The train and a nuclear submarine traveled at high speed through a deep-sea current. Both vessels suffered significant damage and casualties from the extreme conditions. While many survivors reel from injuries and shock, the train's starship-level materials and repairs by Lin Xian and KIKI prevented it from being torn apart. The group begins to assess their condition as the once bright current begins to dim.

Monica's gaze shifted as she gradually uttered, "The geothermal microorganisms have diminished, signaling our departure from the underwater volcanic cluster."

Several compartments within the Infinity have succumbed to visible distortion, twisting like a pretzel from the interior perspective, yet the external pressure hull remains intact without tearing. This structural compromise is a direct consequence of Lin Xian's persistent, albeit reactive, repairs, which led to the vehicle body's warping.

Nevertheless, such issues are of little concern to Lin Xian; as long as the compartments do not rupture, they can be attended to at a later juncture.

Within the compartments, numerous pipelines have ruptured, leaving the scientific research cabins in compartments 4 and 3 in utter disarray and severely compromised, with a multitude of scientific instruments and laboratory benches rendered unusable.

Here in the medical bay, Chen Sixuan, Ding Junyi, Xiao Yuan, and Miao Lu are convened. KIKI is currently situated within, undergoing a full-effect medical scan.

"Similar to Ryuji, there are no significant critical injuries; it's all attributed to psychic overload, though some physical repercussions are present."

Ding Junyi then retrieved two vials of a cold, dark reagent from a container and presented them to Xiao Yuan: "Administer one to Ryuji and inject the other into KIKI; it will substantially alleviate her condition."

"Furthermore," she directed Miao Lu, "convey the Hell Black Chrysanthemum to compartment 6. The energy emanating from the Black Chrysanthemum is considerable now, likely a result of absorption and transformation from the explosion on the Island and the manifestation of the Giant Ocean God. Its placement there will facilitate a more rapid recovery for everyone."

"Understood," both Xiao Yuan and Miao Lu affirmed.

Chen Sixuan, observing KIKI's stabilizing condition, promptly turned towards the cockpit. Lin Xian occupied the driver's seat, sipping water, his gaze fixed on the dark ocean currents ahead, the spotlight a solitary blade piercing the abyss, revealing only an unending expanse of seawater.

Shi Zhi sat in an adjacent seat, her hand raised, diligently channeling her spirit purification superpower towards Lin Xian, an eerie green luminescence flickering incessantly within the confined space.

"We have successfully navigated away from that marine area, at least a hundred nautical miles distant."

Upon noticing Chen Sixuan's arrival, Lin Xian spoke without shifting his head.

Chen Sixuan approached Lin Xian's side, cast a glance at Shi Zhi, and then peered ahead with a complex expression: "Where is this ocean current directing us? It is nightfall now, and encountering other monstrosities would prove highly problematic."

"Not at present," Lin Xian replied, his eyes closing slightly, his expression easing. "So many colossal entities congregated at Sea Rock Island, a greater throng than even in Dawn City. I suspect that creatures within hundreds of nautical miles were drawn there; those remaining are either Lesser Kalami or S-Class entities. We've already endured sufficient misfortune; we shouldn't encounter them."

Chen Sixuan couldn't suppress a faint smile, addressing Lin Xian with an undercurrent of inexplicable emotion: "It's the first time I've seen you so optimistic."

Lin Xian let out a sigh, a look of resignation gracing his features.

"It's inconsequential now; I truly have very little energy remaining. This oceanic current flows somewhat east-west. While it deviates from the established maritime routes, it likely won't lead us into direct confrontation with any monsters. Where it leads, we go, correct?" He directed his gaze towards Viola.

Viola, hands clasped behind her back, functioned as the strategic core and navigator of the Infinity, with all internal systems and sensor data processed under her calculations.

"According to the data, this Jingyuan Vortex Channel predominantly follows the East Sea Shelf towards the northeast. Post-passage of the southern sea region of Queensland Island, it expands eastward. This implies that by adhering to this stable current, we could reach the Queensland Island sea area in approximately 3 hours, which is a straight-line distance of 1100 nautical miles from the Republican Islands."

"Furthermore, my analysis indicates that, unlike conventional ocean or warm currents, due to its unique formation, this vortex channel exhibits rapid flow velocity, a constricted width, and limited vertical depth, preventing the emergence of aberrant entities within such currents. Coupled with our high-speed transit, apart from potential structural integrity issues, it presents a significantly safer passage. However, upon entering the East Sea Shelf, this vortex is expected to expand considerably, leading to a decrease in flow speed."

"By then, we should either disengage from the current and ascend, or... remain on the seabed until dawn," Lin Xian outlined his contingency plan.

Chen Sixuan nodded, her gaze fixed on the dark abyss outside with a somber mien. "I never imagined we would survive such a terrifying vortex."

"Our survival is indebted to KIKI and Ryuji."

Lin Xian exhaled deeply. "Without the two telekinetic individuals, I truly don't know what we would have done; it would have likely led to certain annihilation."

Having spoken, Lin Xian abruptly stood, uttering something unexpected.

"Alright, time to sleep."

"Sleep?" Chen Sixuan’s gaze fell upon Lin Xian. Despite her deep concern for his weariness, the Infinity was currently in chaos. Thousands of meters beneath the ocean's surface, with turbulent abyssal currents swirling outside, Lin Xian’s usual hyper-vigilance would normally be at its peak. Why would he suddenly decide to sleep now?

"Viola, it's in your hands now."

Lin Xian stood and headed towards the bedroom in Compartment 1. He explained to Chen Sixuan, "Behind us lies a volcanic eruption and the hunt of the Giant Ocean God. Outside, the 8th Star Abyss tide spreads its eerie influence above and below the waves. Ahead lies only uncertainty. Since this is the situation, we might as well seize this opportunity... to sleep well."

Lin Xian had not slept for days, even experiencing mental fatigue moments ago. He watched the countdown displayed in his vision.

14:19:11

A complex swirl of emotions washed over him. This countdown seemed relentless, an ever-present shadow regardless of the circumstances, like an ominous sign hanging perpetually overhead. Lin Xian had even contemplated whether he would cease to exist along with the countdown if he were to perish, or perhaps, there was a possibility that he simply could not die before this timer reached zero.
