The demon master is enraged by the death of Gorgonia and expresses disappointment in her failure to stall for time. Mother Marie is tasked with investigating Gorgonia's death and the disappearance of Terisa, who was investigating Merlin's killer. Meanwhile, Leon and Justin discuss the Vergas Empire, where a mass revival ritual for a demon is allegedly being planned under the guise of a festival.

"My father never liked Vergas Empire, although they traded food and liquor from our kingdom, he always thought that something was very odd about them.

That’s why he sent multiple spies inside the Kingdom in order to get information, although most of them ended up getting caught but one remained and he is still there supplying regular information to us.

Today when his letter came in, it had an urgent seal over it that’s why I opened it and readed the letter.

It was stated in that letter, that in two days there is going to be a big festival in Vergas Empire but it’s just going to be a show for the unknown audience because in reality, it is going to be a demon summoning ritual for a demon named-"

"Rup-Er Trolin ?" Leon interrupted with a smile as he took another sip from the wine glass.

"Wait, you know him ?" Justin asked with a shocked expression.

"Justin, I know everything you just told me. It’s not new information, what I want to know is what will your father do in this situation ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.

"Well, I am pretty sure he must be running to King Adwin right now in order to show him the letter. Then it will all be upto king adwin if he will take any action on it or dismiss it by calling it a silly rumour and to be honest, I don’t think any action will be taken against the Vergas Empire." Justin replied with a neutral expression.

"Why is that ?" Leon asked with a curious expression.

"Why would he want to kill trades with a kingdom that funds 30% of our Kingdom’s total economy ?

First of all, we will loose the money that’s coming in from the trades and the extra food that we grow only for trading with Vergas Empire will also go to waste and we can’t sell it cheap into the market to normal people because that would create a huge fluctuation in the economy, so big that it can collapse it completely." Justin explained.

"Why can’t economy and taxes leave me alone in another world ?" Leon spoke in a low voice as a dissapointed expression appeared over his face.

"Brother Leon, are you going to do something about it ?" Justin asked with a curious smile.

"I don’t know, yet." Leon replied with a neutral expression but in his mind he was thinking something else.

’Obviously I am going to stop her. Why would I let her use all those ketones on a demon when I can use them to get myself another summon.’

"Well, if you want to like kill that demon or something just contact me and I will come with you to help. I want to go I to combat with you brother.

It’s my life’s wish to go into the battlefield with an expert who knows what he is doing and achieve something impossible.

I think in my life that someone is your brother Leon. I am going to be the leader of weaver household but everyone sees us as a big information trading library and I want to change that view.

I want to do something that can make our image more intimidating in front of others and no one dares to cross sword with us again." Justin spoke with a serious expression as he stood up from the table and looked at Leon with big eyes.

"Don’t worry, you will make that image soon. For now just go back and prepare for your exam and then prepare for your marriage." Leon replied with a neutral expression.

"I will obey you, brother Leon. I will obey you until the end. Weaver household is at your service whenever you need us. I will take my leave now but do tell me if you decided to invade the Vergas Empire." Justin spoke as he started walking towards the room’s exit.

"Yes, Yes, I will. See you later" Leon replied with a smile.

Justin left the room and as soon as he left the room, Leon turned around.

"Elis..."

*Swish*

"Master." Elis spoke as she immediately appeared in front of Leon and bowed down to him.

"Take me to whatever floor Dreulis is on." Leon ordered.

"As you command, Master." Elis replied as both of them dissapeared immediately.

*Swish-Swish*

...

Thirteenth Floor,

"No, No, No, this one won’t work. This Demi-God is too arrogant. He won’t listen to me. This guy is just a cheap demon, he won’t work either.

FUCKKKKKKKK... What am I even supposed to do !??? Who will make a contract with me !??" Dreulis shouted as she immediately sat down on the ground and started looking at the names he had written on the floor in three circles of a Venn diagram.

"How about that-"

"AHHHHHHH." Dreulis screamed as he got scared and immediately ran away.

He then turned around and noticed that Leon was standing there with a smile on his face.

"Looks like for undeads you guys have too much human reflex and emotions." Leon replied.

"I-I wasn’t scared master. It was just a yawn." Dreulis replied immediately.

"When was the last time you slept, princess ?" Leon asked in a mocking tone as the smile on his face grew bigger.

"Don’t tell Rees about this but I don’t like jump scares and I know I am an undead and all, but I just don’t like them." Dreulis replied as he walked back to Leon.

"I won’t don’t worry. So, you were trying to look for someone to have a contract with. What are the three circles for ?" Leon asked with a neutral expression as looked at the venn diagram.

"These ones are Demons, these are Demi-Gods and these right here are fallen angels who once served the gods and will do anything to restore their glory." Dreulis spoke as he pointed towards the names.

"How do you even know these names ? Like how do you know which angel has fallen ?" Leon asked with a confused expression.

"Fairies master. They talk way too much and I have been in between many of them." Dreulis replied.
