Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off Chapter 821: Who Dares Covet My Daughter?!
Previously on Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off...
Su Qinglan stood frozen, completely stunned by her eldest son’s sudden violence.
Before the fight could escalate any further, Han Jue stepped forward and immediately scooped up the little tiger cub by his scruff.
Xiao Yi thrashed wildly in his arms, his tiny legs kicking the air as he continued to hurl threats at the scrawny fox cub on the ground.
"Let me down! I’m going to bite his tail off!" Xiao Yi growled, baring his tiny baby teeth.
Han Jue held the wriggling tiger under his arm. But as he looked down at the bruised fox cub, his cold blue eyes narrowed dangerously. The words Xiao Yi had shouted echoed in his ears.
Dare to covet my sister?
Han Jue’s gaze instantly shifted toward his twin daughters, who were sitting together on a small wooden bench nearby.
Both of them had already transformed into their human forms a month ago, looking like two impossibly beautiful, chubby little porcelain dolls.
They were soft, round, and almost exact replicas of Su Qinglan.
However, both of them had inherited Han Jue’s distinct traits...soft, tender waves of snowy white hair and striking, icy-blue eyes.
Their chubby little faces were currently fixed in adorable pouts as they watched the commotion. They looked so small, so precious, and so fragile.
Instinctively, the protective father beast inside Han Jue awakened.
He slowly turned his head back to the fox cub lying in the dirt, his icy gaze locking onto the child. "You dare to covet my daughter?"
The little scrawny fox trembled under Han Jue’s terrifying, cold aura.
But instead of crying or apologizing, the bold little cub puffed out his chest and blurted out proudly, "So what?! I am just securing my future! Lulu is so beautiful! I want to become her mate!"
Silence fell over the courtyard.
Before Han Jue could even react, a middle-aged fox beastman suddenly burst out from the crowd of adult guests!
His face was pale with absolute horror. He lunged forward and instantly clamped his big hand firmly around his cub’s chatty mouth, shutting him up mid-sentence.
Han Jue stared at the father and son pair. Suddenly, a cold, frightening smile appeared on his face.
"Your fur is not even thick yet, and you already dare to pursue a female?" Han Jue said, his voice dripping with a low, threatening growl even though his face was smiling.
"Are you not afraid that you will be beaten to death by her father?"
The little fox cub’s eyes widened. He tried to retort back just as proudly, but his father clamped his mouth shut even tighter, practically suffocating the poor cub.
"I’m so sorry! I’m so sorry, Lord Han Jue!" the fox father apologized repeatedly, bowing his head frantically while silently cursing his chatty son in his mind.
The foolish cub wasn’t afraid because he didn’t realize the danger, but the father beastman was an adult!
He knew very well that he would be the one getting beaten up by Han Jue, not the cub!
The fox father internally cried tears of frustration. Which father wouldn’t be furious if their tiny, beautiful, toddler daughter was coveted by some scrawny brat at such a young age?!
He suddenly wanted to turn his son over his knee and spank him right here in front of everyone.
Who on earth had taught this brat to speak such nonsense?! He was barely old enough to run around, yet his mind was already thinking about pursuing females!
If the boy had shown this much passion for hunting, the father would have been moved to tears!
Han Jue looked down at the sweating father beastman and sneered. "Teach your brat some manners, or I wouldn’t mind teaching him a lesson myself."
The fox father shuddered violently, nodding his head like a woodpecker.
"Yes, yes! I will definitely teach him! I’ll discipline him properly at home! There’s no need to trouble yourself with the cubs, Lord Han Jue! I’ll take him back right now!"
Su Qinglan, who had finally recovered from the shock, stepped forward with a gentle smile to smooth things over.
"Ah, there’s really no need to be like this. They’re just cubs playing around. Just tell him nicely, that’s all."
Han Jue glanced at Su Qinglan, then turned back to give the fox father a sharp, deadly glare. "There is a need. If there is a next time, this little brat will find himself abandoned on some remote mountain."
The fox father broke out in a cold sweat, nodding frantically before dragging his son backward.
However, the scrawny little fox cub didn’t hear a single word of the dangerous threat. The warning completely went in one ear and out the other.
His big, bright eyes were still staring longingly at Lulu.
Lulu was sitting on her bench, oblivious to the drama.
She was holding a sweet, juicy fruit, happily licking it with her pink tongue while staring back at the crowd with wide, innocent blue eyes.
When her gaze briefly met his, the little fox felt as if his tiny heart had been struck by a lightning bolt of pure cuteness.
He sulked silently as his father dragged him away. Father beast? What does a father beast know about true love?!
The little fox was completely smitten by Lulu. He wanted nothing in this world except to be near her!
But unfortunately, his jaw was being clamped so tightly by his terrified father that he felt like his neck was about to snap. He couldn’t say a single word, so he could only drag his feet and sulk in miserable silence.
Back in the courtyard, Han Jue finally set the wriggling Xiao Yi back down on the ground.
Xiao Yi immediately shook his golden fur, huffing proudly as he dusted himself off. He picked up his discarded silk robe, put it back on, and stood in front of his twin sisters like a tiny, brave bodyguard.
"Don’t worry, sisters!" Xiao Yi declared, puffing out his chest. "As long as I’m here, no scrawny foxes are coming near you!"
Xiao Er nodded vigorously beside him. "Yeah! We’ll beat them into pulp!"
Su Qinglan looked at her overprotective husbands, her feisty sons, and her blissfully unaware daughters before shaking her head with a long, helpless sigh.
It seemed like keeping boys away from her daughters was going to be a full-time job for the entire family.
