Demonic Po*nstar System Chapter 755: Unexpected Call
Previously on Demonic Po*nstar System...
The group chat was exploding nonstop since 6 AM.
Emilia noticed it first, just like she always did. Tossing and turning without any sleep after the earth-shaking recent news, she was tending her succulents near the window when her phone buzzed to life. Two minutes later, the plants were abandoned because the Global Awakened News alert mattered more than any houseplant ever had or would.
ECLIPSE: KAIDEN GREY REGISTERS NEW GUILD WITH VESPERA ASHBORN AS REGENT
She dialed up the others right away.
Sarah answered while chomping down. Her Nutella jar sat open with a spoon gripped tight, since she'd caught the alert too and her instincts kicked in before her mind did.
Leia took the call from her bed. Her hair looked flawless, her pajamas hardly counted as clothes, phone angled over her face in a pose that'd rack up ten thousand likes on a post.
They'd been chatting nonstop for more than an hour. The Eclipse reveal. Forum blowups. MyExLeftMeNowITrackGuilds smashing eight hundred thousand likes and likely blasting off to meme immortality. 'Eclipsing Dawn' blowing up as a hashtag despite not being the real name. Nova Circuit crumbling. Runewoven overhauled. Dozens of New Dawn crew jumping ship overnight.
By all accounts, these were the wildest hours ever in their fandom's saga, and the trio tackled it with the poise of gals who'd spent months masterfully freaking out over Kaiden Grey.
'I can’t breathe,' Leia declared for the fourth time. 'My lungs have stopped working. ’Eclipsing Dawn’ is way too good of a ’fuck you, Father,’ for me to shut up.'
'You’ve been saying that for forty minutes and you’re still yapping,' Sarah pointed out.
'Yeah. And I don’t think I’m stopping anytime soon.'
'…'
Emilia huddled on her couch, phone propped on a pillow, floral sundress pulled snug around her knees. Her awakened interface glowed open as she tracked Kaiden’s platform subscriber numbers, skyrocketing even quicker post-announcement.
'A hundred thousand new followers in the last hour,' she murmured. 'And the stream hasn’t even started yet.'
'It’s going to be insane,' Sarah predicted. 'First stream as Eclipse. Everyone is going to tune in. Everyone.'
'I already blocked fourteen accounts that were spamming anti-Ashborn conspiracy stuff in the pre-chat,' Emilia added. 'They’re not even creative about it.'
'Good.' Leia stretched out on her bed. 'Squash them.'
Then the incoming call alert rang through the group chat.
All three spotted it simultaneously. Unknown number, video call, funneled via the Sinners’ internal contact network. Which screamed...
'Oh my god,' Leia bolted upright. 'Is it Kai?'
'It’s really from their end,' Emilia verified, eyeing the routing tag. Her eyes widened. 'Could be one of the girls, though. Maybe Calypso is messing with the ’human tech’ again.'
'Pick up pick up pick up pick up-'
Sarah hit accept.
Two matching faces dominated the screen.
Split-dye hair, red on one side and blue on the other, perfectly synced between them. Identical smirks. Opposite contact lenses, mirrored too. They resembled twins from a glossy magazine shoot who'd wandered into a guild hallway by mistake.
'Good morning!' the left one chirped brightly.
'Who the hell are you two rainbow wannabes?' Leia snapped, eyes narrowed, obviously crushed it wasn't Kaiden greeting her morning.
The twins' grins stretched even broader.
'Kira,' said the left one.
'Rika,' said the right one.
'Your new coworkers,' they chimed in unison.
A moment of stunned quiet.
'Huh?' Sarah cocked her head.
'We just got hired last night.' Kira wiggled her fingers at the camera. 'Media personnel for Valhalla’s Sinners. We wanted to introduce ourselves to the rest of the team since, you know, we’ll be working together from now on.'
The three moderators gawked at them.
Leia tapped away on her phone with one hand, googling live during the call. Her gaze darted from results to the twins' faces, and after ten seconds, her thumbs froze.
'Kira and Rika Vaughn,' she announced. 'Former media coordinators for New Dawn’s content division. Executive-level production staff under the guild’s direct media team.' She glanced up. 'You two ran New Dawn’s content machine.'
