Max and Lucien theorized that the being who sealed Mark was from the Four Divine Beasts' organization. Max then selected a small group, including the seven squad leaders and the four leaders of the Four God Nation, to enter the Celestial Beast Temple, while others remained outside. Upon entering, they discovered the temple's interior corrupted by dark red, pulsing vines exuding a malicious energy that Max identified as something far worse than infernal energy, possibly related to the True Origin Devil Blood.

"If your words hold truth, then we are facing a truly dire situation," Lucien remarked, his forehead creasing as he surveyed the temple's corrupted interior with mounting anxiety.

Max gave a slow nod, his eyes scanning the cavernous hall where pulsing red vines slithered across every inch of the architecture. "Refrain from touching anything," he commanded with a stern tone. "Remain vigilant. In this place, even the air itself might be a deception."

Following his warning, Max and Lucien took point, leading the party with measured steps into the heart of the Celestial Beast Temple. Long ago, this site served as the holy sanctuary for the Four Divine Beasts, built to uphold their sovereign authority and preserve their ancient legacy.

However, now that the True Origin Devil Blood had tained the site, there was no way to predict what sort of monstrosities or corrupted sentinels had claimed these halls. Their footsteps produced soft echoes, and a heavy, suffocating energy bore down on them, making it impossible to find a moment of peace.

After navigating through several passages strangled by crimson flora and distorted masonry, the group reached a colossal chamber. The room was vast and circular, evidently designed as the temple’s primary hall. Towering reliefs representing the Azure Dragon, the Golden Phoenix, the White Tiger, and the Black Tortoise were etched into the four surrounding walls.

Despite the corruption marring them, the engravings still exuded a crushing pressure that hummed with ancient divine power. A gigantic blue orb hovered at the center of the room, drifting in the air without any physical support. It emitted a constant, singular energy that stood in stark defiance of the surrounding darkness.

"That object is..." Aden whispered, his eyes fixed on the sphere with a mix of familiarity and doubt.

Max pivoted toward him at once. "Are you acquainted with this thing?"

Aden traded looks with Alexander and the other two sovereigns of the Four God Nation. Receiving their silent confirmation, he inhaled deeply before speaking. "A floating artifact of this exact design exists within our world, though its scale is far smaller. It has been guarded as a sacred relic since the dawn of time."

Max’s gaze sharpened. "What is its function?"

Alexander stepped forward this time to provide the explanation. "It acts as a conduit for our combined bloodline power. Once triggered, it unlocks a gateway to a hidden treasury established by the Four Divine Beasts. Considering the immense size and power of this particular orb, I suspect it does more than open a simple vault. It likely serves as a threshold to a deeper, more significant layer of the temple."

Max nodded as he processed the information, but his demeanor shifted violently before he could respond. He spun around in a flash, his senses flaring to their limit. "Everyone, assume combat positions!" he roared.

The seven squad leaders and the four sovereigns of the Four God Nation moved instantly, circulating their Qi and dropping into fighting stances. A deep tremor surged through the hall, making the stone beneath them vibrate. Luminous cracks spiderwebbed across the floor, and massive boulders began to levitate as they tore themselves free from the ground.

From the ruined floor, shapes began to manifest. One stone golem rose, followed by a second, and then another. Their frames were swiftly constructed from rock debris, each assuming a towering humanoid form. The process seemed endless as more golems continued to emerge from the earth.

Every construct radiated the distinct aura of a divine beast; some possessed the crushing might of the White Tiger, while others emitted the searing heat of the Phoenix, the thunderous Qi of the Azure Dragon, or the impenetrable defense of the Black Tortoise. Their power levels peaked at the Divine Rank, marking them as lethal adversaries for even the most experienced warriors.

"Seniors," Max signaled sharply, his mind racing through tactical possibilities, "you four focus on opening the portal. The rest of you will hold the line against the golems."

His instructions merely validated the actions already being taken. The four rulers of the Four God Nation sprinted toward the massive blue orb at the center, pressing their palms against its surface to channel their bloodline essence into it.

Simultaneously, the seven squad leaders lunged forward to meet the charging golems. The hall exploded into chaos as blades shimmered, flames erupted, lightning hissed, and frost coated the floor in an instant clash of power.

The Celestial Beast Temple trembled under the force of the engagement. The sounds of combat echoed through the defiled hall, a clear sign that the path beyond would have to be earned through blood and steel.

Max and Lucien remained positioned between the two groups, neither engaging the stone sentinels nor aiding the leaders with the sphere. They simply watched.

Max monitored every movement with icy precision, while Lucien kept his perception expanded, ready to intervene if the tide turned against them. The horde of rock golems grew without end, their bodies regenerating perpetually from the tainted floor, striking with unnatural coordination and the borrowed auras of the divine beasts. The weight of the battle grew heavier upon the seven squad leaders with every passing second.

"Will they be able to manage?" Lucien asked in a low voice, watching the squad leaders struggle against the relentless waves, their forms blurring under the exhaustion of the fight.

"They should be fine," Max answered with a stoic nod. "The trials they faced in Nullaria were far more grueling than this. If they cannot withstand this pressure, then they aren't worthy of venturing deeper into this temple."

While the battle thundered around them, the four sovereigns remained undeterred, steadily feeding their bloodline essence into the great blue sphere. The artifact reacted slowly, its surface transitioning from a deep azure to a brilliant, glowing gold.

The radiance grew until it throbbed like a captive sun, and then, without warning, the light burst outward. The golden flash consumed everyone in the room, instantly severing the connection to the battlefield. Sound died away. Space itself buckled.

When their senses finally returned, Max and his companions found themselves in a different hall. At a glance, it seemed to be a mirror of the one they left, complete with the same high walls and divine beast reliefs. However, a certain element was missing.
