After a brutal battle, Ethan's forces were confronted by a massive swarm of Void Realm creatures, including powerful Stage SSS fighters. Despite his allies' concerns about the overwhelming numbers, Ethan remained confident. The newcomers, particularly a teal-haired man from the Verdant race, were enraged when Ethan presented them with Verdant soulless thralls, mistaking them for their lost kin. This confrontation escalated, with the teal-haired man unleashing his power, only to be met by Abyron's.

The other two Tier 47 fighters stepped forward to flank the teal-haired man as soon as Abyron showed himself.

"I noticed you a while ago, kid." The short man sneered. "You really think you can hold off all three of us by yourself?"

"You’re quite handsome, and strong too." The marked woman giggled. "I almost can’t bear to hurt you. Why don’t you come home with me instead? I’ll take very good care of you."

"Enough with the flirting, you shameless woman. He’s human," the short man said irritably.

"I know. It was only a joke. Do you have to be so serious?"

"..."

Ethan looked at Abyron in resignation. The guy really was too handsome for his own good. Maybe Ethan shouldn’t let him wander around outside anymore. It was too dangerous.

Abyron had no room to think about any of that. His expression was grim as he faced the three Tier 47 fighters.

He could handle one without a problem. Against two, he could at least hold his ground for a while. But three...

Honestly, he wanted to run.

But tens of millions of humans stood behind him. So did that guy.

Abyron couldn’t bring himself to abandon them.

The teal-haired man stared coldly at him. "Tier 47. Is this what gave you the courage to turn Verdant warriors into soulless thralls?"

"You dared lay a hand on the Verdants. Everyone in this city will die today!"

He was about to attack when Ethan spoke again.

"Wow, you’re really full of yourself. Planning to gang up on us? Fine. I can play that game too."

Ethan turned and shouted toward the city.

"Beast Sovereign! Someone’s bullying me!"

Boom!

A lake behind New Atlas erupted, sending water high into the air as a colossal figure burst from its depths.

"Who has the nerve to bully Ethan?"

The deep voice rolled over the battlefield. In the next instant, the enormous beast appeared before them, its terrifying pressure making it hard for anyone to breathe.

Every Void Realm creature stared in horror.

"A Stage SSS Outland Beast at the peak of Tier 47!"

The three Tier 47 fighters instantly retreated more than a hundred feet, watching the Beast Sovereign warily.

Abyron was just as stunned.

Abyron didn’t share Theron’s prejudice against Outland Beasts. He had been close friends with the Dread-Eyed Lion and knew that Outland Beasts could sometimes be more loyal than humans.

But he had never imagined that Ethan’s trump card would be an Outland Beast at the peak of Tier 47.

Why would a creature that powerful listen to him?

As soon as the Beast Sovereign arrived, Ethan put on an aggrieved expression and pointed at the three Tier 47 fighters.

"Beast Sovereign, these people are trying to kill me."

The Beast Sovereign rolled its eyes. It had known Ethan long enough to recognize the act.

Still, it had promised to help protect New Atlas, and it wasn’t about to break its word. Besides, Ethan had done it a great favor.

Since arriving, the people here had treated it to the best food and drink every day. More importantly, the dense mysterious energy in this world had given it hope of breaking through after being stuck at the same Stage for over ten thousand years.

In only a few days, the Beast Sovereign had already developed a powerful sense of belonging. It practically considered New Atlas its home.

And these people dared attack its home?

They were asking to die.

Its gaze swept across the Stage SSS fighters.

"Were you the ones trying to kill Ethan?"

"Well... this is all a misunderstanding." The short man forced a placating smile.

"That’s right. Just a misunderstanding," the marked woman said, struggling to look friendly. "We were only joking with the young man."

The teal-haired man’s face was livid, but he no longer dared speak.

"Hmph. You brought an army to our doorstep, and now you call it a misunderstanding?" the Beast Sovereign demanded. "Do you think I’m stupid?"

"Don’t worry about sparing them on my account, Beast Sovereign," Ethan said from the side. "Kill them all. Golden Eagle and the others can have a feast tonight."

The Stage SSS fighters glared at him, the warning in their eyes unmistakable.

"Beast Sovereign, look! They’re glaring at me now!"

"..."

Everyone stared at Ethan in speechless disbelief.

"Boss really has no shame sometimes," Big Mike muttered.

"Yeah."

The others all nodded.

"Attack! The three of us will hold off the Outland Beast. You Tier 44 and Tier 45 fighters deal with that Tier 47 human. Everyone else, kill that bastard!"

While everyone was still reeling from Ethan’s shamelessness, the Void Realm creatures struck first.

The three Tier 47 fighters charged at the Beast Sovereign. Six fighters between Tier 44 and Tier 46 rushed Abyron, while the remaining lower-Tier Stage SSS fighters attacked Ethan.

The Void Realm creatures clearly knew what they were doing. Despite their fear of the Beast Sovereign, they didn’t wait helplessly for death. They seized the initiative and attacked.

The Beast Sovereign snorted and swept its colossal tail at the three Tier 47 fighters.

Boom!

The three joined forces and blocked the strike, but the impact still sent them flying hundreds of feet.

The Beast Sovereign caught up to them in an instant, unleashing a vast cloud of poison that engulfed all three.

Abyron was quickly surrounded as well. The six Tier 44 to Tier 46 fighters launched a relentless assault.

He was stronger than any of them individually, but against all six at once, he couldn’t defeat them quickly.

The remaining seven Stage SSS fighters rushed Ethan.

"You’ve been acting pretty damn smug, kid. Now there’s no one left to protect you. Let’s see how smug you are after I cripple you!"

Clearly, the Stage SSS fighters had had enough of him.

"Who said there’s no one left to protect me?" Ethan asked with a smile.

"Golden Eagle! Giant Bear! Frostfox!"

As soon as he called their names, three figures flew to his side.

"Son of a bitch!"

The Stage SSS fighters’ expressions changed dramatically. They stopped in their tracks and shot backward.

"There are more of them?!"

"Have you no shame?!"

Ethan couldn’t have cared less. He pointed at the Stage SSS fighters.

"Help yourselves. Eat as many as you want."

"You got it!"

The three Outland Beasts answered excitedly, then pounced on the Stage SSS fighters.

The Dread-Eyed Lion flew over to Ethan as well and asked with uncharacteristic politeness, "Uh, Ethan... is there anything I can do?"

Ethan looked it over with poorly concealed disdain.

"You’re too weak. Stay off to the side for now."

"Okay."

The Dread-Eyed Lion obediently stood aside.

Before this, it would have argued if Ethan dared call it weak.

But after witnessing the Beast Sovereign and the others in action, it had completely lost that attitude.

Ethan was right.

It really was too weak.
