Fisher contemplates his limited combat options without his Fluid Sword and his current human form's limitations at the Mythical Rank. He considers Magic as an alternative, recalling Tangze Asuka's multi-ring magic creation. As he opens the Soul Completion Manual, a mysterious, haggard man appears, congratulating Fisher on reaching the Mythical Rank.

"...Caleb Wuz?"

Fisher had seen the silhouette of this man before, in the Northern Realm when hallucinations filled his mind.

The man before him nodded, replied wearily,

"Yes, it is me. Don’t wonder why you’re suddenly here now; it’s all pre-arranged by me. You’ve read most of the notes I’ve recorded; only one very brief part remains, my final words before trying to enter the Spirit Realm. Reading that part means you’ve inherited all the knowledge in my mind. It isn’t much, but it’s very dangerous, so I need to ensure that the soul of the bearer is strong enough... or twisted enough, at least at the Mythical Rank."

"Before you start reading that part, I need to share some things with you... some things not recorded in the Completion Manual. Consider it a bit of advice or an experience sharing. After you’ve listened, you decide for yourself whether to proceed with reading that part."

Fisher didn’t continue to look at the Completion Manual pages on the table; he focused entirely on the worn and weary man before him, another transferee from Beyond the World.

He realized that this "Caleb Wuz" isn’t a living soul but a record in the Completion Manual, bearing the messages Caleb Wuz wishes to convey, but Fisher is unclear on the method. Judging by the intelligence of this phantom, it’s hard to say whether this is an application of Chaotic Knowledge.

He hesitated a moment and asked,

"...What do you want to share with me?"

"A secret, the secret of the soul."

"Soul?"

"Yes, although I haven’t met many other owners of Completion Manuals—only one, the Cardinal of Destiny, or rather, the president she impersonated—but throughout my long research, I’ve begun to realize that the knowledge contained within my mind might be the most unique among all Completion Manuals. Not because of anything else, but because all this knowledge is closely linked to a concept..."

Caleb Wuz’s pale face lowered bit by bit, then he rubbed his hands before speaking, somewhat shivering and nervous,

"You know, Beyond the World, in the place where I originally lived, Earth... or some other messy star systems, universes... Anyway, in that place, souls do not [exist], or rather, they don’t not exist; it’s just that no one, no existence knows of its existence."

Fisher furrowed his brows because, in his worldview, the existence of the soul was almost common knowledge to everyone. Even those who hadn’t read books or learned Magic knew of its existence, making Caleb Wuz’s words hard to comprehend,

"What does this mean? So, souls are unique to our world?"

But as soon as he said it, he immediately felt it was incorrect. Because if that were true, then there was no way Tangze Asuka could have something like a Magic Circuit that he was very familiar with.

Sure enough, Caleb Wuz quickly shook his head, saying,

"On the contrary, the soul is the only universal rule between this world and the outside. However, few people realize this principle, and it is only due to the special nature of the Chaotic Knowledge I possess that I can fortunately know this secret... You know, information has gaps. As the saying goes, the higher you stand, the further you see. The truth is obvious; the more powerful and intelligent an existence is, the more it can know compared to others...

"Magnify it to the race level, in our world, we know very little about the world beyond the skies, similarly to the rules governing the world; surely, there are other more powerful and intelligent races that know more than us and can do more; then, certainly a race even more powerful and intelligent than this group knows even more... thus one by one, upwards, until reaching those mighty Gods existing in this world—Ramasitia, Dalasgon, Anibatos, He Ya, Aoyun..."

At this point, Caleb Wuz’s expressionless face slowly lifted, looking at Fisher and then he said,

"So, following the previous logic forward, even if these Gods have not yet reached omniscience and omnipotence in strength and wisdom, then above them, there surely is something whose principle, nature, and origin are unclear even to them... It’s just that compared to our original example of humans, they know very little, and as they grow stronger, what they don’t know becomes less and less..."

"Are you saying..."

"Yes, this thing is the soul, also the topic most encountered in the knowledge I possess..."

Caleb Wuz laughed miserably and continued,

"In our world, souls are entirely ungraspable; they’re like a conceptual fantasy until I arrived in this world to confirm that I too have a soul like yours, and it’s truly existent... But in this world of yours, souls have [forms], which completely contradicts the knowledge I possess. The Sea of Souls here is abnormal, or rather, very special, very... [precious]."
