Demi-human Girls Completion Manual Chapter 1323 - 19: Punishment (Part 2)
Fisher watched her silhouette, just about to move forward again, when he suddenly heard her voice emerge softly, in a low tone, she asked,
"Fisher, do you... feel romantic emotions towards Moli?"
What was meant to come ultimately did, there was never a way to evade it.
Fisher didn’t remain silent for long nor did he move forward again, he merely replied,
"... Yes."
Rafael’s motion of slowly tidying her cloak suddenly stopped, and her tail behind her softened as if drained of its backbone.
"..."
Then, she slightly lowered her head, and the claws that were meant to smooth the wrinkles now clenched that cloak tightly, unsettling its surface.
She trembled, and soon, even her voice began to quiver,
"Do you feel romantic emotions towards me too, right?"
"... Yes."
But the moment she heard this, Rafael abruptly turned her head.
It was only then that Fisher barely realized that the image she held in front of Moli, her dignity and calmness had completely shattered, or perhaps, in front of Fisher, she was always that little dragon from years ago.
She bit her teeth, her eyes transforming into dangerous slit pupils, but it wasn’t a threat like when hunting, because around her eyes had already reddened — swirling, scorching tears were already swirling in their prison, yet she kept holding them back...
Maybe back when confronting Moli, these emotions were already there, but she managed the situation as properly as possible, not wanting to damage anyone’s pride or make Fisher face embarrassment and difficult choices, thus interrupting Fisher repeatedly.
She didn’t want words that leaned towards any side to slip from her mouth; leaning towards Moli would hurt herself, leaning towards herself would hurt Moli, leaning towards herself would make him face accusations from both herself and Moli simultaneously.
But in private now, she couldn’t endure any longer.
"Fisher, aside from us, how many other intimate women do you have?!!"
Rafael sobbed, hot steam erupting from her bit by bit; she thrust the cloak behind her onto the ground, walking towards Fisher, staring directly at him, questioning him,
"That Elizabeth, that Witch Renie, Moli, me... who else?! How many such relationships do you have that I don’t know about?"
Fisher didn’t step back, watching as Rafael approached tearfully, revealing all the hidden words from her heart in a fragmented voice,
"Are you blaming me? Fisher, are you blaming me for not finding you all this time, blaming my incompetence, blaming my inability to proudly announce your existence to everyone? Do you think I lack love for you, lack responsibility, have no care for you?"
"I don’t, Rafael. I have always known about your feelings for me, from a long, long time ago, I’ve known and affirmed..."
"Then do you think I’m a beast devoid of emotions, a lowly Dragon-man Subspecies, a Slave you bought, unworthy of your noble human race? Do you diminish my feelings for you, my love for you as trash, my efforts and longing for you as waste? Is even coming back to find me a condescending charity and mercy to you?"
"I have never considered you a lowly race and slave, I have always regarded you as a soul just like mine, rather than a tangible race..."
More tears rolled from Rafael’s eyes, her claws wrapped around Fisher’s body, with her trembling veins and bones expressing her shock and sadness. Yet, even so, she didn’t treat Fisher like the cloak harshly thrown to the ground.
On top of that, Fisher could only feel her almost-beseeching and confused gentle touch, followed by her voice came,
"So, is this my punishment, right? I owe you a punishment once, this is your way of collecting it, isn’t it, Fisher?"
He remembered the letter Fisher left when they parted at the port, mentioning that during the game Rafael owed him a punishment once. But that was merely a joke-like sentence, and he never thought Rafael owed him anything, let alone demanded that punishment seriously.
Yet Rafael remembered every bit, even each letter and word on that note, showing that even though their time together was brief, those memories were deeply engraved into Rafael’s soul,.
Now, with her sobbing expression and because of approaching Fisher, her scales lay once again, becoming particularly smooth.
But this symbol of tail-fitting love now made Rafael exceptionally sad,
"So, you want to punish me by making me say those words to Moli who spent so long with me, helped me so much. Making me lose my composure in front of the impending war, leaving me unsure what to do, making me helpless like then... is that right, Fisher?"
"I want to take you to see my Mother, let her know you, accept you, and then from her, let my race, the whole world accept our union... But how should I do it, just tell her your identity and nature, can she accept you? Or perhaps, with your immense power, forcibly through the my race’s acceptance just like humans use firepower on us?"
