Ethan lured the Pyrathi into attacking Goldcrest City, hoping to incite a conflict between them and the resident Nivari. The Nivari, specializing in ice abilities, were immediately hostile to the fire-wielding Pyrathi. Their initial clash quickly escalated into a full-scale battle, with the Nivari gaining the upper hand due to superior numbers and home-field advantage. Just as the Pyrathi were on the verge of annihilation, their Patriarch arrived with reinforcements, turning the tide and igniting an even larger war.

New Atlas, Council Chamber...

"Deputy Commander, another group of Void Realm creatures is heading our way," Trevor Sloan, director of the Satellite Operations Control Center, reported to Miles.

"This should be the third group, right? Handle them the same way as before. Convince them to turn back if you can. If they refuse, have the Fallen Star Guard take care of them." Miles waved a hand dismissively.

"That probably won’t work this time. They have Stage SSS fighters," Trevor said gravely.

"Oh?" Miles set down the document in his hand. "How many? Have you estimated their Tiers?"

"Five. We can’t determine their exact strength yet."

Miles nodded. "Put the feed on the main screen."

"Of course."

The display at the front of the Council Chamber soon lit up.

A large group was moving toward New Atlas. Judging by their route, they would reach the city in less than thirty minutes unless they changed direction.

Five figures flew above the rest—the Stage SSS fighters Trevor had mentioned.

Stage SSS fighters were usually easy to identify. If someone without wings could fly freely through the air, they were almost certainly Stage SSS.

Their exact Tiers, however, were impossible to determine from the footage alone.

Miles watched for a moment before turning to an assistant. "Notify Theron and Dahlia."

"Right away."

New Atlas had plenty of powerful fighters now, so a group of this size posed little threat.

Of the five Stage SSS fighters, they would be lucky to have even one Tier 47. With Theron Valaris at peak Tier 47, New Atlas was practically untouchable. Even if he couldn’t handle them, they still had the Beast Sovereign.

Unless one of the world’s dominant races showed up, New Atlas had little to worry about.

"By the way, Miles, where are the Commander and the others right now?" Maxwell asked curiously.

"I think they’re near Goldcrest City." Miles wasn’t entirely sure. "Switch the satellite feed over there."

"Yes, sir."

Trevor changed the feed, and an image of Goldcrest City appeared on the screen.

Everyone in the chamber stared.

A terrifying battle was raging over the city. Every combatant was Stage SSS, and there were nearly sixty of them.

This was clearly a war between two dominant races.

"Aren’t these two races based in opposite directions? One in the northwest and the other in the southwest?" General Cross frowned. "How did they end up fighting?"

They had gathered detailed intelligence on all the dominant races and knew where each one had settled.

"One moment. I’ll have my people look into it."

Trevor was equally confused. He immediately contacted the Satellite Operations Control Center.

He ended the call soon afterward, then gave everyone an odd look.

"Well... it seems the Commander may have caused this."

"What?"

Everyone looked even more baffled.

"How did the Commander manage that?"

"According to the Control Center, those red Void Realm creatures chased the Commander all the way to Goldcrest City. Then he disappeared, and the two sides started fighting."

"..."

Miles covered his face.

"Yeah, there’s no need to investigate any further. This is definitely the Captain’s handiwork."

He pulled stunts like this all the time.

"He really does cause chaos wherever he goes," someone said helplessly.

After the Aurelians and Azure Nereids arrived in New Atlas, the others had asked them what the Fallen Star Squad had done in Eldoria.

They learned that the squad had plunged the entire world into chaos almost as soon as they arrived. Within a single month, every top-tier race that had long dominated Eldoria was wiped out.

The story had left everyone stunned.

They had no idea how the Commander and his team had done it, but those achievements alone were the stuff of legend.

So when they saw the Commander provoke two unrelated dominant races into fighting the moment he left the city, it hardly surprised them anymore.

For anyone else, it would have been almost impossible.

For the Commander, it was probably just another day.

"So... should we do anything?" Charles asked.

"No. The Captain always has a plan. We shouldn’t interfere on our own. If he needs support, he’ll contact me," Miles said. "Our job is to protect New Atlas."

"Understood."

"Come on. Let’s head to the city gates and welcome our new visitors from the Void Realm."

"All right."

Goldcrest City...

The two races were still locked in a vicious battle.

Inside the Deadlock Dimension, Ethan finished counting his crystal cores for what had to be the hundredth time and put them back into his spatial storage ring.

"Why hasn’t Abyron signaled me yet?"

It didn’t make sense.

"Even if the two races really started fighting, there were only a dozen or so Pyrathi. How could they possibly last this long against the race occupying Goldcrest City?"

Miles had told him that more than thirty Stage SSS fighters lived in the city. With that kind of strength, they should have wiped out the small Pyrathi group long ago.

"Did more Stage SSS Pyrathi show up?"

Ethan frowned.

"That could be a problem. If the two sides are evenly matched, how long are they going to keep fighting?"

He couldn’t waste time waiting for them to finish. He still needed to collect more crystal cores.

"But I’m marked. If I go outside, the Pyrathi will immediately sense me."

Then a thought occurred to him.

"Wait. They should be fighting for their lives right now. Why would they have time to worry about me? I can just get out and run. What am I afraid of?"

With that settled, Ethan saw no reason to wait any longer. He dismissed the Deadlock Dimension.

The moment he reappeared, he glanced at the battlefield.

Sure enough, the fighting was still intense.

Unfortunately, his appearance immediately drew the attention of several Pyrathi fighters.

Ethan didn’t hesitate. He teleported away at once.

The High Elder spotted him and tried to give chase, but his opponent instantly blocked his path as boundless frost surged toward him.

"You think you can run because you’re losing? Not a chance!"

"You..."

The High Elder’s face flushed with fury, but there was nothing he could do.

His opponent was no weaker than he was and specialized in ice-type abilities. There was no way to break free.

the High Elder transmitted desperately, placing his last hope on the Patriarch.

The Pyrathi Patriarch shot him a furious look.

The Nivari Patriarch was just as strong as he was, and ice-type abilities excelled at slowing and restraining enemies. There was no way for him to shake off his opponent and pursue Ethan.

the Pyrathi Patriarch snapped.

After being reprimanded by the Patriarch, the High Elder didn’t dare say another word.

Still, his gaze remained fixed in the direction Ethan had fled. He clearly wasn’t willing to give up.

It was a spatial-type ability.

No race could resist something like that.
