Demonic Po*nstar System Chapter 754: Guild Leader Ashborn

"Go on."
"Eclipse replaces Runewoven in the competition standings effective immediately. All accumulated points transfer. Lineup changes are locked, though, so you can’t swap in any new fighters." She scrolled across the verdict on her tablet. "It’s cosmetic, basically. Same team, same points, new name on the board."
"Perfect. That’s all I wanted."
They strolled onward.
Kira and Rika nailed one truth perfectly. His world had flipped upside down in a single night, freeing up the late hours once wasted tweaking thumbnails at 2 AM for far superior uses.
That very evening, the twins got onboarded as the specialized media staff and personal aides for Valhalla’s Sinners.
They divided the duties with flawless synergy, like twins accustomed to splitting chores right from the cradle.
Kira stuck close to Kaiden in a secretarial role, while Rika hung back with the ladies.
The guild hall felt utterly transformed now.
Kaiden had roamed these halls since the tournament kicked off. Hallways unchanged. Doors identical. Overnight, however, the faces inside shifted dramatically, as did the stares directed his way.
Ahead, a trio of young warriors swung around the bend. Two guys and one woman, barely into their twenties, all decked out with the fresh Eclipse emblem on their kit. Spotting Kaiden, their chatter cut off sharp.
"Good morning, Guild Leader," the woman greeted. She pushed hard for a nonchalant vibe, pulling it off about as well as anyone could lock eyes with the Shadow Monarch’s heir.
"Morning." Kaiden gave a nod while passing by.
The pair of men lowered their heads respectfully. One stood plainly dazzled. They hugged the wall to clear his path.
Kira flashed a grin yet held her tongue.
The weirdness hadn’t faded. The content creator who’d amassed fans via on-camera teasing with his girlfriends and goofy variety streams now commanded a powerhouse guild boasting official support, seasoned experts, and the Shadow Monarch’s mark on its foundation papers.
Viewers who’d laughed at his antics on the Awakened Media Platform now snapped salutes in the passages.
Valhalla’s Sinners, once a formal mercenary outfit, stood officially disbanded. No mercenaries remained. Kaiden, Aria, Nyx, Luna, Calypso, and Bastet formed the core founders of Eclipse, each awarded ownership shares in the guild’s possessions.
Funds that Kaiden once handed out to his women on a whim now belonged to them outright by law. The five who’d stuck with a penniless drifter now flaunted individual fortunes to spark savage envy in most S-tier awakened warriors.
Yet Valhalla’s Sinners endured intact as a media empire. The live streams, video uploads, adult material, platform profile—all persisted under that banner, managed by the identical crew, bankrolled by their own profits. Eclipse served as the guild proper. Valhalla’s Sinners operated as the enterprise. United by leadership and lineup, their coffers stayed firmly apart.
Kaiden triggered the wrist artifact, launching the hologram skyward. Competition rankings bloomed in ghostly blue glow as he marched on, Kira syncing her steps perfectly.
Rookie Track Competition Standings - Day 26
1st — Eclipse: 128,380
2nd — Iron Halo: 98,390
3rd — Ashbound: 72,360
4th — New Dawn: 68,180
5th — Silver Talon: 57,730
Top spot secured. A whopping thirty-thousand-point gap.
The monster stampede marked the turning point. Beasts had surged into the basin, shredding the lower areas, and every guild caught there hemorrhaged lives. Iron Halo down three fighters. Silver Talon minus four. Thirty to forty thousand points wiped out in moments, dreams shattered, souls claimed.
Ashbound and New Dawn had skipped the action handily. Their rookies 'were tired, earned a rest,' skipping the basin precisely when the stampede struck—as if tipped off in advance.
Kaiden’s crew had scarcely survived the ordeal, but Vaelira’s unit emerged unscathed, vaulting them to a massive lead on the board.
’She held them together,’ Kaiden reflected. ’Rest well, Vaelira. You did great.’
She lay in the med bay now, mending from a barrage of injuries and bone-deep fatigue forged in her daring feats, driven solely to never fail the man clutching her destiny.
Kira sneaked a look at the rankings peeking over his shoulder and lit up.
"Oh yeah, that jogs my memory. Iron Halo and Silver Talon both submitted official complaints to the Association. Lawsuits aimed at New Dawn." She tapped her tablet. "They claim New Dawn intentionally caused the stampede. Deliberate risk to rival guild members, irresponsible meddling with monster migration routes, violation of Section 22 in the competition rules." She glanced at Kaiden. "Should the Association decide in their favor, New Dawn could face disqualification from the rookie league at the very least. Criminal charges in the worst scenario."
Another hit landed. The stack of troubles was mounting high.
He closed the rankings display.
"A few more days," he stated. "We stick to our routine just like before."
Kira shot him a look. "The lead is quite substantial. You guys could probably take it easy."
"We don’t slack off. It remains a prime chance to grow stronger, which is why we headed to the mountains originally. Nothing has shifted."
She grinned at his words. "Got it."
They entered the private wing. Kaiden heard voices from behind the door even before arriving, the comforting vibe of his girls preparing for the day.
"Are they ready?" he inquired of Kira.
Kira chuckled. "Rika’s been working non-stop since you departed. Your moon lady has my sister under her thumb like a servant. All those commitments from the presentation? Aria ensures we fulfill them precisely. Right on schedule. To exact specifications. No room for mistakes."
"That’s Aria for you."
"Your girlfriend scares me, boss."
"Yeah."
He pushed the door open.
The private wing transformed into a preparation zone. Equipment spread out over the lengthy table. Weapons inspected, provisions bundled, the efficient disorder of a squad experienced from countless runs, able to gear up for a hunt even half-asleep.
Aria perched in a seat by the window, sunlight streaming over her silver locks, phone held to her ear. Rika circled her swiftly and intently, holding a brush in one hand and palette in the other, dabbing foundation along Aria’s jaw with swift, expert motions.
"Mm," Aria murmured into the phone, tone gentle and affectionate. "I know, Mom. No need to fret. Like always, Kai looks after me well. I’ll ring you this evening."
She spotted Kaiden’s image in the glass, and her silver gaze sparkled. Her unoccupied hand rose for a little wave, fingers wiggling briefly.
On the far side of the room, Luna perched on a crate with legs dangling, her gadget blinking in her grip. Calypso rested against the wall nearby, axe strapped to her back, flashing a smile as soon as Kaiden entered. Nyx lounged on the sofa with her phone, while Bastet sprawled at the opposite end, eyes shut, tail flicking lazily as she basked in a sunbeam.
"Did Tessa say yes?" Nyx questioned.
"Is that seriously in doubt?" Luna smirked, eyes fixed on her game. "That lady executed one of the biggest cons in awakened lore. She spotted a zero-level unknown, bet big before the others realized the stakes, and cashed in all the way to a charter member spot in this year’s top guild. She’s the ultimate deal-snatcher out there. No chance she passes this up."
Kaiden had no need to answer. It was crystal clear.
Instead, he walked in and clapped once sharply.
"My stunning angels. Time to move out."
