Fisher opens a hidden room, revealing a collection of paintings by Paimon. One large painting depicts a sleeping Fisher holding Paimon's hand. Numerous smaller paintings show Fisher in various domestic and affectionate moments with Paimon, much to the shock and irritation of Elliog and Moli. Elliog, angered by the apparent favoritism Paimon felt and Fisher's past relationship with her, destroys the large painting.

Holding the beautifully drawn painting in her hand, Elliog clicked her tongue in extreme displeasure, because even in her eyes, Paimon truly lived up to being a master of worldly art and mysterious knowledge, effortlessly making the image as exquisite as if it were vividly brought to life.

It seemed as though unprovoked flames began to spread from her fingertips, seemingly about to climb up from the point where she touched the painting and consume it entirely, but out of the corner of her eye, Elliog still saw Fisher, who was looking down at these paintings, and seemed to have had his heart slightly stirred...

"Tch..."

The flames suddenly stopped and slowly retracted back into her body, sparing this artwork from destruction.

She still remembered how certain she was when talking to Fisher earlier, saying that Paimon must have approached Fisher for some special purpose, placing the "Favored Ones Mark," which is very precious to demons, on him, even erasing her mark to overlay it.

Although Elliog still felt that way even now, looking at the detailed scenes in these paintings before her, she couldn’t bring herself to voice this opinion again for a moment.

On the other hand, Emhardt, nestled in Fisher’s arms, only took one look before hiding in Fisher’s arms as if unable to bear it, saying without hesitation,

"This must be Paimon’s sinister plot! It’s a setup she arranged beforehand, don’t fall for it!"

"..."

Fisher stroked the startled Emhardt, merely glancing at the paintings beside him, including many that Moli hadn’t taken out, each placed carefully on the ground. Every painting appeared so intricate, clearly crafted with meticulous attention by the artist.

He picked up one of them, and after looking at it, he suddenly spoke up,

"These are all scenes from when I knew her in the past..."

"...Heh, this is so unlike her, indeed."

Elliog casually tossed the large painting back in its place, perhaps intending to reiterate the same opinion as Emhardt. After all, from her perspective, it’s highly possible that Paimon had planned all this beforehand, allowing them to see this scene upon their arrival here.

Not only letting Fisher see their past experiences but also provoking the other women standing beside him—why not do this?

But upon closer thought, Elliog said nothing, because she suddenly discovered a contradiction within, as if she suddenly wasn’t sure of Paimon’s true intentions and nature either.

If Paimon had only designed it this way, just as Emhardt said, then she wouldn’t need to care about what Paimon painted, as it was all fake anyway.

But when Elliog saw her documenting with delicate strokes what seemed not to be her thoughts, chronicling her flirtations with Fisher, Fisher’s worries about her, that love flowing steadily across a million years lodged like a fishbone in Elliog’s throat.

If Paimon’s arrangement was not a design but genuine, sincerely cherishing a lover who only existed in the future over millennia, it became even more unacceptable for Elliog.

It’s as if she was proving that erasing Elliog’s mark and imprinting hers was justified, proving she had more reason to possess Fisher.

Adding it all together, none of it seemed right, only making Elliog increasingly displeased.

Sensing Elliog’s persistent irritation before him, nearly ready to explode, Fisher had no choice but to quickly change the subject. He looked back at Moli and got to the main point,

"Whether Helair meant for me to see this or if it was already like this, our priority now is to find the base. Moli, can you still sense the specific location of that base?"

Behind him, Moli, who was still pouting while picking up the paintings from the ground, seemed to have an intent of "I want to bring these pieces of evidence back for Rafael to see," stopped her actions only when Fisher turned back, pouting as she said,

"I’ll try. I can feel it’s very close to here..."

"Hmm."

Initially, when seeing Fisher’s anger at discovering Paimon’s deceit, Moli felt a slight bit of glee. Now, seeing so many sweet memories, her heart was lifted again, making her feel uneasy even about the "evidence" she collected in her hands.

Initially, she had no strong feelings towards the never-before-seen "Paimon," especially after having just had Fisher, but after these events, she became guarded and dissatisfied with Paimon, just like with Elizabeth...

Hmm, as for Elliog, since she bore no hostility towards her, she decided to temporarily cooperate with Elliog.

While Moli began to locate the base’s position, Elliog unexpectedly remained silent, simply rehanging the somewhat crumpled painting back onto the wall and then stood at the doorway with arms folded, waiting for Moli’s action.

Fisher glanced once more at the paintings on the wall, contemplating the words left by Helair behind the painting, as he also noticed the spiral staircase next to the painting leading to the second floor of the palace.

"...."

In his arms, the already uneasy Emhardt was taken out by Fisher after a moment of thought, left to wait there for a bit while he went up to take another look.
