaders of the Four God Nation were visibly disturbed, their expressions darkening as they felt the distorted aura radiating from Michael’s body.

"He was about to sneak attack all of you," Lucien stated coldly, maintaining his iron grip on the struggling man. "His killing intent spiked the moment you lowered your guard."

Max had already approached. He knelt before Michael, his sharp eyes analyzing the situation as his senses scanned the man’s body and soul. "The corruption here is not passive," he noted softly. "It seeps into anyone who stays exposed for too long. I believe whatever has defiled this temple has begun to corrupt him as well."

As he spoke, Max glanced briefly at the other squad leaders and the four national leaders. Using his Three Dimensional Body, he scrutinized them, checking for any irregularities in their auras or soul states. Once he confirmed no one else showed symptoms, he exhaled slowly.

"You are all safe for now," Max said, his voice grave and firm. He then turned his focus back to Michael, who was still fighting violently against Lucien’s restraint, spewing hatred like venom.

Victor balled his fists, his jaw tight as he watched his teammate thrash on the ground. "What do we do about him?" he asked heavily. "He is our teammate. I do not want to see him end like this."

Silence fell over the hall once more. Behind them, the sealed door loomed, its corrupted energy pulsing faintly as if mocking their plight.
