Lin Xian and his crew prepared to depart. The train's systems were almost ready, but a massive, dark crimson tide appeared on the horizon, signaling the 'scarlet arrival' sooner than expected. Lin Xian decided they must leave immediately.

Clang, clang, clang!

The Sky Dome Train, utilizing magnetic levitation along its designated path, proceeded without any hesitation. Its considerable power directly propelled the intercontinental train positioned on the tracks, while the connections between carriages emitted a series of harmoniously stable hums. Then, sparks flew vibrantly from the iron wheels against the worn track as the colossal train finally departed from the orbit station situated on Hawaii's Waahu Island!

"This experience is truly captivating. Traveling on the track actually provides a more secure sensation than soaring through the air," Qian Deli remarked with a touch of longing, observing the straight, extended track before them.

Smoke and debris billowed up from the tracks. Various immobilized vehicles and obstacles obstructing the path were unceremoniously swept aside by the cutting beams and high-pressure water jets emanating from the train’s forward clearing apparatus. The intelligent systems integrated into the Sky Dome Train were adept at efficiently assessing the track conditions ahead. With the support of Lin Xian’s extensive drone fleet, even encountering collapsed bridges or barricades posed no impediment to the train’s relentless progress.

"We needn't concern ourselves with track integrity. Our apprehension should be directed towards that,"

Lin Xian stated, positioned at the very front of the main bridge, his gaze fixed on the rapidly receding ocean waters along the coastline. This revealed extensive expanses of saturated sand and exposed reef formations. Simultaneously, the ominous, dark sky in the distance appeared to be converging upon the island, reminiscent of the encounter with the Devour from Star Abyss No.5. In mere moments, a significant portion of the sea was engulfed in an encroaching darkness.

"What is this..." Sha Sha inquired with a furrowed brow and a tone of nervousness, observing the unfolding spectacle. "The ocean is drawing back?"

"It’s a tsunami,"

Shu Qin declared, his expression grim. "Despite it being broad daylight, why is Star Abyss commencing its expansion once more?"

"Who can fathom it!"

Qian Deli replied, shaking his head. "Regardless, it portends no good. Let’s hope it doesn’t sweep us away to some peculiar location again; navigating the vast ocean after such an event would be exceedingly difficult."

"It doesn’t appear to be Star Abyss expanding…" Lin Xian, at this juncture, directed his attention towards the train’s northern sector. There, a similarly somber, black expanse was also unfurling: "It seems something within Star Abyss is initiating a release…"

"Da Lou, Shu Qin, Qian Deli, Monica—maintain vigilance at the main tower. Miao Lu, Lv Chang—proceed to arm the train and provide support to Ning Jing. Brother Huo and Ryuji—your roles require no further elaboration."

"Understood."

"Brother Lin can set his mind at ease!"

"Shi Zhi." Lin Xian concluded, turning his attention to Shi Zhi. "You are to proceed to the Hibernation Pod. There's a significant surge of dark energy detected beneath the sea, and I am concerned that the Dark Energy Synchronization Device and the Heterogeneous Rubik’s Cube may not withstand it."

Within the Hibernation Pod, KIKI, Teacher Chen, Little Qing A Bai, and Luo Yang were anticipated to require an additional one to two hours to complete their ongoing evolutions. Given this crucial phase, Lin Xian expressed concern that the emergent situation might adversely impact them, thus arranging for Shi Zhi’s presence as a precautionary measure.

Shi Zhi immediately grasped the implication of Lin Xian’s directive and readily affirmed: "Very well, I shall depart at once!"

On the Sky Bridge, Ryuji and Lu Xingchen hovered suspended in mid-air, their gazes keenly fixed upon the northern and southern horizons, respectively. As the ominous black curtain continued its relentless spread, the once-clear heavens were swiftly obscured by deepening clouds.

Ryuji’s eyes flashed with faint blue electrical currents as he stated calmly, "Something is approaching our position."

"The heavens and the earth have undergone a transformation, marked by a crimson anomaly," Lu Xingchen declared, crossing his arms as a powerful surge of energy coursed through his being. "It appears our homeward voyage is fated to be anything but peaceful, which is perfectly acceptable. It presents an ideal opportunity to gauge the efficacy of our recent evolutions."

Whoosh!

In a remarkably short period, the Sky Dome Train had escalated its velocity to exceed one hundred miles per hour. It hurtled through a section of residential development and a cargo port area, rapidly advancing towards the turbulent expanse of the Pacific Ocean.

The wind howled fiercely, the sea’s color deepened to an alarming degree, and waves rolled in relentlessly, one after another. The seawater at the shoreline had retreated by scores of meters, exposing a sodden seabed littered with the remains of bones and refuse. Concurrently, vast patches of white foam appeared across the ocean’s surface, resembling the onset of a colossal tide.

Lin Xian’s brow furrowed deeply. He observed that these colossal waves did not seem to be directed towards the train, but were instead expanding outwards in a widespread, indiscriminate fashion!

Detecting the anomaly, the dim yellow luminescence within Lin Xian’s eyes intensified dramatically, urging the Sky Dome Train to achieve even greater acceleration.

A massive blockage of immobile train carriages and assorted vehicles, stretching over two kilometers, gridlocked the tracks ahead. Adjacent to the train lay the remnants of a military defense line, its barricades and barbed wire now just a grim tableau of fallen soldiers and shambling zombies. The resplendent bow lights of the Sky Dome Train, burning as brightly as the midday sun, drew the attention of the undead, their gazes shifting towards the colossal, approaching train.

"Ryuji, clear the path!"

"Understood."

Lin Xian's command resonated with Ryuji, who, clad in his black power armor, promptly opened the Sky Bridge's transparent viewport. A palpable force emanated from him, causing the very air to shimmer and distort. He then propelled himself forward with incredible speed, raising a sword finger towards the heavens.

CRASH!

Just as the Sky Dome Train was on a collision course with the accumulated wreckage, a high-frequency roar, like a sonic boom, shattered the air. An unseen force obliterated all the trains, cars, barricades, and barbed wire obstructing the path. This was followed by a swift, almost ethereal slash from Ryuji's sword finger, and the invisible air current silently bisected the steel trains and other blockades precisely in their centers.

The description of slicing felt inadequate; there was no grating sound of metal tearing, only a silent disintegration, as if the objects were turning to dust. The imposing wall of death that had sealed off the escape route for Waahu Island's residents was now shattered. Most astonishingly, the flying vehicle wreckage and debris, instead of plunging into the sea, were held aloft by Ryuji's immense superpower. They swirled in the air, their primary metal frameworks disintegrating, reforming, and coalescing into temporary humanoid constructs, roughly five to six meters tall. Meanwhile, the remaining detritus cascaded into the ocean with a resounding splash.
