Apocalypse: I Build A Doomsday Train Chapter 1167 - 450: Dive, Dive!

Crack!
The colossal Hai Bo Long Oriented Constraint Cannon, newly acquired and deployed for the first time by Lin Xian from the Black Star Forge, descended. This formidable space-based weapon was intended to replicate the objective of Mochizuki Masashi’s prior attempt to obliterate the Floating Tower in White City.
Whirr!
The dome's rocky exterior fractured and peeled away as countless serpentine black creatures coalesced into a colossal drill, descending like a monstrous serpent's torso. KIKI promptly unleashed a telekinetic tempest with both hands. Though the drill's leading edge shattered, the dispersed swarm instantly extruded a silvery-green web that ensnared the duo.
Recognizing the potent nature of these threads this time, KIKI cautiously avoided direct confrontation. Instead, he ripped a massive stone slab from the geothermal well's structure and interpositioned it. The threads, upon contact, rapidly eroded holes through the boulder, expelling a cloud of dust and pulverized rock.
Concurrently, on Viola’s flank, swarms of thousands of drones, akin to a cloud of insects, traversed the airspace above the geothermal well with remarkable speed. Their coordinated assault, featuring relentless lasers and high-energy impacts, mercilessly annihilated the serpentine entities.
"Lin Xian!"
"All set."
Lin Xian skillfully maneuvered a mechanical appendage to engage the reactor’s cooling fins, hoisting the immense metallic structure above the churning magma pool, shielded by KIKI’s telekinetic field. They then forcefully inserted the chain reaction module into the reactor’s core. Capping off this assembly, the gigantic Hai Bo Long Oriented Constraint Cannon was affixed atop the reactor, fabricating a rudimentary induction reactor device.
[System Note: The energy emissions from the enemy entities possess a substantial capacity for environmental and structural degradation, with extensive reach. To ensure the plan's successful execution, the device's integrity must be rigorously safeguarded.]
Viola issued this crucial reminder.
"Understood! Let's draw them off!" Lin Xian secured the reactor onto the geocore thermal device's supporting structure using the mechanical arm. He then signaled KIKI, and with their leg propellers operating at maximum output, they retreated with utmost urgency back towards the passage.
At this juncture, the black serpentine creatures blanketing the dome began to writhe and surge towards Lin Xian and KIKI with frantic intensity. They flowed like liquid darkness through the air, rapidly converging and drawing the wall-clinging entities into a colossal mass that swept forward with overwhelming force.
Viola followed, providing covering fire for their escape. Thousands of drones, exhibiting seemingly autonomous behavior, trailed closely, engaging targets while simultaneously protecting the retreating pair. Underneath Viola's exceptional computational prowess, each drone acted as if possessing an individual consciousness, capable of tracking tens of thousands of targets and dispersing to engage the enemy on multiple fronts. This level of coordinated swarm action was precisely the objective Lin Xian had envisioned for his drone army but had been unable to achieve.
[Detection Alert: Upper-level sensors have registered a significant influx of approaching organisms. Estimated contact imminent within 4 minutes.]
Even before they could fully disengage from the pursuing black horde, Viola delivered even more grim intelligence. Lin Xian's jaw clenched slightly as he activated the mechanical energy cannon, blasting open the partially collapsed passage. KIKI immediately deployed a defensive telekinetic shield as they charged directly into the opening.
Rumble.
Deep Water Port, the ocean waves crashing furiously.
The Infinity Train and the Abyssal Nuclear Submarine floated partially submerged in the dark, uninviting sea. Through the thick portholes, eerie bioluminescent organisms drifted by. Inside the Infinity, Chen Sixuan intently monitored the Sentinel System. Within the submarine's command center, Ryan’s gaze was fixed on the radar screen, where a massive red blip pulsed directly beneath them. His hand hovered over the alert button. Behind him, the entire crew held their breath, the tension so palpable that the thumping of their own heartbeats seemed amplified.
"Lin Xian... Lin Xian..." Chen Sixuan repeatedly attempted to establish contact with Lin Xian.
"The signal from the geothermal well is severely compromised," Ning Jing’s voice echoed from car number 5, where she, Da Lou, and others were monitoring. "I advise against any hasty actions at this moment."
"That entity is submerged, and we cannot get a clear identification," Ryan stated from the submarine, his tone conveying equal frustration.
"It's at least an A-class entity, possibly even Special-class. The Soul Swinging Value Detector is registering exceptionally high dark energy fluctuations," Erica of the Hawk Sea Group interjected.
Gedi added, "It appears not to have detected our presence yet. It would be prudent to avoid any rash moves. If we become marked, we'll be in serious trouble."
"It’s no longer just a matter of being marked," Monica, from the Infinity’s cockpit, said gravely. Bending down to peer through the Stardust porthole into the murky water, she observed a peculiar black and white ringed tentacle slowly gliding across the water’s surface. "This creature is obstructing our path for diving."
Upon hearing this statement, the key members listening in on the communication channel fell into a tense silence.
It was then that Chen Sixuan’s voice cut through the quiet, "Monica, Ryan, everyone prepare yourselves. We're left with only one option!"
The Infinity had just recently been outfitted for deep-sea exploration. Consequently, all its onboard armaments were non-functional, leaving the superpower users as their sole recourse against the impending peril.
Just as the atmosphere grew thick with anticipation, a colossal detonation ripped through the surface above, causing the waters of the Deep Water Port to churn violently. The monstrous entity lurking beneath the waves appeared to have fixed its attention on a specific target, as the normally dense, black sea grew eerily still. The luminous plankton suspended in the water abruptly extinguished their glow, and the sonar display of the Abyssal Nuclear Submarine was suddenly overwhelmed by pulsing crimson waves. Simultaneously, both the Hawk Sea Group and the Infinity were assailed by piercing internal alarms!
"It has arrived!"
With a thunderous crash!!
In the space separating the Infinity and the submarine, the water violently erupted. A colossal, gelatinous appendage, easily spanning over thirty meters in width, emerged from the depths with terrifying power. Tons of seawater cascaded onto the submarine's robust hull, sending the vessel careening into a rocky outcrop as if it were a mere plaything. The titanium alloy exterior shrieked in protest under the immense strain.
In almost the same instant, five pale, bone-spiked arms ensnared the Infinity’s third carriage, yanking it clean out of the water.
