The scroll in Xia Lei's hand vanished, and in its place, an elegant, exquisite small box materialized.

Upon opening this box, a misty radiance surged out, enveloping her entire form. A layer of armor, conforming snugly to her body, appeared. It possessed a stunning beauty, bearing a resemblance to leather armor yet feeling remarkably supple. This armor encased her completely, even featuring a black crystal visor over the eye area.

Subsequently, Xia Lei tossed the box aside. The instant it met the ground, another wave of light erupted. Seven points of light detached themselves, settling beside her shoulders, flanks, and legs. A final point materialized above her head.

Once in their designated positions, these luminous points transformed into seven sophisticated floating cannons, each roughly the thickness of a human arm.

Emerging behind Xia Lei, an energy shield, composed of hexagonal patterns, took shape. The seven floating cannons were linked to the perimeter of this energy shield.

A vacant long case reappeared in her grasp. Xia Lei unsealed it, retrieving two blades from within: one broad, the other narrow, but both exceptionally thick. This gave the wider blade the appearance of a wooden plank, while the narrower one resembled a sharpened cone.

Wielded by a delicate woman such as Xia Lei, the sight was undeniably peculiar, regardless of the perspective.

The Talking Lady observed Xia Lei advancing towards the injured green-skinned monster.

If the Talking Lady were in such a predicament, she would have targeted the three green-skinned monsters afflicted by the golden spots. Yatian and Yani occupied a unique standing within Cloud Peak, much like the Talking Lady, the black cat, the red-haired undead, and the dragonfish. They represented a singular human and a single corpse, yet shared an enigmatic bond.

These two young girls, once rescued by Ye Zhongming, had blossomed into statuesque young women. Indeed, not only had the human, Yatian, matured, but Yani, the golden corpse, had likewise reached full development.

"Ability 4, Lonely Dance Party. Nuonuo and her partner are bound together. Once each day, regardless of the distance separating them or any intervening barriers, Nuonuo and her partner can instantly teleport to each other's location."

"Nuonuo and Playmate's Black Leather Shoes. Ability 1: I Can Tap Dance. Never underestimate a girl's fury. When Nuonuo dons these black leather shoes, her agility sees a significant surge. Furthermore, when the shoes strike a target, they exert a crushing pressure equal to twice the combined might of Nuonuo and her partner."

"Ability 2, Shoes Must Be Clean. A love for cleanliness is a noble virtue. These black leather shoes possess an absorption capability. Any substance that makes contact with them is assimilated, becoming a source of power that can restore Nuonuo and her playmate's stamina, mental energy, and heal injuries when needed.
