Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off Chapter 810: Little Brother-in-Law Is Too Easy to Tease
Previously on Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off...
After taking a refreshing bath and putting on clean clothes, Su Qinglan felt entirely renewed. Accompanied by her beast husband, Han Jue, she finally left the house.
Her first destination was Lan Yue’s house. Su Qinglan wanted to check whether her little mermaid sister was still in Dragon Beast City or if she had already returned to the vast ocean for the season.
Carrying a neat gift basket, Su Qinglan and Han Jue walked the distance to the house. When they arrived, Su Qinglan breathed a sigh of relief upon noticing signs of life inside.
Knocking on the wooden gate, she called out cheerfully the moment the door began to swing open, "Lan Yue! Look, your big sister is back..."
Her words died in her throat as she came face-to-face with a young rabbit beastman.
Su Qinglan blinked, staring blankly for a second before blurting out, "Wait, what are you doing here?"
Tu Yelang froze in surprise, but he quickly bowed respectfully. "Big sister! Brother Han Jue! You’re back!"
Han Jue stepped up beside Su Qinglan, his brow furrowed in equal confusion. "What are you doing here?"
Su Qinglan nudged Han Jue’s side with her elbow, chuckling softly.
"Isn’t it obvious what he’s doing here?" She turned a warm, teasing smile back toward Tu Yelang. "So, you’ve officially become my little brother-in-law now, right?"
Tu Yelang’s ears instantly flamed bright red. Blushing furiously, he stepped aside and hastily invited them in. "P-Please come inside!"
Hearing the commotion, Lan Yue bounded out of the inner room with a bright smile. "Sister Qinglan!"
Overjoyed, Lan Yue threw herself right into Su Qinglan’s arms for a big hug. She had missed her sister so much.
Tu Yelang’s eyes widened in sheer panic. He instinctively reached out his hands as if to catch Lan Yue mid-air, his face pale with anxiety.
Seeing his dramatic reaction, Su Qinglan gently held Lan Yue and raised an eyebrow at Tu Yelang. "Why so tense, little brother-in-law? She’s not made of glass!"
Tu Yelang swallowed hard, looking deeply conflicted. He opened his mouth to explain but seemed too shy and nervous to speak.
Seeing how jumpy the boy was, Su Qinglan led Lan Yue over to the bed and pushed her down gently.
"Sit down before your husband blames me for tiring you out. Honestly, Yelang, our Lan Yue isn’t that fragile!"
Tu Yelang rubbed the back of his neck, his face practically burning. "S-Sister... it’s not that. Lan Yue just gave birth three days ago!"
"..."
The room went dead silent.
Both Su Qinglan and Han Jue froze like stone statues, staring at Lan Yue in absolute astonishment.
Lan Yue blushed, letting out a cute little giggle. She quickly turned around, picked up a small padded basket resting on the table, and pulled back the soft cloth. "Sister, look!"
Su Qinglan leaned over and looked inside. Nestled warmly together were three tiny, pinkish-red bunny cubs, their eyes still tightly closed as they slept soundly.
Su Qinglan blinked, looking up at Lan Yue with a playful smirk. "Are you giving these to me to raise? I do quite like rabbits!"
Tu Yelang gasped, his voice full of innocent panic. "Sister! They... they aren’t ordinary wild rabbits! They’re my cubs!"
Su Qinglan couldn’t hold it back anymore and burst into loud laughter.
Lan Yue covered her mouth, giggling continuously.
"Big sister is just teasing you, Yelang! How could she not know the difference between our beast cubs and ordinary animals?"
Tu Yelang’s face turned redder than a ripe tomato.
Su Qinglan shook her head, thoroughly amused.
Tu Yelang was only nineteen years old...a full year younger than Lan Yue! He was practically still a young boy, making him far too easy to tease.
Beside her, Han Jue looked at the blushing rabbit youth and shook his head in silent disbelief.
This kid is ridiculously lucky, Han Jue thought to himself. At nineteen, other young male beastmen are still desperately trying to figure out how to court a female, and here he is, already mated and blessed with a whole nest of cubs!
"Alright, I’ll stop picking on him," Su Qinglan laughed, turning back to Lan Yue. "Where is the little fish fry? Did you give birth to another fry this time, or just these three little bunnies?"
Lan Yue nodded happily. "There is another fry! It’s Tang Wu’s cub. Bo Jian and Tang Wu took both the older fry and the newborn to the lake nearby. They must be playing and hunting right now, but they should be back soon!"
She then glanced at Tu Yelang. "Yelang, why don’t you go call them back?"
"Right away!" Tu Yelang nodded quickly and darted out the door like a startled rabbit.
Once he was gone, Su Qinglan took Lan Yue’s wrist, quietly running her healing power through her body to check her health.
"Good, your body recovered wonderfully," Su Qinglan noted with satisfaction.
Reaching into her gift basket, she pulled out a glowing, fragrant divine fruit. "Here, eat this. It will replenish your energy."
This was a rare divine fruit from An Mo’s garden in the Upper Domain, packed with pure spiritual nourishment for females and cubs alike.
Lan Yue took a big bite, and her eyes instantly sparkled with delight. "Mm! Sister, this is delicious!"
Su Qinglan looked down at the three tiny bunny cubs sleeping soundly in the basket. They were so ridiculously small that all three of them could easily fit in the palm of her single hand!
Looking at their delicate little forms, Su Qinglan reached her hand into her gift basket. Although she hadn’t packed any milk powder beforehand, her mind quietly connected with her system space.
Her system rewarded her with eight massive bottles of high-grade cub milk powder every single month, and a single container was huge enough to easily last an entire month for a cub.
This was a miraculous product specifically crafted by the system to strengthen a cub’s foundation, improve their talents, and boost their growth rate.
