Xia Lei equipped her new armor and floating cannons while preparing for battle. Meanwhile, the twin sisters, Yatian and Yani, who had previously been overlooked, revealed their immense power as they prepared to engage three green-skinned monsters. They consumed various candies to enhance their abilities and donned newly upgraded equipment, showcasing powerful offensive and defensive capabilities.

The misery of being pinned and pummeled was evident, much like the current state of this green-skinned monstrosity.

Despite its combat prowess being among the highest of its kind, it was utterly incapable of resisting the incessant barrage of stomps from shoe soles that had become phantoms.

At this juncture, its singular defining trait—sheer physical strength—became magnified infinitely.

In this shattered world, most beings, whether they evolved or mutated, achieved a holistic evolution. Their physiques grew robust, and they simultaneously acquired abilities akin to magic.

Only a select few creatures underwent unidirectional evolution, focusing solely on physical might or a singular skill.

These green-skinned fiends possessed a physical advantage that few other life forms could rival, allowing them to frequently overpower beings of equivalent standing.

However, this specialization was not without its flaws. Should they face opponents with comparable physical fortitude, their primary advantage would evaporate entirely. Furthermore, their deficiency in specialized skills would morph into a significant vulnerability.

Yani, as a Golden Corpse, boasted a formidable physique and prodigious strength. The acquisition of the power fruit, coupled with the Companion suit and its integrated abilities, meant that vanquishing a green-skinned monster, whose agility was already hampered by those restrictive golden markings, was hardly an unexpected outcome.

Were it not for its level exceeding Yani's by one, the entire confrontation might have concluded within mere moments. How else could it have endured such prolonged, degrading slapping without succumbing?

Finally, it wasn't until the green-skinned monster's skull was crushed that the defeat was irrevocably sealed. One of the apex green-skinned monsters met its end in such a frustrating fashion.

Meanwhile, Yatian had also initiated combat. Engaged against two foes simultaneously, she found herself not at all at a disadvantage.

Currently, the Doll she wielded had morphed into an archer. This archer, adorned in exquisite, form-fitting leather armor, single-handedly engaged one of the green-skinned monsters.

The archer spawned from the Silken Doll was no common marksman; she was a fully empowered archer. The term 'fully empowered' signifies the presence of every conceivable enhancement. At this instant, she brandished a magnificent longbow. The draw of her bow and the release of her arrows were almost imperceptible; only streaks of afterimages were visible, striking the green-skinned monster's form.

The green-skinned monster had no desire to evade; it simply could not. Not only were its movements inhibited by the golden sigils on its body, but the archer's rate of fire was so overwhelming that it struggled to even track her movements. The arrows seemed to materialize endlessly.

It was almost unbelievable that arrows loosed by a solitary individual could evoke the sensation of a sky-darkening barrage.

Indeed, the metal arrowheads possessed considerable difficulty in penetrating the green-skinned monster's dense hide. With a casual sweep of its hand, the creature could effortlessly swat aside most incoming projectiles. Nevertheless, amidst its movements, several arrows managed to slip through, finding their mark upon its body.

This compelled the green-skinned monster to utilize one hand to shield its head and eyes, preventing direct hits to its vital sight.

However, this defensive posture plunged it into total passivity. Arrows began to rain down upon its form, their accuracy uncanny, as if guided. If a single arrow failed to breach its defenses, subsequent arrows would strike the exact same spot until the skin was compromised.

Upon puncturing the hide, the green-skinned monster understandably registered pain, forcing it to shift its stance to protect the wounded area. But as it did, another section of its body would inevitably come under the same relentless assault.

The green-skinned monster was not devoid of the inclination to retaliate. It lunged towards the archer on multiple occasions, but each time it attempted to advance, arrows would unerringly fly towards its eyes, ears, and other vulnerable orifices on its head.

This relentless harassment fueled its extreme irritation.

On one occasion, it attempted to charge forward, covering its head, but the archer proved as nimble as a monkey, moving with a swiftness that outpaced the green-skinned monster even without the impediment of the golden markings. Furthermore, she maintained a continuous barrage of shots while in constant motion, a display of skill that defied logic.

In a remarkably short span, the green-skinned monster found itself riddled with wounds.

It recognized the futility of this prolonged engagement. Given enough time, it would inevitably be worn down and killed by this archer, whose actual combat capability was significantly inferior to its own. It let out an enraged roar, abandoned all pretense of defense, and charged directly towards... Yatian.

The green-skinned monster was not entirely without intelligence. It perceived that the archer was a summoned entity; the true source of its power was Yatian. And at that very moment, Yatian herself was locked in a struggle with another green-skinned monster, not gaining the upper hand, but rather being forced into a defensive attrition. It reasoned that with just a little more sustained pressure, this human would be eliminated, causing the archer to vanish automatically, thereby resolving its own perilous situation.

However... Yatian was undeniably at a disadvantage. She was not a Golden Corpse; she was merely an eight-star evolved. Her current abilities were insufficient to overcome a top-tier green-skinned monster, even one with certain restrictions. But this did not signify that Yatian's true strength was limited to this extent.

The young girl began to feel indignant.

The archer, who had been unleashing rapid volleys, vanished. In her place materialized a mage, adorned in a resplendent, ancient-looking robe and wielding a half-length magic staff embedded with gemstones that resembled surveillance cameras for bathroom heaters.

The moment she appeared, a bolt of lightning struck the charging green-skinned monster, which was already bleeding from the archer's attacks. This caused the monster's body to stiffen, making its legs difficult to move.

Subsequently, a cloud materialized beneath its feet. What was initially a charge towards Yatian's proximity was thwarted as the cloud carried the green-skinned monster backward, causing it to recede further and further away.

Throughout this maneuver, innumerable wind blades erupted, commencing to lacerate the green-skinned monster's hide repeatedly.

The green-skinned monster, having slightly recovered from the electric shock's paralysis, found ice flowers blooming around its form. Each contact would cause them to adhere, freezing onto its body and impeding its movements just as the golden spots had done.

The predicament was not solely focused on the green-skinned monster. Beside Yatian, an earth elemental, nearly as colossal as the green-skinned monster, erupted from the ground, its massive arms lashing out towards the monster, thereby hindering Yatian.

This green-skinned monster grew intensely irritated by the sudden impediment. It lunged directly at the elemental, reducing it to fragments with a few powerful punches and kicks. Just as it prepared to resume its assault on Yatian, a water giant materialized to block its path once more. After expending effort to dismantle the water giant, a fire giant emerged...

The archer was fully empowered, and the mage commanded omni-elemental abilities. Furthermore, Yatian's eight-star level permitted her to effortlessly cast most spells, with the exception of a few with power comparable to forbidden spells or large-scale destructive magic.

The green-skinned monster, ensnared by wind blades and ice flowers, suddenly felt nothing beneath it as the floating cloud dissipated. Its body lost stability. It barely managed to land but stumbled. Then, a rush of wind was felt behind its head. It attempted a desperate dodge, but the combined encumbrance of the golden spots and ice flowers proved too significant; it remained agonizingly slow.

Thus, only the resounding slap of a colossal shoe sole striking its head was heard...
