Yang Chen is basically a cheat code for alchemy things

actually thought it was going to be another boring reincarnation story where the guy just gets lucky, but the way he uses those old alchemy memories to fix the trash body he woke up in is pretty satisfying to watch. Wish the girl who betrayed him in the first life got her comeuppance sooner because I’m still waiting for her to reappear so he can crush her, it feels like it's taking forever to get back to that plot point. The part where he makes that first high-grade pill and everyone's eyes practically pop out of their heads was the highlight for me, though I think he was only like fifteen when he did it? Or maybe sixteen, anyway he's way too young to be that smart but that's just how these stories go, I guess. The pacing gets a bit weird when he starts fighting those guys from the bigger sect, and honestly some of the side characters are just there to say 'wow' every five minutes which gets old. Still, if you like seeing a supposed failure suddenly start acting like a god and confusing all the elders, it hits the spot just fine.
