The Angry-eyed Vajra takes anger as his power; once his rage cannot be calmed, it will bring him serious consequences.

What Li Shiming has done has severed the root of his cultivation; such a great enmity—if he had remained ignorant it would be one thing, but once he knows, he must resolve it with thunderous force to conform to the Angry-eyed Vajra’s code of conduct.

Besides, only by slaying Li Shiming can he ensure that the faith power of the Lower Realm will not be drawn out again.

If he doesn’t deal with Li Shiming, the Angry-eyed Vajra worries that Li Shiming will treat the Lower Realm’s Buddha statues as a source for harvesting faith power.

Yin Shilan is also a Great Immortal Envoy; without inviting the Angry-eyed Vajra to descend, the Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva likewise has no way to deal with Yin Shilan.

Right now the only thing he can rely on is the Angry-eyed Vajra’s Buddha statue in his hand; if the Angry-eyed Vajra cannot resolve Li Shiming, his own end will be exceedingly miserable.

"Do not worry. With my Buddha statue here, that Great Immortal Envoy will be unable to use Spirit to affect you!" The Angry-eyed Vajra’s Buddha statue flickered with a faint radiance, conveying the Angry-eyed Vajra’s reassurance.

The Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva only felt his flesh body go rigid; his body was no longer under his control, and more frighteningly, he could no longer establish contact with his Grotto Heaven.

The Angry-eyed Vajra is in the Upper Realm and can only make contact with the Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva; he had not expected the Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva to be suppressed by Spirit.

This was tantamount to Li Shiming smashing the boast he had just made.

How could the Angry-eyed Vajra endure that? He had already planned to descend a clone; at this moment he no longer hesitated, mobilizing one-tenth of his soul and energy, consuming the little remaining faith power.

Using the special ability of faith power to link to the world barrier, he poured one-tenth of his soul and energy into the body of the Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva in the Lower Realm.

This descent of a clone exacted an enormous cost; at the very least, for several thousand years he would be unable to perform a second descent.

Especially since that one-tenth of his soul still needs to return after descending, the duration of the descent is only one hundred breaths.

He must slay Li Shiming within those hundred breaths, or else this price will have been paid in vain.

The Angry-eyed Vajra forcibly seized control of the Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva’s flesh body; the Mountain and Water Great Bodhisattva’s body transformed into the Angry-eyed Vajra’s Dharma body, his angry eyes fixed on Li Shiming as he asked in a deep voice.

Though he only had one hundred breaths, he was confident he could end the battle in an instant.

Before that, he needed to know under whose orders Li Shiming had drawn out Buddhist faith power.

He simply did not believe that a Lower Realm Taoist Cultivator like Li Shiming had the ability to extract faith power.

This is not to say Taoist Cultivators are weaker than Buddhist Practitioners, but that Taoist Cultivators fundamentally do not study faith power at all.
