Magnus discovered Vespera had bound New Dawn to massive long-term financial obligations assuming full operations, crippling the guild just as all fighters, staff, and partners defected to follow her. Overcome with rage, he demolished his office in a mana surge, vowing to reclaim everything through contracts, destruction, or Association charges against her. Grace then served notice of an Awakened Association investigation into serious criminal charges against him, leaving Magnus defeated amid the ruins as Kaiden's stream ended.

Bastet positioned herself directly behind the camera.

Her ears stood straight forward in deep focus. The tip of her tongue peeked from the corner of her mouth, protruding slightly between her lips, showcasing a concentration so profound that it seemed the entire world centered solely on her and her self-assigned role as a solo camera operator.

Through her golden cat-like eyes, she activated the [Harem Vision] skill, streaming the awakened-platform feed alongside the internet broadcast. She gripped the physical camera in her hands with the delicate precision of someone disarming an explosive device.

She handled both tasks simultaneously. The awakened feed via her eyes and the internet recording via human gear, all at once, since she had volunteered and insisted to the room that she was "perfectly capable of handling human gadgets, thank you very much."

The sun-kissed feline girl viewed this moment as her ultimate trial to demonstrate full adaptation to human tech.

Behind her, Calypso signaled wildly with her hands.

The crimson-skinned demoness had placed herself in her monster girl companion’s blind spot, one palm extended flat like a knife, slicing sideways in the classic "cut" gesture. Her other hand jabbed at the camera’s active recording light, which glowed steadily. Then she circled a finger by her temple, followed by a firm thumbs-down toward the perfectly level tripod. Next, she patted the camera’s side twice and nodded gravely at Bastet, as though spotting a vital issue visible only to her.

All of Bastet’s actions were spot-on. Every suggestion from Calypso was off-base. The demoness knew nothing about human recording devices yet brimmed with total assurance in her fixing skills.

Bastet’s tail lashed back without her glancing around. The fluffy appendage smacked Calypso on the knuckles, prompting the demon to jerk her hand away while shaking her fingers.

The tail resumed its relaxed sway. Bastet’s attention remained unbroken.

Calypso attempted once more, pantomiming what could pass for "zoom out," or perhaps "clean the lens," or maybe some fresh bit of interpretive movement. The tail whipped again, striking sharper across her wrist.

"Ow," Calypso murmured. She eyed her wrist, then the tail, then the camera, circling back to the tail. She ventured one final signal.

The tail looped, paused, then cracked across her fingers for the third strike.

Calypso surrendered. She crossed her arms, leaned against the doorframe, and observed Bastet’s efforts with the defeated grace of someone bested completely by a feline.

On the room’s opposite wall, three women lined up side by side.

Tears glistened in Aria’s eyes. They weren’t cascading, but they shimmered against her gray lashes. Her lips formed a tight, quivering line that steadied after a single tremble.

Nyx’s hand lay on Aria’s shoulder, her own face reflecting overwhelming feelings.

Luna positioned herself on Nyx’s other flank.

Her arms folded across her chest, the left one held a bit rigid where the healing process continued to integrate.

Vespera’s shadows had sealed the injury and preserved the cut nerves fresh right after the severance, and the healer she summoned had reconnected the arm so flawlessly that Luna restored full movement in just hours. It throbbed faintly still.

Luna absently massaged the area above her elbow, her gaze locked on Kaiden with an expression that might seem fury on others. For Luna, it signaled a fierce battle against welling tears.

He no longer needed to conceal his true self.

Every girl felt immense joy for the man who had transformed their lives in such a deeply mysterious way.

By the door, Alexandra made no attempt to hide her emotions.

The blonde servant pressed both hands over her mouth, shoulders shaking, tears flowing unchecked down her cheeks. Her demon maid attire was disheveled at the collar from her gripping it. Her blue eyes puffed and reddened, and she didn’t bother regaining poise since, to her, any semblance of it had vanished about half an hour back and wouldn’t return.

