Kaiden, frustrated by an official investigation into his new guild, lashes out at Grace, who explains that she cannot stop the Bureau's actions but can make the process more difficult. Shortly after their call, the guild receives notice of an expanded, more intrusive review, including a supervised assessment of an unclassified resident. This news prompts Kaiden to ask his legal counsel if he is required to remain in the country, and upon confirmation that he is not, he asks his guild if they want to see Japan.
