Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf Chapter 1738 - 978: The Great Clans Withdraw, Undead Army Group

Previously on Devouring Evolution: I Reborn as an Arctic Wolf...
The Wolf Pack Civilization has finalized a massive reorganization of its military forces, establishing nine great army groups to solidify its control over the newly unified Sky Wolf System. High-ranking commanders like the Spirit-eating Crow King, Shadow Wolf, and the Black Gold Demon Ape received promotions and new titles for their contributions in the recent super star wars, though the ceremony also served as a somber reminder of the many powerful leaders who fell in battle. Strategic territories have been assigned, with the Lonely Wolf Emperor guarding the Radiant Sun Star and the Roach Emperor overseeing the Jupiter Star Group, while the core of the civilization remains centered on Earth. As the formal decorations conclude, the Wolf Lord and his pack return to the Arctic with the massive carcass of a Mad Thunder Skyhawk in tow. This display of absolute power leaves the remaining predators of the wilderness in awe as the pack marches back toward the Land of Adventure.

The Wolf Pack Civilization’s inaugural celebratory banquet continued for more than a decade.

With the exception of the Heavenly Venerate level Mystic Bones, essence components, Heavenly Boundary Marks, the River of Spirituality Essence, and select high-grade exotic flora, the Wolf Pack Civilization distributed all other plundered resources among its followers.

These common resources were fundamentally intended to bolster the collective strength of the tribe.

Su Lin kept a small portion of the elite resources for the purpose of Genetic Fragment extraction; however, the vast majority were stored within the Wolf Pack Civilization Headquarters. These were reserved as future rewards for the most distinguished War Generals and War Kings!

The exotic plants were relocated to the rear mountains of the Southern Territory Mountains, strengthening the resource base of the Headquarters.

This location is destined to evolve into the most prosperous and resource-abundant territory within the entire Sirius System.

Following this,

The Wolf Lord took personal action, conducting private audiences with envoys from the Black Sun Tribe, the Bright Day System, the Undead Army Group, the Ice Dragon Clan, and the Red Sun Empire—all prominent Star Nebula Great Clans.

Among these groups, only the Undead Army Group, the Black Sun Tribe, and the Bright Day System had previously provided support to the Wolf Pack Civilization.

“I truly never imagined that in a mere few millennia, you would successfully lead the species of our home planet to forge such a legendary path!”

Shadow Demon projected a deeply sentimental and nostalgic Spiritual Will during the secret gathering as he gazed at the White Wolf. Before him stood a being radiating a peerless majesty, comparable to the Lord of the fifth vein who backed him.

Having originated from Earth himself, Shadow Demon was a Transcendent who had once ruled with absolute authority.

Yet, when compared to this White Wolf, whose Cultivation and lifespan had not even hit the ten-thousand-year mark, the gap between them was like heaven and earth.

He was merely an aging hound serving under his Lord’s command, whereas the White Wolf was a genuine rising emperor of the stars.

“Shadow Demon, it was agreed during the initial mediation that our past grievances would be set aside. Furthermore, your significant contributions during the Wolf Pack Civilization’s assault on the Radiant Sun Star cannot be ignored. Consequently, I promise that the Wolf Pack Civilization will deploy its forces to aid the Black Sun Tribe once in the future, provided it does not jeopardize our own foundation.”

Su Lin met Shadow Demon's gaze and sent back a composed Spiritual Will in response.

Regardless of how future ties with the Black Sun Tribe might evolve, a debt of gratitude had been incurred and must be settled!

The Wolf Pack Civilization is a force that never forgets an act of kindness or an act of malice!

Upon receiving this Spiritual Will, Shadow Demon considered pushing for better terms, but he quickly abandoned the idea after locking eyes with the Wolf Lord for a brief moment.

He understood clearly that this junior, despite being only a few thousand years old, offered such generous terms likely because of their shared Earthly origins.

Had it been otherwise—especially considering their fierce competition over the Radiant Sun Tribe’s destiny and resources—this favor would have been significantly reduced.

The subsequent discussions with the Ice Dragon Clan, the Undead Army Group, the Bright Day System, and the Red Sun Empire only served to validate Shadow Demon’s realizations.

Despite sending a Peak Heavenly Venerate into the fray, the Bright Day System attempted to demand extra compensation, only to be met with a flat rejection from the Wolf Lord.

The Ice Dragon Clan met a similar fate; although they suffered heavy casualties, their participation was not out of loyalty to the Wolf Pack Civilization.

Why should the Wolf Pack Civilization be held responsible for compensating losses incurred during the Jupiter Star Group investment?

Faced with the Wolf Lord’s icy and detached Spiritual Will, the representatives of the Ice Dragon Clan and the Bright Day System were forced to depart from Earth.

As they left, they shouted threats, warning that if the Wolf Pack Civilization ever faced peril again, they would learn the difference between having many allies and standing alone without support!

The moment those bitter words were spoken, a fifteen-colored Divine Light tore through the firmament, obliterating them in Earth’s upper atmosphere.

This was the price for their insolence!

It also served as a clear message to the Star Nebula Great Clans backing them: the Wolf Pack Civilization does not bow to threats!

Next,

The Red Sun Empire similarly received no special favors.

However, the Red Sun Empire was pragmatic; they recognized that their losses while obstructing Jupiter’s progress were independent of the Wolf Pack Civilization's obligations.

Because of this, their negotiations did not focus on immediate rewards.

Instead, they sought to discuss a potential alliance with this new Sirius System hegemon to collectively dismantle the Bright Day Stellar System.

The Sirius System and the Red Sun Empire are both situated on the fringes of the Blazing Nebula.

Aside from several standard systems like the Black Sun, Bade Beast, Heavenly Horse, and Proxima Star Systems, only the Bright Day System posed a legitimate threat to both the Wolf Pack Civilization and the Red Sun Empire.

The Bright Day System is commanded by a Peak Level 5 Dazzling Star and is bolstered by a formidable network of territories!

They control nearly ten thousand Second-class Life Planets and have subjugated over a dozen smaller stars beyond the nebula’s edge.

It is a massive powerhouse located closer to the Star Core.

Should the Wolf Pack Civilization or the Red Sun Empire harbor ambitions for the Star Core, they would eventually have to overcome the obstacle that is the Bright Day System.

In response to the proposal from the Red Sun Empire’s Peak Heavenly Venerate, the Wolf Lord did not give a verbal answer but instead offered a Rule-based Sticker.

This token would grant future Red Sun Empire envoys unrestricted passage through the Sirius System’s nebula layer.

This gesture signaled to the Peak Heavenly Venerate that while an alliance was possible, a mere envoy of his rank lacked the standing to finalize such a monumental pact!
