Clumsy Beast, Keep Your Paws Off Chapter 751: Father Shi Feng Sold Us Out!

Everyone looked toward Su Qinglan. She smiled helplessly, her gaze softening as she watched the furry chaos.
"They’re still babies. Their wild instincts are much stronger than ours. If we force strict dining etiquette on them every single day, they’ll lose some of the joy of being little. When they grow older, they’ll naturally learn. So... let them enjoy themselves today."
The beast husbands exchanged looks before smiling helplessly. Since Lanlan had spoken, no one objected.
For the first time, none of the fathers stepped in to feed the cubs. Instead, the tiny beasts happily relied entirely on themselves biting, tugging, and wrestling.
Occasionally, a stray paw would smack a brother, sparking a brief, high-pitched growl, only for them to go right back to happily eating together five seconds later.
Compared to the battlefield on the left, one corner of the table was astonishingly peaceful.
Xuan Long sat quietly in his chair. Nestled comfortably in his broad lap, little Yue Yue drank from her milk bottle.
Gulu... Gulu...
She drank contentedly, her tail slashing against Xuan Long’s palm happily. Her cheeks looked noticeably rounder than before.
Seeing this, Xuan Long’s usually cold, stoic face unconsciously softened, his emerald eyes filled with endless affection.
"Our Yue... seems a little plumper today," he murmured softly, lightly touching her soft cheek.
His expression grew even more satisfied, though a quiet thought crossed his mind: Still too skinny. Needs to become rounder.
He looked toward the other cubs currently wrestling an entire roasted deer, then looked back at his tiny daughter.
No. My daughter must become even chubbier than them. I’ll feed her more.
Just then, a pair of wooden chopsticks appeared before his face.
Xuan Long blinked, looking up. Su Qinglan was smiling gently at him.
"You’ve only been feeding Yue," she said warmly. "You haven’t eaten a bite yourself. Open your mouth."
Without waiting for his response, she offered the tender piece of meat.
Xuan Long’s emerald eyes brightened instantly. The corners of his lips curved upward as he obediently leaned forward. "Aah."
He took the bite, chewing slowly as his gaze softened even further. "It’s delicious."
Su Qinglan chuckled. "I know. I like this flavor too."
Watching the interaction, An Mo who had been enthusiastically stuffing food into his own mouth, suddenly froze. He slowly looked at Su Qinglan, then at Xuan Long, and then back to Su Qinglan.
"...Lanlan," An Mo whined, his voice sounding deeply aggrieved.
Su Qinglan blinked. "Hm?"
"I want one too."
"..."
"From your chopsticks."
Without thinking much of it, she picked up another piece and fed him.
An Mo immediately leaned over with a triumphant grin. "Delicious!"
Seeing this, Hu Yan quietly pushed his bowl forward. "I haven’t tried that dish either."
Shi Feng calmly added, "I think this fish looks rather good."
Rong Ye coughed lightly, looking away. "...Me too."
Even Han Jue looked over silently, his intent entirely clear.
Su Qinglan stared at her lined-up husbands, stunned. "...You all..."
Before she could finish, An Mo grinned shamelessly. "Fairness! You fed one, so you must feed everyone."
Half an hour later, Su Qinglan’s arm was thoroughly sore. Only after every single husband had successfully received food from her chopsticks were they finally satisfied.
Across the table, Shen Mochen quietly watched the scene unfold. A faint, helpless laugh escaped him as he shook his head with genuine warmth.
"What a family..."
Yet, deep within his smiling eyes, a trace of loneliness quietly flickered before disappearing just as quickly. He lowered his head to pour some tea before anyone could notice.
Beside him, little Duo Duo had finally managed to secure her own share of roasted deer. Since she lacked sharp claws, Shen Mochen patiently tore the tender meat into tiny, bite-sized pieces for her.
"So yummy!" Duo Duo cheered, her mouth full.
Shen Mochen couldn’t help smiling again, his thumb brushing a bit of oil from her cheek. "Eat slowly. No one’s stealing yours."
By the time lunch finally concluded, a strange silence descended upon the dining hall. Everyone turned their gaze toward the cubs.
"..."
Su Qinglan covered her mouth, while the beast husbands quickly looked away to hide their embarrassment.
The little beasts no longer resembled fluffy cubs; they looked as though they had been dumped headfirst into an entire pot of greasy soup. Oil covered every inch of their fur, sauce was smeared across their faces, tiny meat scraps clung to their ears, and their tails dripped with grease.
Su Qinglan clicked her tongue playfully. "Oh, my little piglets."
The cubs blinked innocently. "Aw?"
She offered them a sweet, radiant smile. "So... it’s bath time."
The three elder cubs instantly stiffened.
Before they could even think of escaping...
Splash! Splash! Splash!
One after another, every single cub was dropped into an enormous wooden bath barrel. Water splashed everywhere. While the younger cubs blinked in confusion, the three older brothers grew deathly pale.
Su Qinglan rolled up her sleeves, her smile turning impossibly bright and deeply dangerous.
"Now then... who wants Mommy to bathe them?"
The younger cubs merely tilted their heads, but the three older brothers felt their pupils shrink to tiny points. Memories of warm water, sweet soap, and their mother’s smiling face...followed by relentless, merciless scrubbing that felt like it would strip off their outer layer of fur and resurfaced with terrifying clarity.
They shuddered from head to tail.
Xiao Yi immediately stood up in the barrel, his tiny face incomparably serious. "Mother. I suddenly think... Father Shi Feng’s bathing skills are much better."
Xiao Er nodded so hard his ears flopped violently. "Very gentle!"
Xiao San raised both tiny hands in surrender. "We absolutely don’t want to trouble Mother! We can let Father Shi Feng do it!"
Xiao Yi even forced an exceptionally sweet, obedient smile. "So Mother can rest."
His silky little voice was so sweet that Hu Yan nearly choked on his laugh.
Su Qinglan’s eyelid twitched. "Oh? I thought all of you loved Mother the most. I never expected... that you all suddenly love Father Shi Feng so much."
The three cubs smiled so hard their little cheeks turned stiff.
"Of course we love Mother!"
"But..."
"Father also needs chances to show his fatherly love!"
Shi Feng’s lips slowly twitched upward into a devious, unhurried smirk.
He crossed his arms over his chest, casually leaning back against the bathhouse wall as his dark eyes glinted with absolute amusement.
"No, no..." Shi Feng snickered, his voice smooth, clear, and utterly heartless. "I wouldn’t dream of stealing your mother’s special bonding time. I think my fatherly love is best demonstrated by standing right here and watching you all get squeaky clean."
He gave the three scheming little cubs a victorious smile. "In fact, I insist. Mommy should show you all her love today."
The three elder cubs froze solid.
Traitor! Father Shi Feng is an absolute evil traitor!
...
"Scrub, scrub, scrub, till the fur turns bright."
"If you run from Mommy, I will scrub you all night!"
"La la la~ No greasy cubs allowed in bed!"
...
"AWOOOOOO! MY FUR! MY PRECIOUS STRIPES ARE BEING SCRUBBED OFF!"
"SAVE US! FATHER HU YAN, SAVE YOUR FIRSTBORN!"
"I’M A SNAKE! SNAKES DON’T NEED SOAP! WE SHED OUR SKIN! WE SHED IT, MOMMY!
