Arcane Academy: The Divine Extraction Legacy Chapter 1112: Rewarded
Veyrith’s words echoed through the Grand Hall. Vale was also aware of this promised land and nodded.
Seeing that Vale was smiling, he continued... "I have never seen the land yet, but I’m sure that Orden pointed out a good location for us."
Vale nodded, already aware of the agreement Ryzoir and Orden had made to recruit the dragons. The land in question was rich in energy and untouched by civilization. Orden had suggested a territory in the northern reaches since it was stable, quiet, and far from the central trade routes.
But Vale had a different idea.
"There are many options to be honest..." Vale said calmly. He didn’t want them to be stuck in one idea, so he decided to give them choices...
"I just believe you deserve more than a quiet corner."
He raised his hand, and a Magic Automaton projected a map of the continent with seven regions marked in crimson. These marked regions were those designated as a Forbidden Land by the Arcane Bureau.
The others may be familiar with it, but not with these dragons.
"These are the seven Forbidden Lands. Most are unstable, corrupted, or sealed by ancient laws. But one of them... might suit your kind."
He pointed to the Abyssal Rift of Zenthra.
"It’s dangerous for Arcanists. The energy there is unstable, and rifts appear from time to time. But after the Timeless King sealed the planet, its volatility has lessened. For dragons, it would be a natural fortress. No one would dare disturb you there. You might even obtain power in that place..."
The dragons exchanged glances. Veyrith stepped forward.
They started talking through telepathy, and Vale waited patiently.
"You would offer us this Forbidden Land?"
Vale nodded. "Yes... It might be difficult for mortals or arcanists to enter this area, but this should be nothing to Dragons... It’s a place where your kind can thrive without interference. The Abyssal Rift is yours... if you accept it."
Veyrith bowed slightly. "We accept."
"Great..."
Vale then gestured again, and eight pouches floated toward the dragons. Each one contained a hundred Mid-Grade Divine Crystals. They were enough to sustain their cultivation and anchor their presence in the realm.
Seeing the Divine Crystals, they immediately felt excited.
The dragons accepted the pouches without ceremony, but their gratitude was clear.
With that, the first round of recognition was complete.
Next, Vale called for Sreas and Haruo. The Asura and the Angel were both recruited from the Celestial Prison Realm’s Towers.
The two stood side by side... Sreas was in his human form, while Haruo had also hidden his wings.s
Sreas, the Asura, had already gained a reputation among the younger Arcanists. He had shared his own blood and flesh with more than twenty apprentices, strengthening their bodies and awakening dormant talents.
Those apprentices had become key defenders during the siege, blocking Chaos Beasts and stabilizing the city’s defenses.
Sreas himself had won a duel against a Chaos Immortal, sparing Capone City from further destruction.
Haruo, the Angel, had also done his part. He had blessed thirty young Arcanists with fragments of Holy Divinity. Normally, mortals couldn’t withstand such power, but with Haruo’s guidance and blessings, they had learned to wield it in small bursts. Those apprentices had fought valiantly, holding the line even when Haruo lost his duel.
Vale stepped forward.
"You both protected your cities. You trained the next generation. You gave more than just the strength to protect themselves and their loved ones... You also gave legacy."
He turned to the apprentices, who stood in formation behind their mentors.
"To each of you, I offer a Divine Seed. It will not grant you power instantly, but it will grow with you. It will become part of your foundation."
The apprentices bowed in unison, their eyes wide with awe. They weren’t sure about the Divine Seed,s but whatever it was, it would surely benefit them...
Then Vale turned to Sreas and Haruo.
"You’ve earned more than gratitude... Tell me what you want."
He wanted to give them Divine Crystals or even some Spell Models that were hard to obtain but they might have something in their minds, so he might as well ask the two.
Sreas seemed to have expected to be asked this question, so he didn’t hesitate.
"I want a divine forge... Or similar to Lady Denise’s Tower." he said. "A place where I can refine my blood and create weapons for the next war or for my disciples... Hehe... It’s not just for me... but for the ones who will be following me from now on. I’m planning to create a small force of my own to spread the bloodline of Asura."
’Spread the bloodline of Asura?’ Vale mused as he didn’t expect such a request. Still, it was quite understandable since he was the only Asura here.
Vale nodded. "You’ll have it. The Tower will be built in Capone City, I will be arranging people to help with the construction."
Then, he turned to Haruo...
Haruo took a moment before speaking. He actually didn’t expect that Sreas’s request would be granted. Because of that, he had to rethink his request...
’Alright... It should be just fine.’ Haruo thought...
"Ahem... I want a sanctuary." he said. "A place where my apprentices can train without fear. I want a temple not for worship, but for growth."
Vale smiled faintly. "Then you’ll have one. Euphemia City will host your sanctuary. The land is already being cleared."
He then gifted them a pouch of Divine Crystals as well. He knew that this realm didn’t have a lot of Divinity. This was the reason why he obtained as many Divine Crystals as he could within the Shadow Realm. This was also to help the Immortals within this realm.
The apprentices who also contributed received their rewards, and just like that, the second round of recognition was complete.
Vale returned to his seat as Magnus called more names to be recognized and rewarded...
After all, he was the one who had truly monitored their achievement...
The people who needed to be rewarded include Denise, the various Professors, the members of the Shadow Pillars, the Elementalists, the Vampires, and many others.
Still, after several people were rewarded, Vale didn’t forget to reward his two Dark Spirits... Lotus and Yvaine.
