Fisher learns from Rafael that Transferees are pawns used by Chaos to dismantle the world and that the Spirit Realm holds the answers. As Rafael begins to fade, he warns Fisher about "Ocean" and the impending soul Chaos, before Fisher finds himself back in his reality with Elliog, experiencing disturbing physical and sensory changes.

At this moment, upon hearing the noise coming from downstairs, Fisher was slightly taken aback. He then quickly tidied up his clothes, but the twisted, deformed figure behind him was difficult to restore to human form.

"Do you need my help, Fisher?"

It was at this moment that the childish voice once again appeared in his mind. Fisher was slightly stunned and asked in his heart,

"Can you help me, Cupid?"

"I can... but..."

"But?"

"But, Fisher must say he loves me."

No, according to Caleb Wuz’s words, isn’t the Abyss of consciousness supposed to be a part of myself? Could it be that I’m so narcissistic that it made my own twisted consciousness so bizarre?

"Cupid, you’re not the real Helair, you’re just..."

"Can’t I say it?"

"Tap... Tap... Tap..."

The urgent footsteps of Moli on the stairs approached, and Fisher had no choice but to glance at the constantly mutating part behind him. He wondered if it was because of the recent encounter with Elliog or due to the escalating Chaos recorded in him after encountering Caleb Wuz. It made his control over his body increasingly fragile. He had to compromise with the imaginary Cupid in his mind,

"Alright, I love Cupid the most."

"I love you the most too."

Fortunately, the words in the mind could not be heard by others, so it didn’t matter whether they were said or not.

But Fisher wasn’t sure if this was a good imagination because, according to Caleb Wuz’s words, the abyss of consciousness was supposed to be part of the power he obtained after reading the Soul Completion Manual. Ignoring it was okay, but now it seemed to have gained some control over the chaotic power...

Could it be the consequence of communicating with it?

But if that was the case, Caleb Wuz should have made it clear that one shouldn’t talk to it.

Cupid kept his promise as Fisher’s melting part behind him gradually solidified. He also stood up from his previous chair, instinctively wanting to put away the unfolded Soul Completion Manual on the table, but at a glance, the table was empty with no sign of any manual.

Even though Elliog was often competitive, she was uninterested in the incoming Moli, or rather, she still had no hostility towards other Ladies besides Paimon, as if the others were unrelated to her.

Because she had just eaten and drunk her fill, her mood at this moment was rather good as she watched Fisher stand up and organize himself without any annoyance, only "gurgling" as she watched him arrange his clothes.

"Mr. Fisher, I... I found the base."

It wasn’t long before the panting Moli came up from the staircase to the far end of the library, but the ventilation in this place was too good, so the further she walked inside, the hotter the niter smell became, as if something inside was burning, causing her to fan her nose unconsciously,

"Mr. Fisher, you all... what did you do here just now?"

Thank the Mother Goddess, the atmosphere when acting with a demon was so different from with other races that poor Moli didn’t realize what happened here immediately. She might have just felt that Elliog’s mood improved somewhat suddenly.

Indeed, the most dangerous place is also the safest place, which holds true for time as well.

Moli couldn’t even imagine that they would engage in such matters within the time they were searching for the base, so her thought process didn’t even veer in that direction.

After all, she’s not very experienced, assuming there’s no solution without a bed, not knowing that for a truly hungry demon, everywhere is a dining hall.

"We were conducting research just now."

"Research?"

"Ah, researching tactics..."

Looking at the silly but somewhat adorable Whale-man Species in front of her, Elliog couldn’t help but feel a bit of affection for her. Before Fisher could speak, she took the initiative to explain,

"We were just thinking about how to destroy the base, but because we weren’t sure about its specific nature, we could only rely on Fisher’s memories to make assumptions... but now that you’ve found the base, things should be easier. Let’s go down and take a look. By the way, where did the damn Paimon hide that thing?"

Fisher was slightly stunned. Then, watching the side of her that started to yawn again, with a face as if nothing had happened, and seriously began to lie, Elliog realized that the tiny end of the tail behind her was subtly swaying counterclockwise...

Hmm, now Fisher realized that this was the little gesture the demon cat made when she lied.

"Ah, the base is just... well, in short, Mr. Fisher, come down with me to see for yourselves, they’re all there by now. I uncovered a mechanism to open it!"

Moli proudly stated as she took a few steps back.

Elliog and Fisher were a bit surprised, especially Elliog, who glanced at Fisher and then Moli, clicking her tongue,

"It seems like Paimon’s old home holds no secrets for you all. One easily broke through her access control, and you, little whale-girl, even found where she hid things...
