Su Ping reflects on his journey to the Heavenly Tomb and his newfound understanding of souls. He explains to the Water Venerable clone how External Incarnation works and proposes a bold new idea inspired by the clone's unique nature and the Yaksha King's severed arm. He gathers Meng Yao and Zhu Hong to assist him in a new, potentially history-making experiment.

How could a single arm be used to create history? How could such an arm bring about a special advancement that would be remembered in the history of Beastmasters?

This question lingered in the minds of Meng Yao and Zhu Hong, making them intensely curious.

Meanwhile, after taking out the arm of the Sea King Yaksha, Su Ping made no further movements. Instead, he closed his eyes and fell deep into thought.

What he was about to do was something only he could accomplish. Even the people beside him could only act as assistants. In fact, for Su Ping, this very first step might be the most difficult one of all.

Previously, the God of Spring had taught him the Life Embryo Ability of Life Sculpture. Now, Su Ping had to figure out a way to surpass that teaching and improve upon it!

Indeed, what he needed to do at this very moment was to find a way to carve the Life Sculpture’s Life Embryo Ability onto this arm. He wanted to make this arm form a completely self-consistent flow of Life and a channel for Energy circulation, ultimately allowing it to perform the basic functions of a corresponding Life form.

Turning a severed arm into a Life was a wildly imaginative concept. Even if others could conjure up such a miraculous idea, they would likely be utterly incapable of executing it. This was the Ability that the God of Spring had helped bestow upon him. However, the reason the Life Embryo could succeed was that it was inherently a seed of a Plant-based Life form. How could a mere arm achieve all of this?

Undoubtedly, to achieve this, relying solely on the God of Spring’s gift and the experience of carving the Life Embryo would not be of much use. If it had been before, he wouldn’t have even been able to solve this first problem—unless the God of Spring were to reawaken. Furthermore, Su Ping had reason to doubt that even if the God of Spring did wake up, it would still be a stretch for him to help Su Ping reach this step in a short amount of Time.

However, the recent improvement of the Paperman Record had given him some inspiration. If even a single piece of paper could bear the birth of a Soul Body and create an entirely new Pet Beast, then why couldn’t the fleshy remains of a former Pet Beast do the same?

More importantly, the Life Embryo of Life Sculpture required grafting and connecting with Plant-based Pet Beasts to give birth to true Life and spawn Soul Consciousness. Su Ping, however, could completely utilize the previous method of birthing Papermen to guide Soul Power into this specially molded body, creating an entirely new Life.

This was the reason for Su Ping’s confidence, and it was the method he had thought of from the very beginning.

A familiar sensation washed over him. His mastery of the soul rules allowed Su Ping to slowly reach out his hand, gently imparting a special, profound Power into the arm.

He was not in a hurry to modify it. The main reason this arm had remained in perfect condition even after more than half a year of Time had passed—not only not rotting but still incredibly fresh and vibrant—was due to its original owner. As a Spirit Saint Level Yaksha King, and a Pet Beast renowned for its physical strength, its body possessed a certain uniqueness.

A soul—especially one formed by an extremely weak self-consciousness and Spirit—could not normally reside within an arm. Modifying this arm required a general understanding of its structure. Thus, as strands of Soul Power slowly swept through the arm, Su Ping extended his Perception with unparalleled meticulousness.

Within the arm, even as a severed appendage, and even though it belonged to a humanoid Pet Beast rather than a human, there were numerous special meridian networks. More importantly, although the arm was made of flesh and blood, every drop of blood and every cell contained a massive amount of Water Element.

This Water Element preserved the arm’s vitality while also ensuring that it still retained a portion of its original Power. It was precisely because of this that Su Ping had chosen it for his first attempt, making it his primary test subject.

The Perception of his Soul Power and the complete infiltration of his spiritual power allowed Su Ping to quickly grasp every detail of the Yaksha King’s arm. It could even be said that, at this moment, his understanding of this arm surpassed the understanding he had of his own. After all, he would absolutely never consider storing his soul in his arm instead of his brain. That was far too abstract and inconceivable.

However, this was exactly the result Su Ping wanted. He fell into deep thought and subsequently took out an object—a Soul Crystal.

Soul Crystals were relatively special among all Undead Series resources. The reason was simple: their Level was not fixed. Because they were the remains left behind after the Death of an Undead Series Ferocious Beast or Pet Beast, they could range anywhere from the Elite Level to the Spirit Saint Level. The only difference lay in their concentration and size.

The one Su Ping had taken out was merely a Monarch Level Soul Crystal.

A Soul Crystal was a remnant formed by the solidification of ethereal Soul Power. However, since it was a condensation of the soul, it could naturally disperse as well, much like the relationship between water and ice. Water could freeze into ice, and ice could naturally melt back into water.

At this moment, under Su Ping’s urging, the Soul Crystal containing Soul Power slowly melted and actually fused right into the severed appendage.
