Asher received fatherly advice from Azaron before departing for the Frontier. He also learned about the complexities of teleportation and the necessity of a coachman for the return journey. After a brief farewell, Asher researched the Fifteenth Primarch, Runera Wargrave, discovering her reputation as a chaotic warrior known as the 'Sovereign of Battlefields.' He then prepared to leave the Wargrave Estate with his coachman, Kent.

"Young Master, you can simply think of the horses as mutated versions of the Enduron horse. They possess greater speed, strength, and stamina than the Enduron horse." He began to speak. "The journey to the Third Great Elder’s Frontier would take us about three months if we used an Enduron horse, but with this new ride, we would get there within three weeks to a month at most." He stated, then gestured towards the carriage as he spoke. "The carriage is crafted to withstand the power of the two mutated Enduron horses, as if we used the usual carriage, it would fall apart within a couple of minutes."

The man explained everything in one full breath without pausing, as though he was too excited about heading to the Frontier.

"Cool." Asher replied flatlly after a moment of silence.

He turned towards Lyra, then nodded before climbing into the carriage with a calm expression. He sat down and gazed out the window, looking at the Wargrave Estate and wondering when he would return here next.

’I wonder if I will die at the Frontier.’ He couldn’t help but have such random thoughts.

’I guess I will be having my twentieth birthday at the Frontier.’ He thought to himself as he leaned back into his seat, getting comfortable, as he understood that this journey was going to be a long one.

Lyra sat opposite him as Coachman Kent took his place at the front. Within a couple of minutes, the carriage rolled forward, and true to Kent’s words, these Monster horses were indeed fast. It didn’t take more than a couple of minutes to reach the Wargrave Territory wall.

And with that, Asher’s journey to the Frontier began.

Asher stared outside for a moment as the world in his view was nothing but a blur. After a moment of staring outside, he simply fell into his cultivation state since he had nothing to do. Seeing that Asher was focused on cultivation, Lyra said nothing and simply focused on sensing the surrounding area to make sure they weren’t ambushed.

Days passed, and soon, a week went by. During that first week, Asher had already broken through to the Flare sub-Life Rank, becoming stronger yet again. During that week, they had to rest three times, not because they were tired, but because Coachman Kent was an unawakened, a normal person in essence.

While he could stay awake for two days without feeling sleepy, by the third day, he couldn’t help but want to sleep. Asher and Lyra understood, as it wasn’t like they had anything they were rushing to meet up with anyway.

If they had wanted to get there without stopping so many times, they would have requested an awakened Coachman.

Lyra knew of Asher’s breakthrough, but she didn’t say congratulations; she simply remained silent. Even after his breakthrough, Asher didn’t stop cultivating. He simply continued like a madman, barely speaking to Lyra or making conversation about anything.

Kent was the only one who talked once in a while, whenever he woke up from his sleep after his usual rest. Two weeks passed, and nothing eventful happened. There were no Monster attacks, no sudden Emovira movements, nothing. It wasn’t that the road was entirely safe, but Lyra served as the deterrent, allowing a flicker of her presence to remain in the air to keep away anything and everything.

But as they went deeper into the forest, she knew she had to erase her presence, because if she didn’t, End-class Monsters might pick it up and think their territory was being invaded, thereby awakening from their hibernation.

"Young Master, sorry to disturb your cultivation, but we have incoming." Lyra’s voice came, her tone flat, as the incoming threat wasn’t exactly a danger, but she had to inform the Young Master anyway.

Asher’s eyes flickered open as he stopped cultivating, his mind and body shifting into a passive cultivation state. His purple eyes shifted towards the window as he spoke.

"I will handle it." He stated, the carriage coming to a stop as Kent halted it.

Stepping out of the carriage, Monsters poured from the forest in waves, as though they were moving in a pack. They came from all directions, like ants drawn to sugar.

"Crown-class Monsters." Asher murmured.

They were the seventh-ranked Monsters on the ranking. The Monsters seemed like Lycans, standing nine feet in height, with bulging muscles and fur covering their bodies. Saliva dripped from their maws, running between their razor-sharp teeth.

Asher didn’t take a step forward. His finger curled around the hilt of his rapier, and with a slow motion, he unsheathed it, then stopped halfway, sheathing the weapon back.

The moment the weapon clicked back into place, the wave of Lycans seemed to pause in their steps. The next moment, thin silver lines ran across their bodies in various directions before their bodies splattered into minced meat, blood pooling on the ground.

But Asher didn’t stop. He leaped into the air as he performed a backflip over the carriage, as Lycans were moving in from the other side as well. While midair, he performed the same half-unsheathing and sheathing motion. The Lycans died before they could even reach the carriage, limbs flying in various directions and bodies bisected from the waist.

Asher landed with a deft touch, his hands behind his back. The stench of blood was suffocating, as there had been literally over seventy Lycans, but he had slaughtered them all.

Kent stood speechless as he watched. It was one thing to watch the livestream from his home almost a year ago, and another to witness it with his own eyes. The smell of blood didn’t phase him; he simply enjoyed the chaos instead, regretting even more that he couldn’t awaken.

"There are more coming, Young Master, and they aren’t Lycans this time." Lyra’s voice came again, her head shifting upwards.

Asher remained silent for a moment, then spoke, "It seems the Monsters are becoming more active as we get closer to the Frontier." He guessed.

"It seems so, Young Master." Lyra replied, as she had come to the same conclusion.

It was as though these Monsters were attacking almost anything that remotely looked like a carriage, only keeping their distance when they sensed the presence of a Crownstar Life Ranker or End-Class Monster.

"We might have to fight our way to the Frontier." Asher stated. His knees dipped forward ever so slightly, then, with a gentle leap, he surged into the sky. The moment he burst out from the canopy of trees, his eyes fell on a group of flying Monsters.

The moment their eyes landed on Asher, they unleashed a blast of sound waves without a shred of mercy. But the moment the sound waves reached him, he simply slapped them aside. The sound wave slammed into the ground, tearing through trees and damaging the forest.

Before gravity could act on Asher, Virelass flashed once more as his swordsmanship came alive. Before the flying Monsters could unleash another sound blast attack, their bodies were torn apart, green blood pouring from the sky like rain as flesh and torn limbs descended.

Asher landed on the ground yet again, his purple eyes snapping towards Kent as he spoke.

"Start moving." His tone remained calm. "We can’t stay in one place for long, or we might be surrounded." His voice was level.
