Kotonoha battles a monstrous, multi-powered demon that has absorbed other demons. Meanwhile, Hermione, realizing the inadequacy of her current magical studies against powerful threats, decides to learn celestial magic from Jellal. Jellal prepares for her training and reveals his plan to use Voldemort's revived soul as a sacrifice for the Tower of Paradise.

"A sacrifice?"

Aura froze, and the confused look on his face slowly faded. He finally understood what his master had in mind.

As Gerard’s most loyal servant, Aura knew the Tower of Paradise inside and out. The tower needed sacrifices to operate, and those sacrifices were souls.

The R System inside the Tower of Paradise absorbed souls and turned them into spirit crystals. These spirit crystals provided the energy needed to power the magic array. The more energy it had, the greater the chance that his master could return to his peak.

At that thought, a happy smile appeared on Aura’s face. If it was Voldemort’s soul, then it would certainly make an excellent sacrifice.

"As expected of my great master. You really do think far ahead!" Aura sighed deeply. "Compared with you, Aura’s way of thinking is still far too shallow."

"You only instinctively felt that Voldemort might threaten me." Gerard saw straight through his thoughts and said calmly, "There’s no need to worry about that."

After all, he hadn’t really lost his powers. The Tower of Paradise had originally only been meant for entertainment.

"I understand, Master." Aura nodded and bowed slightly. "Do you have any other orders?"

"How is that rat I asked you to deal with?"

"I’ve implanted new memories in it. Aura can guarantee that nothing will go wrong."

"Good. Go."

"Yes."

A black void opened, and Aura’s figure slowly disappeared.

"How was eavesdropping?" Gerard asked calmly, his eyes turning toward the door.

"Hmm, the sound quality was a little poor." Luna pushed open the door and walked in with tiny steps. There wasn’t the slightest hint of embarrassment on her face at having listened in on someone else’s conversation. Instead, she said matter-of-factly, "Maybe next time something like this happens, I should cast a sound-amplifying spell on myself."

"Would just amplifying the sound be enough? Why not add a see-through spell while you’re at it?" Gerard said without expression.

"But the spell for seeing through things is too complicated. I might miss some important details while casting it." Luna thought for a moment before answering, "So sound amplification is all I need."

"Fine. Next time, I’ll play along and pretend I don’t know what you’re doing." Gerard sat back down in his chair and opened the Daily Prophet on his desk.

There didn’t seem to be any interesting news today. It was mostly the same old topics and a few unverified rumors. For example, traces of Bigfoot had supposedly been found near the Northern Ireland border, even though those creatures were meant to have gone extinct fifty years ago.

Their brains and blood were excellent ingredients for alchemy. On the black market, they could fetch as much as two thousand Galleons per gram. Driven by such enormous profits, people had hunted them to the brink of extinction.

Of course, the main reason was that Bigfoot couldn’t be raised in captivity. They couldn’t reproduce or grow in an artificial environment, and they would even stop eating after being captured.

"So you really plan to resurrect Voldemort?" Luna sat naturally on Gerard’s bed and even took off her shoes. "He probably won’t cooperate with you."

"He will. He won’t be able to resist the temptation of resurrection." Gerard sounded completely certain.

As the Chief God, or, in the Eastern system of mythology, someone at the level of a Great Immortal, could he really fail to deal with a little Voldemort? He might as well give up on godhood and go home to sell sweet potatoes.

"Are you using the resurrection spell?" Luna raised an eyebrow.

Having inherited Ravenclaw’s memories, Luna naturally knew about the resurrection spell. It had been created jointly by the vile Herpo and Slytherin.

Unfortunately, neither of those infamous men had ever used the spell on themselves. That was because the spell required a Horcrux as a prerequisite.

"Too primitive." Gerard shook his head and rejected the idea.

The resurrection spell could certainly bring back Voldemort, whose soul had been placed inside a Horcrux. But this method clearly wouldn’t produce the complete Voldemort Gerard wanted. To him, a defective version wasn’t even worthy of becoming a sacrifice for the Tower of Paradise.

Luna fell silent. After thinking for a long while, she finally raised her head again. Her eyes shone as she stared at Gerard, and one eyebrow lifted slightly.

"You’re not planning to..."

"You guessed it. The Tower of Paradise." Gerard smiled lightly. "And Harry Potter."

The R System installed in the Tower of Paradise had been created for resurrection in the first place. Combined with the fragment of Voldemort’s soul inside Harry Potter, it would surely allow Voldemort to be reborn perfectly.

"You’re really willing to spend that much." Luna shook her head lightly. Even she had to admire the scale of the young man’s plan. But when she thought about it carefully, it did sound quite interesting. "I want to watch the whole process!"

"Sure."

"Will Harry Potter die?"

"No."

"That’s too bad."

Looking at Luna’s disappointed expression, the corner of Gerard’s mouth twitched slightly. What on earth had happened between her and Harry Potter? Why was she so eager to watch him die?

"That Harry always ignores Ginny’s feelings." Luna explained the reason, her voice drifting off. "He needs to be taught a lesson."

"That lesson seems a little too harsh." Gerard sighed without expression.

Just so her best friend could get together with some guy, Luna’s solution was to kill the guy her friend liked? What kind of ridiculous idea was that? Had Ravenclaw’s personality really influenced this girl that deeply?

"The R System can bring him back even if he dies." Luna understood what he meant and waved her hand dismissively. "But an unforgettable experience right before death would make it much easier for him to remember a certain girl."

Was she trying to use the R System to play matchmaker?

Gerard didn’t even know how to comment on this anymore. What kind of devilish matchmaker was this girl?

"Fine. If he can’t really die, then forget it." Fortunately, Luna eventually gave up on the idea. "If all else fails, I can make Ginny a love potion and help them seal the deal."

Uh...

Gerard fell silent again for a moment. He looked at Luna as if she were a horned demon. Love potions and helping them seal the deal, were these really things a first-year witch should be saying?

This was completely absurd!

It seemed Luna really needed some psychological counseling. If this continued, she might well turn into one of those dark, scheming people who constantly radiated an aura of evil.
