Celestial Bloodline Chapter 1001: It’s all because of him II

~4 minute read · 1,056 words

In the end, Mirabel, who was floating the closest to the Celestial Symbol, reached it first. Her hand instantly closed around the shimmering Snowflake without hesitation.

Under the murderous gazes of Yizhe and the other Rulers, who looked ready to tear her apart at any second, she absorbed the Celestial Symbol in one decisive motion.

The instant it entered her body, a terrifying surge of power erupted from within her. The cold energy of the Celestial Symbol spread rapidly through her body, causing her aura to soar, instantly turning it terrifyingly cold.

Seeing the other Rulers stop in their tracks, Mirabel threw her head back and laughed.

Her figure floated upward as a beautiful snowflake symbol slowly emerged on her forehead, glowing with an ethereal light.

Amidst her laughter came her arrogant declaration that chilled everyone present.

"Hahahaha, I am the strongest now! I, Mirabel, am the strongest Celestial now!"

Seeing the Rulers move back, as if they were all considering fleeing the place, Mirabel clicked her tongue in disdain and met Yizhe’s gaze. There was no trace of reverence or regard toward him left in her ecstatic eyes. What remained was just mock amusement, as though she were savoring the expression on his face.

"No need to be so afraid, Yizhe. I won’t harm you or any of the Rulers who follow us. After all, we’re on the same side."

She paused, her lips curling upward.

"It’s just..."

Mirabel slowly leaned her body forward, lowering her voice into a chilling whisper.

"...the leader needs to be changed."

Her gaze remained fixed on Yizhe as her smile became arrogant and sinister.

"Right?"

Yizhe’s nails dug painfully into his palms, his body trembling with unwillingness. Yet, sensing her still-rising aura, he could only force a strained, ugly smile in response.

After all, now he had no other choice!

Around him, the other Rulers remained tense and silent, their expressions grim.

Watching this scene and seeing how everyone he loved—including his mother—seemed to have fallen into a despairing daze, tears slipped down Amon’s cheeks.

A choked whisper escaped him.

"This is... what all of you wanted to see."

His figure staggered backward.

"Now, it’s even more difficult for us to survive."

His voice trembled with pain.

"And it’s all his fault!"

Just as his words fell, a soft, slightly cold touch suddenly settled on his head. Long fingers gently stroked his silver hair, the touch carrying a warmth that contrasted strangely with its chilling temperature.

Then came a deep voice.

"Hmm..."

The single sound seemed to reverberate through the entire space, freezing everyone.

It was a voice tinged with the heavy weight of regret for being so late. Yet beneath that guilt lay an unmistakable majesty—a power so immense that merely hearing it seemed to make the surrounding air slow its pace.

"It’s all my fault."

The voice that so easily acknowledged Amon’s blame was very calm and serene, yet it made everyone’s hearts tremble.

Amon froze.

Even Caria and Leon, who were standing closest to him, immediately froze in place.

Amidst the silence, Amon was the first to slowly raise his head, his body trembling as he looked at the tall man who had appeared beside him at some point without making a sound. Finally, he met a pair of calm eyes.

They were the same color as his own, yet somehow different. The green eyes looking at him from above held a bottomless depth he had never seen before—countless stars seemed to shimmer brightly within them, accompanied by an unfathomable power.

Yet despite that overwhelming presence, those powerful eyes silently looking down at him held nothing but genuine affection.

Amon’s lips parted, but no words came out.

Instead, his tears fell even more freely, as though the instant he finally saw the person they had all been waiting and searching for, he could no longer hold back the sadness and grievance he had kept buried inside.

With a sigh, Kyle gently tapped Amon’s nose, which had turned red from crying.

"So, the little ice cube also knows how to cry."

Finally, everyone in the surroundings mustered the courage to look toward him.

He looked somewhat different from before. There was no longer any aura around him.

Clad in pure white, even his hair had turned completely white. Yet there wasn’t a single person present who didn’t recognize him.

It was Kyle!

He had returned!

Finally, upon seeing him after so long, Yue, Nine, James, Hubert, and the others were filled with overwhelming relief and delight.

However, the expressions of the Rulers around them were completely different. Every single one of them looked terrified.

Their bodies started trembling as an instinctive fear spread through them.

After all, the person standing before them was someone they all thought was dead.

Someone they had never wanted to see again. But... that Ice Devil had returned!

Mirabel’s floating figure nearly dropped from the air in fear. Her eyes trembled as she stared at the ethereal figure—a man she could never mistake for anyone else.

Kyle finally lifted his gaze from Amon.

He turned toward the others.

Seeing him finally move, the Rulers froze, some of them struggling even to breathe.

Yet Kyle didn’t spare them even a glance.

It was as if they—the so-called Rulers, the strongest of all other Celestials—weren’t even worthy of a moment of his attention.

His gaze simply swept toward the people he knew. When he saw their injured figures, his expression remained calm.

There was no trace of the emotions Kyle had shown moments ago, making it almost seem as though those brief emotions had been nothing more than a fleeting illusion.

Still, a white radiance emerged from his fingertips, illuminating his surroundings.

The moment the white radiance touched Alec and Asher, their injuries began healing at an astonishing speed. In the blink of an eye, even their most severe, deep wounds vanished as though they had never existed.

The radiance continued spreading.

It didn’t touch the Rulers but swept across the others one after another, restoring their bodies and healing every injury in its path.

In mere moments, everyone Kyle had glanced at was completely healed.