She wept in her classic Alexandra style: unreservedly, chaotically, involving her whole frame.

In the stream, Kaiden was finishing his words.

"And on behalf of my mother, I’m grateful for all the kind messages and good wishes I’ve seen tonight."

Alice popped into view from over his shoulder, grinning widely, and waved enthusiastically at the camera with both arms.

"Bye everyone!! Thank you for always supporting my big brother and treating Mom kindly!!"

"Aaaand cut!"

Bastet carefully removed the camera from the tripod using both hands, verified the recording light, hit stop, and placed it down tenderly, as if it were an infant and the tripod its bassinet.

"The broadcast has concluded, Master." She raised her chin, her face glowing with smug pride. "Both feeds ended smoothly. The human gear worked acceptably, I’d say."

Her tail swished lazily behind her, full of arrogance.

"I told you," she remarked to the air. "It was barely a challenge for someone like me."

Kaiden grinned at his remarkable sun-kissed cat-girl and let out a breath.

The air escaped him in a prolonged, gradual whoosh, like the exhale of a man who’d kept his frame tense for ages and only now noticed. His shoulders slumped. His neck loosened. The mana he’d held tight in his core calmed, and the room’s subtle vibration ceased.

He occupied the private quarters of the Runewoven guild hall, the very suite he’d used as his sleeping quarters over the last four weeks since the contest began.

Vespera remained pressed to his chest. Alice clung to his back, legs swinging, arms looped around his neck.

Aria’s tears trailed down. A pair of them, quiet, sliding along her cheeks, which she brushed away with her hand’s back before remarks could arise.

Nyx gave her shoulder a single squeeze.

Luna snorted sharply and defiantly, the sort that challenged any emotional reading. "It’s really dusty in here," she grumbled.

Alice’s head emerged from behind Kaiden’s shoulder. Her eyes sparkled. They burned with a joy so intense it made the surrounding air gleam.

She nuzzled his hair once more, then fixed her stare on Alexandra.

"Lexi!"

Alice rocketed off Kaiden’s back like a projectile.

She crossed from the stool to the door in three bounds and collided with Alexandra full-force, arms encircling the maid’s waist. Alice was slim and petite, reaching only to Alexandra’s chin.

Alexandra embodied the opposite: curvaceous, plush, voluptuousness accentuated mercilessly by her demon maid uniform. The impact’s contrast hit instantly, the slimmer girl vanishing into the maid’s pushed-up curves, face buried in the ample bosom.

Alexandra scooped her up. Her arms enveloped Alice’s shoulders, drawing her close, one hand cradling the back of Alice’s head to nestle her against her chest.

"I’m so happy for you," Alexandra choked out amid sobs. Her voice cracked. "I’m so, so happy."

"We did it, Lexi!" Alice bounced excitedly, making the maid’s form jiggle with each bounce. "Big brother told the whole world!!"

"I know." Alexandra mixed laughter with tears, her expression like a system crashing on her features. "I watched the whole thing."

Alice drew away. Her cheeks glowed, hair tousled, eyes holding the glow of a girl granted her heart’s sole desire.

"This calls for a celebration!" she proclaimed. "The grandest one! The ultimate festivity ever! We need waffles, cakes, cookies, and those tiny pastries you showed me! Lots of them, since so many folks are here and big brother devours like a bear when joyful!"

"The puffs?" Alexandra queried, blinking past tears.

"The puffs!!!"

Alice seized Alexandra’s wrist and hauled her toward the kitchen-leading hallway. Alexandra staggered behind, tears ongoing, dabbing her face with her free hand while the other stayed captive in Alice’s hold. They vanished around the bend amid pounding steps and joyful yells that morphed into cupboard slams.

Kaiden observed their departure.

In the room’s center, he let go of Vespera, standing solo for the first time lately, and faced the women who’d waited behind the cameras through the night.
