Apocalypse: King of Zombies Chapter 1625: This Got Out of Hand

Ethan activated True Sight and scanned the city ahead. Sure enough, he spotted quite a few Void Realm creatures inside.
According to Miles, an extremely powerful race had settled in Goldcrest City.
Based on the satellite intelligence they had gathered, this race specialized in ice-type abilities.
Ice and fire. Ethan wondered what would happen when the two races collided.
He silently calculated how long it would take to travel here from Northforge City.
"If they really followed us, they should be here soon. They’re Stage SSS, after all. Six hundred miles won’t take them long."
He turned to Abyron. "Go hide. I already removed the mark on you, so they don’t know where you are. Make sure they don’t spot you."
"What about you?"
"Once I’ve provoked them into fighting, I’ll find somewhere to enter the Deadlock Dimension."
"I can’t see what’s happening outside while I’m in there, so I’ll leave that to you. Find out how many strong fighters the Pyrathi brought, then see whether the two sides actually fight."
"When it’s safe, lightly strike the spatial node three times. That’ll be my signal to come out. Got it?"
"Got it. You’re setting them against each other." Abyron nodded, then asked, "Are you sure the race living here can handle the Pyrathi?"
"They should be evenly matched."
"They’re almost here. Hurry up and hide."
"All right."
Abyron took a step and vanished.
Ethan pushed True Sight to its limit and looked toward Northforge City.
Before long, a group of red figures appeared in the distance, flying straight toward him.
Ethan teleported to the entrance of Goldcrest City and shouted into the city, "Listen up, you worthless insects! This territory belongs to the Pyrathi now! Pack your things and get out before we have to do it for you!"
The moment he finished, Ethan teleported twice in quick succession, slipped into a dark corner, and entered the Deadlock Dimension.
A cold voice soon rang out from within the city.
"Who dares cause trouble in Nivari territory?"
A group of figures with snow-white hair and matching white cloaks soon appeared at the city gates.
They frowned when they found no one outside. Just as they were about to search the area, a group of red figures came flying in.
The Nivari fighters’ faces immediately darkened. The presence radiating from these newcomers made them deeply uncomfortable.
"You’re the Pyrathi?"
"Oh? You’ve heard of us?" The High Elder looked surprised, but his expression quickly turned arrogant. "That makes this easier. Since you know who we are, hand them over!"
"Hand over your ass!"
The Nivari fighters erupted in fury.
"Frozen Dominion!"
Endless frost surged toward the Pyrathi, threatening to freeze them all solid.
The High Elder’s face darkened.
"You’re courting death!"
Flames burst from the Pyrathi fighters, turning each of them into a blazing figure.
An ocean of fire swept toward the Nivari.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Ice and fire collided in the sky, unleashing terrifying waves of energy.
The two races seemed almost born to oppose each other. The mere sight of the other side was enough to make their tempers flare, and they had gone straight for the kill after only a few words.
Watching from his hiding place in the distance, Abyron stared in disbelief.
"They’re already fighting?"
This was more than a fight. They were trying to wipe each other out.
Unfortunately for the Pyrathi, Goldcrest City was the Nivari stronghold.
More Nivari fighters streamed out of the city. Before long, over thirty Stage SSS fighters had appeared, including two at peak Tier 47.
The Pyrathi High Elder’s expression grew increasingly grim.
"Just you wait!"
After throwing out the threat, he tried to lead his people away.
The man at the head of the Nivari sneered.
"You think you can leave?"
The Nivari fighters moved at once, cutting off their escape.
"Since you’re already here, none of you are leaving!"
"Do you truly intend to fight the Pyrathi to the death?" the High Elder asked darkly.
"The Pyrathi are nothing! You dared come into Nivari territory and threaten us. You brought this on yourselves!"
"Kill them!"
At the Nivari Patriarch’s command, the surrounding Nivari launched another ferocious assault.
"High Elder, what do we do?" The Pyrathi fighters were beginning to panic.
There were only a little over a dozen of them. They were badly outnumbered and outmatched. If this continued, none of them would survive.
"Hold on a little longer. I’ve already notified the Patriarch. He and the others are on their way," the High Elder said quietly.
"Understood."
The Pyrathi fighters gritted their teeth and struggled to hold their ground.
But the gap in strength was too great. It wasn’t long before they began taking casualties.
Several Nivari surrounded one Stage SSS Pyrathi fighter and froze his entire body. When they shattered the ice, his body broke apart with it.
Once the first fell, the second and third soon followed.
One low-Tier Stage SSS Pyrathi after another died.
The High Elder’s eyes went bloodshot at the sight.
"You dare kill Pyrathi fighters? You’re finished! Every last one of you!"
"Then show me how you intend to finish us," the Nivari Patriarch replied coldly.
"Pick up the pace!"
"Understood."
The Nivari’s other peak Tier 47 fighter nodded. Together, the two of them launched an even more relentless assault on the High Elder.
Under the Nivari’s furious attacks, more than half of the Pyrathi group was dead within thirty minutes. Only five Tier 47 fighters and the High Elder remained, barely holding on.
Just as the Nivari were preparing to finish them off in one final push, a furious shout thundered from the distance.
"Impudent! Who dares attack the Pyrathi?"
A large group of figures flew into the battlefield.
"Patriarch!"
The surviving Pyrathi were so overwhelmed with relief that they nearly burst into tears.
"Patriarch, you’re finally here! If you’d arrived any later, we would’ve been wiped out!"
The Pyrathi Patriarch surveyed the battlefield, his face turning livid.
"You... will die for this!"
"You think we’re afraid of you?" The Nivari Patriarch showed no fear as he stepped forward to confront him. "You came into Nivari territory looking for trouble. You chose the wrong place!"
"Good. Very good!"
The Pyrathi Patriarch could no longer contain his rage.
"Kill them!"
He charged straight at the Nivari Patriarch.
The other fighters immediately threw themselves into battle as well.
The clash escalated once more, the fighting shaking the entire region.
Overall, the Pyrathi seemed slightly stronger than the Nivari.
Unfortunately for them, they had already lost eight Stage SSS fighters. With those casualties, the difference between the two sides had become negligible.
Watching from the shadows, Abyron’s heart pounded.
"Boss, I think you may have taken this a little too far. This is getting out of control."
