He patted his robes down and immediately walked toward the front door. Behind him, Xiao Yi and Xiao Er, the energetic tiger cubs, trailed closely after him.

Their little ears twitched with deep curiosity, eager to see who had come to visit so early.

The moment Hu Yan pulled open the heavy wooden door, he was greeted by a mix of familiar and unfamiliar faces standing on the snow-dusted porch.

The tiger cubs, who were peeking curiously from behind Hu Yan’s massive legs, instantly darted forward the moment they spotted Lan Yue and Mo Xiao Li.

However, the unruly cubs chose to swarm Mo Xiao Li first. They happily rubbed their furry heads against his arms and waist, purring like small engines.

"Come in, come in! Sit down in the main hall and get warm," Hu Yan urged them warmly, ushering the nervous group inside.
