The warriors of the First Battalion ingested a poison to imbue their attacks with toxicity. They then launched a surprise barrage of poisoned abilities on the Wanpeng Sand Bat, severely wounding its head. As the monster gave chase, they retreated, luring it into a series of dunes. The warriors then fired volleys of arrows at the Sand Bat's exposed underside and rear while it navigated the terrain, steadily weakening it.
