The spiritual plant family arrived and asked to stay in Dragon Beast City. Su Qinglan agreed, but a new problem arose: where would fifty spiritual plants live during the harsh winter? An Mo suggested they stay in his house, which would allow him to move into Su Qinglan's main house permanently.

The cubs didn’t care about the adult drama. They were just thrilled!

"Yay! Uncle An Mo is staying with us!"

Xiao San was the happiest of them all. He ran over on his chubby little legs, lifting his tiny arms up high.

"Uncle, hug!"

An Mo’s expression instantly melted. He laughed warmly, scooping the little cub up into his arms and planting a happy, loud kiss right on his cheek.

Xiao San giggled, burying his face in An Mo’s shoulder.

Seeing that everything was settled, Stove felt like he was floating on a cloud.

’They’re staying! She’s not leaving!’

The proud plant practically vibrated with pure joy, his leaves rustling like crazy.

Now, it was time for action. The rest of the clan was still waiting in the freezing wilderness.

"We will go back and guide them," Little Hua’s father decided, standing up straight.

Little Hua’s father, mother, and three of her older cousin siblings prepared to leave immediately. They had to fetch the remaining uncles, aunts, and the rest of the spiritual plants before the blizzard completely blocked the path.

"Be careful out there," Su Qinglan warned gently.

"Do not worry, Qinglan. We will return swiftly," the father plant promised.

To keep them safe, Little Hua, the old grandfather, and a very eager Stove stayed behind in the warm house, waiting for the rest of the family to arrive.

Meanwhile...

Inside the City Lord’s residence, the atmosphere was much quieter.

Yin Feng stood alone in the courtyard early in the morning. His expression looked calm as always, but anyone who knew him well could feel the faint worry hidden deep in his eyes.

It had already been more than seven days since the winter storms began to grow stronger.

But his sons still had not returned.

He had promised Wang Mulan that he would go out and find them if anything went wrong. And now, he could no longer sit still.

After finishing a quick breakfast, Yin Feng finally made his decision.

He turned his head toward the direction of the massive city gates. Without another word, his body shifted.

’Whoosh!’

A powerful surge of wind energy burst violently around him.

In the next moment, a massive hawk soared straight into the sky. Its wings cut through the freezing air as it flew far beyond the safety of Dragon Beast City.

Clouds drifted below like a white sea as the giant hawk scanned the endless mountains.

The wind was sharp. The world was vast. But he did not slow down.

He searched carefully. His sharp eyes moved across every peak, every valley, and every shadow hidden in the thick snow.

Time slowly passed. The sun began to dip toward the horizon, painting the sky a golden-orange that mixed with the cold blue winter twilight.

It was already evening.

Yin Feng let out a low, piercing hawk cry as he continued flying forward.

Then he suddenly stopped mid-air. His golden eyes narrowed into slits. Far ahead, he saw something moving.

Five figures flying through the sky.

At first, he thought it was just an illusion caused by his exhaustion. But the closer they flew, the more familiar they seemed.

His heart suddenly tightened.

Without hesitation, he flapped his wings and shot forward at full speed, the wind roaring loudly in his ears.

Closer... Closer...

And then, he saw them clearly.

Three young men with almost identical faces... Yin Chen, Yin Shen, and Yin Lie. And flying right beside them were the two sons of the Hawk Tribe leader.

All five were flying together, still arguing and laughing even in mid-air!

For a moment, Yin Feng almost froze in relief. Then, his bottled-up emotions completely exploded.

"YOU FIVE BRATS!!"

A furious, thunderous hawk cry echoed across the entire sky.

The five young men instantly turned their heads. Their expressions completely changed the moment they saw the massive, angry hawk rushing toward them like a cannonball.

"Father?!" Yin Lie almost choked on his own spit.

"Why is he here?!" Yin Shen blinked in disbelief.

"...Are we dead?" Yin Chen immediately straightened his posture. "Quick! Act normal!"

But it was already too late. Yin Feng loomed over them like a dark cloud.

He didn’t transform in the air. Instead, he flapped his massive wings authoritatively, giving them a fierce, non-negotiable warning.

"GET DOWN! ALL OF YOU! NOW!"

The five young men didn’t dare to delay. Terrified, they immediately dove toward the snowy ground below.

The moment their feet hit the solid earth, the giant hawk descended right after them. A heavy gust of wind exploded outward as Yin Feng instantly shifted into his humanoid beast form.

Before anyone could even breathe, Yin Feng marched forward and grabbed the nearest son Yin Lie firmly by the ear!

"Do you know how many days your mother has been worrying for you?!" Yin Feng roared.

"Father! Father! It hurts!" Yin Lie winced, bending over to save his ear.

Yin Shen quickly raised his hands in surrender. "It was the snow! The snow delayed us, we swear!"

"We were hunting! We didn’t waste time!" Yin Chen nodded rapidly, trying to back up his brother.

The two sons of the tribe leader immediately stepped back, trying their absolute best to look invisible against the snowy backdrop.

Yin Feng’s sharp eyes swept over all of them, checking for injuries. Then, his gaze softened just a tiny fraction. They were safe. He slowly let out a heavy breath he didn’t realize he had been holding for the entire day.

Still, he snorted coldly. "So many days. And not a single message sent back. You think Dragon Beast City is going to wait for you forever?"

Yin Lie scratched his head awkwardly, his ear still red. "...We got stuck."

Yin Shen added quickly, "But we survived!"

"Very well!" Yin Chen nodded again.

Yin Feng stared at the rebellious trio for a few tense seconds. Then, finally, he let out a long sigh.

"We are going back immediately."

The five young men immediately relaxed, letting out a collective sigh of relief.

"...At least you idiots made it this far alive," he muttered quietly under his breath.

Without another word, he turned and led them back home through the evening sky.

And behind him, the five young men quietly followed.
