Viola returned late from her aerial patrol due to gamma ray interference and a mysterious creature attack, reporting extensive damage to orbital base stations. Lin Xian immediately tasked her with diving deep underwater to open an energy release outlet beneath a massive vortex monster corpse using drones. As Viola advanced amid an intensifying earthquake from the active Galan Volcano, Lin Xian instructed her to proceed without clearing the corpse, opting instead for a risky experiment.

Nearly an hour after the giant whirlpool monster's death, its sunken corpse on the ocean floor keeps releasing black gas, infusing the expansive sea with the essence of dark corruption.

This black gas represents the dark energy that powers dark creatures and forms the foundation of their existence.

Humanity's knowledge of this dark energy remains limited for now. Whether the monsters' emitted dark energy will draw in more beasts remains unknown, yet for top-tier S-grade entities, the blood crystals from their fellows and the dispersed dark energy offer something to absorb and consume.

So far, no S-grade creatures have shown up, with the strongest monsters swarming near Sea Rock Island reaching only special level. Lin Xian figures that S-grades possess territorial instincts as advanced dark beings, and the Giant Ocean God, being a superior Evil God, prevents other S-grades from venturing close.

Right now, Lin Xian ponders if he should activate the energy drainage channel at full strength, uncertain of success but deeming it a viable final option.

This idea solidifies a strategy in Lin Xian's thoughts.

Before long, following Lin Xian's directives, Viola unleashes the negative pressure valve on the energy drainage channel, flinging it wide open, while deploying sensors and monitors via lines linked to the submarine base to track developments.

Guided by Viola, the operation proceeds flawlessly, sparing anyone the danger of dark contamination beneath the waves. Though the threat lingers unresolved, Hawk Sea Group members exhale in unison, grateful for this progress in their scheme.

"Releasing the earth’s core heat into these waters will turn this zone deadly." Ryan eyed Lin Xian: "What's our follow-up?"

Lin Xian glanced at the clock; under 24 hours remained on the timer, prompting his swift reply.

"The priority right now is enduring the night; abnormal bodies swarm fiercely, turning Sea Rock Island into mayhem tonight. A single abnormal body spotting us could annihilate our forces."

Lin Xian turned to Ryan: "I dispatched scouts to find island hideouts. Your fleet needs to disembark."

Hawk Sea Group members' faces shifted upon hearing this.

"Abandoning the ships?"

"Temporarily." Gedi calmed his comrades, "Sea monsters, volcanoes, quakes, tsunamis could strike anytime; land offers better odds."

"Our heavy weapons sit on the fleet." Azir scowled: "No heavies means no sustained fight."

"Hiding on the island won't necessarily stop abnormal bodies, quakes, or volcanoes." Vanessa pointed out.

KIKI cut in right away, "If Sea Rock Island fails against them, how will your ships hold? One wave capsizes it, dooming everyone to watery combat. Heavy weapons won't help then."

"But..."

"Stop worrying." Ryan let out a heavy sigh, scanning the battle-scarred beach, and muttered in resignation, "Lin's correct—surviving tonight comes first; everything else fades."

"Erica, Gedi, head back to the fleet now and shift all personnel to the island."

"West Coast?"

"Island." Lin Xian interjected suddenly: "Sea Rock Prison works for defense; with the energy drainage channel active, its geothermal wells stay steady for now, making it a safer refuge below."

"Lin Xian, do we move there too?" KIKI asked him promptly.

Lin Xian affirmed with a nod: "First, link up with Teacher Chen and Monica. If no superior spots exist on the island, we'll pilot Infinity over the strait to the submarine base."

"Okay." KIKI consented.

"Lin, we'll hold at the island for you." Ryan appended.

Consensus achieved with Hawk Sea Group, both squads sprang into distinct maneuvers, hastening personnel and supply transfers while devising defenses.

As Lin Xian gave the nod, the group fired up their power armor thrusters, rocketing skyward.

Meanwhile, beyond Sea Rock Island's orbit station where Infinity parked, post-fierce clash, debris littered the terrain amid the eerie body’s repulsive green blood. Piles of eerie body remains atop building rubble released a foul reek.

"Captain Chen, just under two hours since Captain Lin and his squad departed, we've already endured three eerie body assaults. I'm really concerned..." Sun Yuzhen gazed anxiously toward Chen Sixuan.

Within such a brief period, Infinity had faced three assaults. Although these stemmed from roaming eerie bodies, facing so many during daylight hours signaled the rising density of dark invasion forces across Sea Rock Island. Dark creatures had multiplied to unheard-of numbers, making it easy to envision the nightmarish chaos once darkness fell.

Chen Sixuan responded with composure: "No need to fret, Infinity’s firepower can easily repel those incoming eerie bodies."

"Don't worry, Mom!" Mo Xiaotian clasped Sun Yuzhen’s hand, reassuring her: "I've grown truly capable now, and with Brother Lin and Master’s power, they'll surely guide us out of this mess!"

"You're indeed quite capable now, able to fire Thunder Fox straight off; your growth is at godly speed!" Miao Lu lauded Mo Xiaotian, weapon in hand, positioned on top of the vehicle.
