Enkrid joined his first true battle, defending against knights and soldiers with his allies. Jericho fought a knight to a standstill before defeating him, and the Dawnblades repelled the attackers. They reported the incident to the Adventurer's Guild, suspecting a powerful entity was trying to expose them, possibly using shamans to bypass Enkrid's mask. Following the confrontation, the Dawnblades went into hiding for six months, focusing on low-profile missions and building their strength through daring raids in the Red Marsh Forest, gaining unexpected fame among commoners and adventurers.

"Right... It’s some time since the last supply... Let’s return." Jericho said excitedly.

For six months, Atrium City had grown accustomed to the presence of their group, the Dawnblades.

After the confrontation with the knight and their soldiers, the group had decided to minimize their actions, keeping their heads low and avoiding unnecessary attention.

They no longer flaunted their strength, nor did they seek out high-profile missions that would draw the eyes of nobles.

Instead, they focused on steady work... eliminating low-tier corrupted beasts, gathering herbs, delivering supplies, and completing requests that other adventurers ignored once they grew stronger.

It was a deliberate strategy. Jericho reminded them often about their mission...

To spread the influence of the Arcane Arts...

Just like that, Ruth moved, knowing that the path they were waiting for the stabilization of the void between realms, required patience.

Fame was dangerous, but a steady reputation among commoners and guilds was useful.

Enkrid, once hunted and forced to wear Ruth’s rune mask, now walked freely through the streets.

The Sovereign-Grade Artifact they had acquired shielded him from detection, and the nobles who had once hired shamans to pierce his disguise seemed to have run out of coin.

Well, hiring shamans was expensive, and without steady funding, their enemies could no longer afford to track him. Thanks to that Enkrid felt a measure of peace.

He no longer wore the mask constantly, and he could move about Atrium City without fear of recognition.

Thanks to that, the Dawnblades’ reputation grew in unexpected ways. While other adventurers became picky, refusing low-tier requests once they advanced, the Dawnblades accepted everything. They cleared corrupted beasts from farms, delivered goods to villages, and gathered herbs for healers.

Their willingness to take on simple tasks endeared them to the people.

Merchants praised their reliability, guild officials admired their consistency, and commoners spoke of them as protectors who did not consider themselves above humble work...

Yet beneath this modest image lay their true strength.

The Dawnblades had established a base within Atrium City, a place that was far more than a simple hideout.

It was supersafe, fortified with layers of formations and wards. At its heart was a special Transport Array, a formation array that allowed them to receive supplies from their true realm... the Human Realm.

The base was hidden beneath an unassuming building, its entrance disguised as a storage cellar. Only those marked with Ruth’s runes could pass through the wards.

Inside, the walls shimmered faintly with protective runes, and the air carried the hum of controlled void energy.

The basement was the most secure chamber, protected by twenty layers of formation designed to conceal the traces of void manipulation.

It was here that they gathered after missions, discussing their progress and planning their next steps. Ruth often stood at the center of the array, her hands weaving symbols as she communicated with Cyper, their contact in the Human Realm. Through this array, they had already received rare herbs, enchanted tools, and the Philosopher’s Elixir that had transformed both Enkrid and Stella.

Now, they are prepared for another delivery.

Cyper had promised to send more advanced weapons, along with additional Philosopher’s Elixirs. The Dawnblades knew the risks of using the elixir, but they also understood its value.

Each successful recruit strengthened their cause, and each survivor of the elixir became a potential Arcanist.

As they descended into the basement, the atmosphere grew heavy.

The twenty-layer formation glowed faintly, and soon, each barrier was humming with restrained power. Jericho carried crates of supplies to the side, while Cecilia and Cielo checked the wards for stability.

Enkrid, however, followed with his eyes wide as he observed the intricate runes etched into the walls.

"This place... it feels alive," he muttered.

Ruth nodded. "It’s amazing, isn’t it? The void responds to control. That’s why we hide it beneath layers of formation. If anyone outside sensed this, they would know we are not ordinary adventurers."

Enkrid touched one of the glowing runes... feeling the faint pulse beneath his fingers.

He still struggled to comprehend the scale of what the Dawnblades were building. They were not simply adventurers... they were pioneers, bridging realms, preparing for something far greater than Atrium City.

Soon, the array activated.

A low hum filled the chamber, and the air glowed as a portal of light opened at the center. Within moments, crates materialized, bearing the seal of the Human Realm’s Shadow Domain. Ruth stepped forward, and swiftly inspected the max!

"Cyper delivered," she said. "Weapons, elixirs, and more supplies."

Jericho opened one of the crates, revealing finely crafted blades, their edges glowing faintly with enchantments.

Cecilia inspected another, finding vials of Philosopher’s Elixir carefully sealed.

Cielo lifted a smaller box, discovering scrolls of advanced techniques.

"This will change everything," Jericho muttered. "With these, we can expand further. The Red Marsh Forest will no longer be our limit."

Ruth smiled faintly. "That’s right. I think we have become more famous than ever for a different reason... Fame is already creeping upon us, even though we tried to avoid it. If we suddenly leap to higher-tier missions, the nobles will notice again. For now, we continue as we have..."

Enkrid listened quietly as he looked at the various Artifacts that seemed to possess power so incredible that the Adventurers couldn’t take their eyes off.

Still, he was most interested in the pack of Elixirs... He had survived the elixir bought, fought alongside the Dawnblades, and now stood in a base that connected two realms.

Yet he still dreamed of knighthood, of honor and recognition.

The path before him was vast, and he wondered if his current status as an Arcane Knight Apprentice was the best option he had...

"W-wait... That sword. Is that for me?" Enkrid asked as he saw one of the swords they had just received with his name engraved on it!

It means that the people on the other side of the realm had read reports about him and rewarded him with his own sword!

As soon as he picked it up, he noticed that below his engraved name on the scabbard, he saw the craftsman who made it for him.

"Clovis Skye?"