'Guilty,' Rika beamed.
Emilia’s face hardened. The friendliness from moments ago vanished. New Dawn.
Enemies.
Sarah caught the shift and jumped in.
'It’s not like everyone at New Dawn is rotten! Alice is a real ray of sunshine and Vespera seems like a really cool mom.'
Kira let out a giggle. "Yeah, yeah. We were on the dark side, helping the empire enrich themselves while you, members of the resistance, did your best. But we’re on your side now. Vespera called us personally."
Emilia eyed them closely for an extended beat, then huffed softly through her nostrils and unfolded her arms. Full trust evaded her, yet Sarah’s backing held real influence, and the twins’ vibrant vibe proved tough to question.
"So," Leia remarked, setting it aside while focusing entirely on them. "What’s it like? Working for Kai in person?"
Rika’s expression spoke volumes before her words could. Exhaustion marked her features. Blissful exhaustion. The sort from skipping sleep because the night’s joys gripped you tight.
"Aria had me applying her makeup at six in the morning," she explained. "An hour. A complete hour of foundation, concealer, blending, setting, as she chatted with her mom on the phone about Kaiden’s sheer brilliance."
"At six in the morning," Kira echoed from her side, ensuring the early hour hit home doubly.
"She shared with her mom about one spot he’d taken her to, and I swear she nearly teared up from the sheer joy of that recollection," Rika pressed on. "Right while I worked on her lower lash line. Nearly jabbed her eye."
Leia barked out a sharp laugh. "That’s the most Aria thing I’ve ever heard in my life."
"Luna is a blast," Rika continued. "She gamed on a handheld just twenty minutes prior to a combat sortie, roasting an entire lobby of clueless strangers unaware they faced flames from the Storm Valkyrie."
"Nyx is..." Kira waggled her hand side to side. "Sly. She observes it all, speaks sparingly, then unleashes a single line that reveals she grasped the full picture before you even wrapped your explanation."
"And the monster girls..." Rika hesitated, a clear tremor shaking her shoulders. "I assisted Calypso with her armor straps this morning. A true demoness. Crimson skin, horns, tail swishing behind, muscles capable of crushing me effortlessly. She dubbed me a ’resourceful minion who shows a lot of promise’ and weirdly, I kinda enjoyed it? Meanwhile, Bastet lounged by the window sunbathing, purring genuinely, her tail in that lazy feline sway, forcing me to recall these two are elite boss monsters who’d slaughter humans without hesitation under normal circumstances."
Kira shook her head slowly. "What Kaiden achieved with those two... nothing in the world compares. It remains utterly unreal."
A hush fell over the moderators briefly. Learning of these women via streams and clips differed vastly from tales of rubbing elbows with them that very day.
Emilia broke the silence first, her tone barely above a murmur.
"I want to rub Bastet’s ears so bad."
"They twitch," Kira replied. "When she’s content, they twitch. It took all my willpower not to stretch out and touch."
"I would simply die," Emilia murmured.
"You know what I want?" Leia declared, her voice carrying that signature edge prompting Sarah to grab her Nutella jar on reflex. "I want to take Calypso to the beach. I want the sun pounding on her stunning red skin and I want to rest my head on her thick, powerful thighs as a lap pillow with waves roaring nearby while she offers me sweet coconut juice and calls me a good girl who needs some rest."
She had more to add.
"And then, naturally, five hulking muscled guys with massive egos would strut up to flirt, spotting two stunning beauties looking exposed. Calypso would snap, ranting ’my Darling will take your heads off blah blah blah.’ But I’d dare them to beach volleyball, two on five. Me and Cali against the lot. We’d crush them utterly. Complete wipeout. Zero points for them. Then, as their manhoods deflate into oblivion, I’d slap a high-five with my fiery demon pal and return straight to my thigh pillow."
Leia spilled this whole daydream in one breathless rush, eyes fixed on some far-off point, as though visualizing the sandy shore, the net, and Calypso’s thighs in vivid detail.

Four faces filled the video call. Words escaped them all for now.
Leia blinked, snapping back to the present. "What? Did my internet time out?"
