Helair reveals that Gui orchestrated Fisher's encounters with her and the prophecy, intending for Fisher to resolve it. She offers Fisher an escape and plans to kill Rafael to delay the apocalypse, but Fisher insists on protecting those tied to the prophecy. Despite their differing views on fate and chaos, they share a bittersweet kiss before Helair departs, leaving Fisher to confront his path.
"Drip drip..." In the desolate and waterlogged shipyard, a couple of water droplets descended from the unseen ceiling, marking the passage of time with their rhythmic splashes upon the ground. Fisher, standing before the dock, held an unconscious demon servant in each hand. He casually deposited them onto a waiting hull before turning to lift the chain that sealed the dock, revealing the sun-drenched sea beyond. With a gentle nudge, he sent the hull gliding into the ocean, leaving the two unfortunate souls to their fate. These servants were merely couriers, their personal survival inconsequential; Fisher's true aim was to deny the hungry Soul Completion Manual any leverage, hence their release. He then proceeded toward the shipyard's entrance, seeking Sir Emhardt, who had been incapacitated by Helair with a mere flick of her wrist. Fortunately, Emhardt possessed a tendency to vocalize even when gravely injured. Following the man's faint groans, Fisher located the unconscious book propped against a sealed window. "Wake up... wake up." Fisher lightly tapped the book's cover, but to no avail. In frustration, he grasped Emhardt's spine and began to shake it. "Clap clap..." Surprisingly, this crude method worked. Emhardt stirred, his single eye cracking open dazedly as he mumbled, "Pai... Paimon?" "She's gone." "Gone... gone?!" The mere mention of that terrifying presence jolted Emhardt from his stupor. His pages fluttered wildly as he levitated, Fisher releasing his spine. Emhardt bombarded Fisher with questions, his voice tinged with panic, "What just happened?! Why did she appear? Was she trying to take you?" "No, she simply spoke of past matters. That's all." "You... you mustn't believe a word she says! She's surely lying to you!" Fisher observed the airborne Emhardt, confirming he remained intact after Helair's assault. He donned his Praying Tower robe, preparing to return to the tower. Before Fisher could take a step, Emhardt darted in front of him, obstructing his path. "Hey! Fisher! Did you hear me? Everything Paimon utters is utter fabrication. Don't trust a single syllable!" "Yes, I understand." "Don't just offer empty platitudes while internally thinking 'ah, my dear wife worries for me' or 'ah, my wife is too kind'. Paimon is no gentle demi-human lady you know; she is a bona fide demon! A devil! A true demon! More demonic than any demon!!" Emhardt hovered anxiously beside Fisher's shoulder, pleading his case. "That entity seeks to utterly consume you, leaving not a speck behind!" "Yes, I am aware." "Damn it!" Emhardt struggled to discern Fisher's true thoughts, his calm expression betraying no discernible emotion. Emhardt's primary concern was Fisher falling victim to Paimon's cunning deception. In his view, Paimon operated on an entirely different plane than the other ladies Fisher associated with; a single misstep could plunge him into the Abyss. So, what was Fisher contemplating at that moment? Was Helair's account the truth? Logically, Helair's explanation held weight: with Gui's prior endorsement, it was plausible she would monitor him during his temporal displacement. Furthermore, Fisher had indeed encountered Gui, who exhibited unusual kindness and showed no displeasure upon discovering he had bound her using the Demi-human Girls Completion Manual. Moreover, Gui had explicitly stated he was unique, perhaps evidenced by his possession of multiple Completion Manuals without adverse effects, the mysterious songs encountered upon reaching the Mythical Rank, or his ability to traverse the Ocean of Chaos unscathed by its associated Pollution. It was conceivable that due to his inherent connection to chaos, Gui might declare him pivotal in averting the Doomsday Prophecy, thus devising a plan to counter the prophecy's chaos-inducing nature with chaos itself. Helair's objective was to dissuade Fisher from this course of action, viewing further engagement with chaos as profoundly perilous, with even the slightest error potentially leading to catastrophic consequences, comparable to those inflicted by Transferees. The reasoning was sound, and Fisher acknowledged the justification behind Helair's actions and perspective. Yet, an unsettling detail lingered in his mind. Even if Gui intended to guide him toward the Mythical Rank and deeper immersion in chaos, and had even solicited Helair's assistance, Fisher could not fathom why Helair, who seemingly had no vested interest in the future, would agree to help Gui.

The mirror owned by Gui made it clear that a link existed between Gui and Helair. Yet, regarding the specifics of their connection and how they arrived at an agreement, Fisher harbored the persistent feeling that Helair was withholding crucial information.
