A dangerous crimson mist is eroding reality, spawning monstrous sea creatures and corrupted limbs. Lin Xian and Ryuji work to fend off these threats, with Ryuji using his metal puppets to devastating effect. Da Lou and Shu Qin join the fray, with Shu Qin demonstrating surprising power against a giant monster arm. Da Lou unleashes a massive energy slash, clearing a wide area. As a colossal tsunami approaches, Lu Xingchen declares it his true opponent.

Oahu Island, Honolulu City Center

A putrid hand slammed onto the colossal neon advertisement of "Sunshine Hawaii," leaving behind a viscous smear. Below the sign, a female Zombie, clad in a tattered bikini and missing half her ribcage, blankly swiveled her dull, grayish-white eyeballs. Her vacant stare drifted across the eerily silent street, lingering on the heap of her kind crammed within a toppled tour bus. Underneath the strikingly bright, sunny sky, everything was abruptly plunged into utter darkness.

The howling winds intensified, growing even more ferocious. The female Zombie and the other shambling figures on the street turned their heads in unison towards the Honolulu Mountain Range. There, the sky had been obliterated by a colossal "wall," a structure connecting sea and sky that consumed all light. It wasn't merely darkness; the blackness churned like innumerable sticky pools of crude oil, within which a sickly crimson radiance swirled and seeped, slowly suffocating the mountains.

This expanse of darkness swallowed the Diamond Head Lighthouse whole, then the Hollywood Sign, once a symbol for countless tourists. Next, it engulfed the tunnel carved through the mountain. The tide, interwoven with black and red, surged into the tunnel's mouth like a tangible flood. Abandoned vehicles, bones, billboards, and several staggering Zombies attempting to escape were instantly submerged.

The crimson flood cascaded past the pristine sands of Waikiki Beach, where numb Zombies were Devoured in droves. Yet, upon being enveloped by that crimson hue, the silhouettes of the Zombies inexplicably began to undergo grotesque transformations. Their bodies suddenly contorted, emitting inhuman, bone-snapping "crack-clack" sounds. Their eyeballs swelled at an alarming rate; initially gray-white, they then burst, dissolving into paste-like masses. These shadows Devoured and merged with each other, mutating into indescribable Abnormal Bodies.

Ugh—ah!!

Eerie screams echoed, overlapping and fading, accompanied by frenzied, demon-like black silhouettes twisting and mutating within the crimson tide. In what felt like mere moments, the city transformed into a terrifying, inhuman Hellscape.

These crimson forms writhed and deformed, defying any coherent description. The very instant the monitors Lin Xian had deployed were consumed by the crimson, they lost their signals. However, through the fragmented footage that remained, he still grasped a sense of abnormality far exceeding his initial expectations.

Aboard the Sky Dome Train, visualizing the unfolding anomalies across the island, Lin Xian's expression grew considerably grave. Experiencing this Crimson Advent firsthand felt significantly more terrifying than when he had perceived it through the consciousness link. From the scant, scattered images, Lin Xian already understood the sheer power of the crimson. Without the protection of a vehicle or Full Coverage Power Armor, no Superpower User could realistically hope to survive within its clutches.

Although every individual aboard the Infinity was now equipped with interstellar-grade power armor engineered by Lin Xian himself, they remained exceedingly rare compared to all other survivor groups. Even within the interstellar military, only elite units were typically outfitted with Power Armor of Ghost Wolf Level or higher. The majority of regular soldiers were equipped with either half-coverage or auxiliary Armor; this applied to both the Phoenix Society and the military, let alone the countless ordinary survivors.

Vwoom!

A piercing Sound Roar swept across the main bridge from overhead, like an invisible wave of air pressure, instantly reducing the swarm of strange airborne fish to a continuous mist of crimson blood. Its power was equivalent to ten 1130 systems firing simultaneously. Lin Xian glanced towards the ship's tower—Monica stood there, one hand on her hip, radiating calm composure. The Sound Roar Sword at her lips bypassed the bulletproof porthole and the Static Electric Field to be unleashed, eliminating the need for her to be positioned outside. On the other side, Qian Deli's Divine Speed kicking technique, which originally fell under the classification of Body Technique, now emitted high-energy golden beams. It was evident that the Superpowers of both individuals had undergone a qualitative evolution after activating the Crystal Grid!

Lin Xian observed the faintly discernible flow of Dark Energy within the frigid atmosphere. This mysterious power possessed the capability to grant a single handgun in Shu Qin's grasp artillery-level firepower—a truly heaven-defying feat.

"All our Dark Marks are illuminated. Every Monster within a minimum five-kilometer radius of the sea surrounding us is converging on our location!"

Sha Sha, seated at the information officer's console, reported while observing the radar panel, "There are some in the sky as well."

At this precise moment, across the turbulent expanse of the Pacific Ocean, a distinct line of sea, frothy with white bubbles, stretched out, as if drawn along the north-south horizon. It resembled a Shock Wave emanating from the Star Abyss Center, racing outwards into the ocean with unrestrained ferocity.

The Sky Dome Train now hurtled along its course, its speed matching the churning white expanse below. From a distance, the ocean appeared like a cauldron of boiling white froth. Innumerable Abnormal Bodies surged from the ocean's depths, a dark tide assaulting the train.

Lin Xian tilted his gaze upward. With the Crystal Grid of all passengers unleashed and every Dark Mark illuminated, ominous black clouds descended, pouring forth a constant stream of Flying Monsters. A single look was enough for him to surmise that terrifying atmospheric lifeforms lurked within that dense cloud bank.

"At this velocity, we're going to collide with the tsunami in thirty seconds!"

Sha Sha turned to face Lin Xian, her young face etched with worry. "Brother Lin, should we prepare to evacuate?" she inquired.

Lin Xian was just about to reply when Ning Jing's voice suddenly crackled through his earpiece.

"Captain Lin."

Boom!

On the roof of the intercontinental train, a Shock Wave erupted, obliterating hundreds of meters of air and carving a vacuum cavity seven to eight meters wide through the mass of strange fish. Splatters of blood mist rained down. At the epicenter of the Shock Wave, Ning Jing, now resembling a miniature colossus, stood firm, her Crystal Grid Power surging. Her fierce punching posture remained frozen, though her brows furrowed slightly. After channeling her Crystal Grid Power, she abruptly detected something amiss. Dark Energy Fluctuations swirled around her, and her own physical form was visibly diminishing at an alarming rate.

Perceiving this, Ning Jing felt a faint sense of relief, but she didn't linger on it. Instead, she directed her attention to the heavens, continuing over the comms, "We cannot ascend too high. If we acquire a Level 4 mark from a Special Level entity, considering the current density of Abnormal Bodies in this spread zone, we'll be in dire straits for certain!"
