Apocalypse: I Build A Doomsday Train Chapter 1259 - 485: Parting the Sea! (2)

"Yes, that’s more than enough!"
"Be cautious, extremely cautious!"
Beside Ning Jing, Lv Chang and Miao Lu were barely holding on against the automated firepower protecting the train, overwhelmed by the relentless assault. They hadn't undergone Crystal Grid Evolution yet, their combat power barely exceeding four thousand, and this was without even more High Level Abnormal Bodies appearing. If A-level and Special Level creatures exploded in the air, their only option would be to retreat into the train and fight back with conventional weapons.
"I understand."
From the main bridge, Lin Xian was acutely aware of their precarious situation. The Sky Dome Train possessed formidable firepower, and the monsters emerging from the scarlet tide were generally manageable for those who had evolved through the Crystal Grid. However, with the Star Abyss's widespread influence, it was inadvisable to overly increase the concentration of Dark Marks, lest the situation spiral out of control. Their current objective was evasion; a large-scale engagement was entirely unnecessary.
"Prepare for takeoff, everyone be alert. I will manage the altitude; there might be other dangers lurking beneath the wave crests. Monica and Qian Deli, monitor the waters below; Ryuji and Lu Xingchen, keep watch on the skies!"
Just as Lin Xian concluded his instructions, Lu Xingchen's voice cut through the comms channel. "Lin Xian, just a moment!"
On the front platform extending from the Sky Bridge high above, a lone figure stood bathed in the eerie red glow of the Star Abyss storm, a striking silhouette. Lu Xingchen had somehow removed his Power Armor helmet, allowing the fierce wind to whip through his slightly dishevelled black hair. He hovered several meters above the train, facing the colossal, world-ending wall of the tsunami. With his hands clasped behind his back, his robe billowed and snapped in the gale.
"Such a wave obstructing our path is but a mere stream, why should the Sky Dome trouble itself to soar, only to attract unwanted attention?" His voice, clear and resonant, pierced through the wind and thunder, imbued with a deliberate theatrical flair, as if reciting lines on a grand stage. He slowly raised his right arm, extending a single finger, fearlessly pointing at the approaching colossal black wall that could sweep away mountains.
"I stand here; a single sword is all that is needed! For the Sky Dome, I shall carve open this path!"
"Whoa!" Da Lou, wielding his sword at the forefront of the Sky Bridge battle, swiftly dispatched a swooping Alien Demon and turned, shouting in a deep voice, "At this critical juncture, do not act rashly."
The metallic visages of several Metal Magic Puppets, controlled by Ryuji, ceased their obstacle clearing, their heads tilting towards Lu Xingchen’s position as if in silent question.
On the forward command tower, Qian Deli’s lips twitched. He instinctively covered the Power Armor Mask port on his forehead, wearing an expression that clearly conveyed, "Here we go again," and averted his gaze.
"Rest assured, Brother Lou. I would never gamble with the safety of everyone aboard for the sake of a foolish display."
Lu Xingchen offered a faint smile, no longer addressing Da Lou, but awaiting Lin Xian's response.
"Understood."
Lin Xian's voice came directly through the communication channel. While Lin Xian had alternative plans, he was also curious to witness the combat power of Brother Huo, whose Spirit Vibration Value now neared thirty thousand.
RUMBLE!
The tsunami, hundreds of meters high, surged like towering mountains from the vast ocean, emitting an earth-shattering roar as it advanced along the ocean's track. The leading edge of the track was already submerged in the inky black seawater, beneath which the entire ocean surface was being propelled upwards. Waves began to crash onto the track.
Lin Xian synchronized with Viola, initiating the ignition of the Sky Dome Train's starlight propellers. Simultaneously, the intercontinental train at the rear detached from the track, lifted by small auxiliary propellers as the magnetic levitation system was no longer viable. The entire colossal train now skimmed just above the churning ocean waves.
Lu Xingchen hovered above the Sky Bridge, his eyes blazing with white flames, reflecting the approaching, abyss-like maw of the black giant wall. Far from showing any fear, his expression radiated an almost ecstatic fervor.
"Of the myriad paths, mine is the path of burning!"
Lu Xingchen murmured to himself, his words carrying a cinematic resonance, akin to an ancient incantation drawing upon the world’s power, filled with potent energy.
His eyes suddenly flared with an intense orange-red flame.
BOOM!
It was as if a human-shaped sun ignited within him. Scarlet and gold flames erupted outwards without warning, engulfing him in a colossal fireball exceeding ten meters in diameter. The very air warped and tore under the intense heat, emitting sharp, crackling explosions. The boiling seawater below was instantly vaporized into a vast cloud of white mist by the sheer heatwave, as if creating a misty pathway just for him.
A colossal surge of Dark Energy erupted outwards, originating from Lu Xingchen like a palpable tidal wave. This massive energy pulse momentarily dwarfed the power of the Star Abyss storm behind and the incoming tsunami ahead. His Spirit Vibration Value reached a staggering peak of 26,500, fully unleashed at this instant! All the spirit vibration detectors on the bridge shattered, their shrill alarms blaring. Subsequently, Lu Xingchen formed a sword seal with one hand, compressing the fireball above him into a sword-like shape. However, it resembled a colossal blade made of intensely compressed, fiery energy more than a traditional sword. It radiated light a thousand times brighter than the midday sun, momentarily engulfing the Sky Dome Train. The space around this blade continuously warped and buckled under the extreme heat, creating visible distortions. As the blade’s tip pointed forward, the air spontaneously parted, forming a void path, and a sharp shriek pierced the air, as if space itself were crying out!
